10/10 -- STRAIGHT FIRE Okay bro... the pizza was fire. We got the traditional pepperoni and I'm not even exaggerating it was so good I literally forgot to use my ranch. And if you know me, that says EVERYTHING. The crazy part? The ranch was actually really good too... I just didn't need it. The pizza was perfectly balanced, crispy, cheesy, flavorful just chef's kiss. The beers? Crisp. Smooth. So good. The aesthetics? On point. Live music... on a Wednesday night?? Super fire. For a second I felt like I was in Hawaii or something warm vibes, good energy then I stepped outside and remembered it's cold. What really stood out though? The owner actually came out, shook hands, hung out, and still ate there. That's rare. It's always a good sign when the owner is present and genuinely cares about the space and the people in it. Service was amazing. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was amazing. Honestly wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This great place is located uptown CDA in a strip mall. Walking inside was a great vibe, western themed. We all ordered some pizzas and a couple of appetizers. The pizzas were the best, beautiful toppings and crust. There own beers were the greatest. Great place. Not huge so may wait but they brew their own beer and have a wide selection. We had the pizza, sat at the bar and talked with some locals. They come once a week. Had hard seltzer for the spouse which she loved to the point of getting a crowler. Her goto is the pretzel bites with both sauces. For Trail's End this was a fun stop. They have a t shirt that says something to the effect of they are the brewery next to the adult novelty shop. And yes indeed, there is an adult novelty shop just a few doors down. This brewery we had a great beer from. It was the Bumpin' Bills Pils. It is kind of a craft brewery take on a Coors or a Bud but so much better. I love this type of beer rendition because it is always so much better than the beer they are basing it on. Highlights to expect with this beer is a crisp, clean and subtle unfolding along with bitterness and hoppiness. Tried this place based on reviews AND family. Pizza was really good. A bit pricey though. Got some pretzel bites and a couple beers. All good. Will I come back? Yes. Now the only issue we agreed on was the loud hard grunge death rock music playing. Way too loud and made the environment hard to stay in. Prices? pretty got damn expensive for a pizza, though it was tasty.. Maybe we will order food to go next time. We try to check out businesses in the area and, somehow, missed Trails End for four years! After the waiter came by and made us feel at home we were hopeful... and we weren't let down. The food was great and a little inventive without being unusual. I'll definitely try more of their pizzas! The Northwest ambience was also nice. There was a map in the tabletop and, by chance, it happened to be the area in western Washington where I grew up. I had a lot of fun pointing out locations to my wife and telling her stories. It was also just fun to see and say some of the Salish names I grew up with. read more

When I visit places away from home, I usually like to try a different place every night just to find new experiences. However, when I went to Trails End Brewery on my second night, I knew I would just keep coming back to this place every day that I was still in town. Unfortunately, that was only one additional day, but it was still great! They have a rather large selection of beer to sample. Honestly, I didn't sample too many because I found a banana hefe that was amazing. No, really, it IS a banana hefe. If you haven't had one (they are relatively uncommon from what I've seen), you should stop by just to try out that one. That is, if you like hefes and bananas, of course. That would have been enough to keep me coming back, but the excellent wood-fired pizza oven just made it an even better place to go! The pizza was cooked just right, with great toppings, and somehow you can just tell that it was freshly made in the wood oven. It was absolutely excellent and I will certainly return nearly every time I am in town. read more

This Brewery is the "Bees Knees!" There is literally something for everyone. If you are a wing person, you have got to try theirs as they cook them in their pizza oven and they have a very nice flavor and taste as a result (somebody was thinking outside of the box )... and it was a genius idea!! They make homemade root beer and have various ciders on tap which is great for the "non beer" friends! Their hef makes me bananas literally....it is a banana hef! Not to mention their pizzas are made to perfection, and their customer service and personalization is unlike any other places! You've definitely feel like you are welcome and they get to know you and your palate. Another fun tip is that if you like their cups, feel free to ask and you can purchase some of their glassware or gear in their shop. I love using their stemmed beer glass for wine personally, and their taster beer glasses at home. This location is always clean and inviting and has fun pub tables. Some of the fermentation tanks and brewing vessels can also be seen which adds to the cool vibe. I had to make a review just because this place is out of this world, I almost didn't want to out of fear it will get too busy now lol...but seriously this place is too too good to not share!! Came here for dinner and beers on our stay over in cdl. What gem this place is and the staff was outstanding. We had the best waitress in a long time, she is full of charisma and made the place just that much more fun. She picked a awesome flight for the wife and severed me one of the best Hef's a hef lover could ask for!! No bull shit got two crowlers to go. Wow, we were so happy we chose to try Trails End when visiting family in Post Falls. The service (Tanner) was outstanding! The food was amazing and they had a Kids Menu, which was the main reason we decided to try it. We had a Beer Flight that Tanner easily set up for us. Im always on the hunt for great pizza... and if your in the mood for great pizza , then this is NOT the place. The pizza was "ok" I paid $50 for 2 pies. A cheese and the trails end (similar to the works) They were very small and light. Not filling at all. A large will feed 2 adults, if you have sides to go with it. I love brick oven pizza, when it's done right. And it wasn't done right. One of my pizzas was burnt and the other one was close to being burnt. Definitely could have used more cheese. Toppings were nothing special either. The crust had its moments where you would have a bite and could get glimpses of the brick oven benefits. But overall the crust was kinda tough and rubbery. I got my pizza to go but The atmosphere was amazing. It was a Friday night and it was packed. I don't drink but there was a cool bar area where you can see the brewery. Really neat. A live band was a great touch. The guy helping me was super polite and helpful. Pizza 2 stars tops. Atmosphere 4-5 starts Total stars - 3 In my opinion, the great reviews are from the ambiance and atmosphere and people. the food was "meh" . I'd never go back for a pizza. Pizzas here are very, very good. We enjoyed the Trail's End and CPR. Beers and my Lemon Basil Cider was outstanding. Our server, however, Chelsey B. left a lot to be desired! She referred to absolutely everyone as her friends, however calling us "friends" does not make any server a good server. She walked passed us prior to ordering so many times, I was tempted to go order at the bar. She did not bring the kids their waters even after bringing us our beers( which took some time) and again walked passed us for over 15 minutes before she offered us our check. I suppose if our time here and our check was determined by time spent, like rent, it would be one thing but it was not. Businesses are built on not just good food but good service.
