I'm not gonna lie here, I'm kind of a stickler when it comes to ramen & sushi. We got the two bowls of ramen, the goyo apps, and the sashimi platter. Everything tasted the fresh & was enjoyable. With that being said.. the ramen! It was actually REALLY GOOD! The portion was HUGE! And it was packed with flavor. I've traveled all over Asia and lived in SoCal for 8 years so I'd say I've had it all. This stuff was pretty freaking good. Could it be improved? Yes I'm sure. But it was awesome. The ambiance was nice. It felt very local off the beaten path. It was a darker setting which was nice to take the stress off the eyes and feel like you get a bit of privacy. I only went once but had I known it was this good I probably would have been back multiple times over the two weeks I was in town. Another great sushi meal at Post 20 Sushi. I had to start gyoza, absolutely delicious, a little spice but not overwhelming. Hubby had The Postman & I had the OG Fiegel. Both were great. Had the Who's your Matty cocktail. Spicy & delicious. Didn't take to many pics this time. However our favorite server is Erica, she is friendly & knowledgeable & we get hugs when we come in. so happy i found this sushi spot that i never knew existed until this weekend! small menu but makes deciding what to get much easier. we had three rolls and ramen to share. the gyoza ramen was the BEST. it had great flavor. i wasn't a fan of the tonkatsu ramen, the sauce on top of the katsu pork tasted like bbq sauce and the broth was so sweet. i'm not sure if you can ask for a spice level but it's worth asking because there was no heat. the sushi was really good and i'd come back just for that. the fish was fresh and that's something i'm so picky about with sushi. service was amazing even though it was crazy busy. we had multiple people check on us and serve us and when the food took a while, they were apologetic although we are very patient and would never make an issue of that. just very attentive staff. we will definitely be back to try more menu items!! read more

I travel a lot for work and make it a point to try sushi spots wherever I go. Traveling solo, I grabbed a seat at the sushi bar at Post 20 and ended up having one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had. I ordered the Chirashi, which here is the chef's choice of sashimi over rice. When it came out, I genuinely felt like I was back in Japan. Every bite was incredible. Sushi chef Justin struck up a conversation and asked if I'd ever tried raw octopus. He had just gotten some in from Japan and offered me a sample. Also incredible. Turns out Justin is one of the owners - super humble and clearly passionate about what they're creating. Blake was awesome too; you could tell he truly loved the art of the craft. They make many of their sauces in-house and thoughtfully pair them with different fish. Blake even has his own creation he calls "Da Sauuce." I've had omakase in Hawaii and sushi in Japan, and I can honestly say this was the best sushi experience I've ever had. The quality, value, and interaction with the staff made it feel truly special. Justin said he wants the place to have that old Cheers TV show feeling - the kind of place where everybody knows your name and you instantly feel like a regular. I certainly felt that. Stopped in for some mid-week Sushi date with my wife. We enjoyed several rolls and the nigiri / sashimi plate. Presentation was excellent and the we really enjoyed the meal. When were were preparing to leave for the evening, we mentioned to our server that we might place a to-go order on nights when they have a busy dining room, and she graciously grabbed one of the laminated menus for us to take with us. Amazing amazing amazing!!! The absolute best place to get a variety of asian themed foods. One of my favorite appetizers is edamame and this place nailed it. The people there were extremely friendly, giving us extremely speedy service even though the place was packed. At the end they even gave us complimentary hi-chew which is a nice touch. The place, although packed and a little loud, it was super beautiful and had amazing murals all over the walls. OMGoodness we loved Post 20! Great location and decorated so fitting for an Asian restaurant! Food choices were abundant and very good but a little pricey but what isn't these days. Erica was our server and she was so much fun. Her interaction was amazing. You can tell that she loves her job. Loved having a mixologist in the bar as she made unusual combinations to achieve awesome drinks. Post 20 is a place to go when you want to impress your friends for a fun dinner. The newest, cutest and super delicious local sushi spot. The owners did a beautiful job renovating this quaint little building keeping its cozy feel with a touch of modern flair, not to mention loving the music playlist as well (90s/00s). The food - on par with all other local sushi spots near the area. BUT the poke bowl was extraordinary - for the price, you get a nice surprise on the portion (that bowl is giant) and the salmon was incredible. I enjoyed the different take as the fish was prepared warm. Partner that with pickled red cabbage and cucumbers with a beautiful avocado flower and it was a bowl to behold! This will definitely be my staple go to. The gyoza was yummy and cooked to perfection. The Chirashi bowl was awesome but would recommend that and maybe a small app because it's a lot of fish and rice and you might not finish it! Great new Japanese Restaurant in Niceville, Post 20 Sushi. Went for first time last night, and were gratified by the good food, excellent service and low prices. The place is small, tables for 40 with some seats at Sushi Bar, but there were several servers, and they provided a warm welcome. Seemed like most of the patrons new each other and the servers, and everyone was pleasant and happy. NO loud thumping music, but three TV screens each showing different Asian restaurant kitchens cooking various dishes (no sound to compete with conversation). Nice selection of sushi, plus normal appetizers, ramen, poke bowls, and other traditional Japanese dishes. Quite like many of the small local restaurants we ate at in Japan, except there wasn't a language difference . We had the wakame (seaweed) salad, gyoza, and spicy tuna roll to start, then a teriyaki bowl, a tuna poke bowl, yakisoba and spider roll, and finished with the bananas foster cheese cake. Beer is limited but they have Japanese and 30A. It's a drive for us at Miramar Beach, but we'll be going back often. read more

We had the spring rolls which were hot as hell and delicious with the dipping sauce. I had a Mr Postman and Shrimp roll, both top both. Rolls. Wife had the Mikey G which she also loved. Stopped by Post 20 for the first time today and I will definitely be returning. I tried one of their signature cocktails, Mother of Dragon, it great, light and refreshing. The gyoza was a good start to the meal, my only issue was the sauce was a little salty for me, but I think that is just a matter of taste, it was delicious regardless. The real stars of the meal were the rolls. I tried a classic, the Volcano roll, I could eat the spicy krab salad that is put on top for a week straight and not get tired of it. I also tried one of the signature rolls the Boggy Boy, it was unique in terms of flavors, this is for sure the first time I have had a sushi roll that incorporated bacon, but as they say, bacon makes everything better, two very enthusiastic thumbs up. I plan on going back soon to try some more of the signature rolls and the ramen. Forgive the pictures, the rolls looked so good I forgot to take the photo before I tried them. LOL read more
