I didn't understand when he said it would take 2 to 5 days for it to get there. Because UPS in Florida is usually always delivered within a day(especially when only going across the state) even though it says it could take two days or so. I even said that is weird bc UPS is usually always only a day or two at most. He just stood there looking at us. I didn't realize he changed the delivery company on us that we requested (didn't even acknowledge that he changed it what we asked for either) until I went to track the package and see that 3 days later it's still not there. So now it makes sense that it's taking three days to go from Fort Myers to Miami, which is still a joke. Mail used to go across the country in three days. I had already been to the post office and sent the letter via certified mail. I went to the UPS store specifically to send it via UPS as a backup/second form of delivery. So now I have the exact package being delivered on the exact day via USPS and I just wasted money. Not happy!

The tall guy behind the counter looked miserable- was also rude and condescending had a bad attitude. From other reviews here on yelp apparently this is the way the guy is. I asked him for a small 5 inch piece of tape to put on the back of my envelope because I forgot to do it at home. He informed me it was going to be a dollar. A dollar for a piece of tape? I told him I've been coming there for over 20 years and his snarky comment was "we'll go talk to the owner She's outside". I told him I choose to bring my business there for 20 years because it's a small business and nobody else charges for a piece of tape. He threw my envelope down on the counter and said "then go somewhere else- here is your FREE piece of tape". I ended up just paying for the certified letter because I was in a rush, but the owner was walking in as I went out, and I stopped her and said the same things to her. I tried to School her on good customer service. She argued with me about how people come in and they lose a lot of money because of tape. I explained to her sometimes you got to just eat it as a business owner and if it cost you $50 a year in tape to be Customer service friendly then that's a very small price to pay in this environment. She looked at me and was dismissive. Guess the extra dollar she is making on maybe 10 people a year is gonna really put her over the top with revenue. There's another postal place on College Avenue which I'll be going to from here on out. What a fool.

Its hidden behind a shopping center, not visible off of Estero Blvd. Its a small, white building with just enough parking for a beach community that normally travels by bike or on foot. We parked and went in to mail my postcards. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and helpful, he even forewarned me to buy extra postage as postcard stamp pricing is going up another penny. I thanked him for his help and sent out my cards. Nice post office with great service, but hard to find off of the main road.

Had such a great experience previously with Tony, I had 1 package to ship usps, and another to ship…read morefedex with insurance, clerk informed me she had to open my package and pack it a certain way in order to insure it. Seemed strange but I said ok if you have to... I asked for it to be insured for $1400. After opening my package and removing everything from the box, all of a sudden she told me she can only insure the package up to $999.99.... ...she handed my now open box back to me so I could take it to fedex directly as she thought they could insure for the requested amount. I asked her to retape the box she felt necessary to open. She replied well they're going to have to open it back up ... terrible service, I took package back home to rebox , upon searching fedex website they only open suspicious packages not any package you wish to insure. Tony , your help is not helping your business.
