US Post Office - Page Field is great. The location is good. The service is nice. The experience is fantastic.

Horrible service. The topper is that I mailed a letter on December 27 (two hours before before the last 2 PM pick-up time) and it finally arrived today, January 5, 2026, with a postmark of January 2, 2026! That means it laid in the Ft. Myers mailbox for 7 days! I am appalled with the service we get here in Ft. Myers from the USPS. read more

I've always had great service here, even during snowbird season. From November to about May this post office is packed. The line can easily have 35 people in it during the Winter and Spring, versus the typical 4-5 people. The postal workers try to do their best to get people moving. Without disclosing too much, I have had great service during times where this location was packed, and I couldn't wait. The postal workers are helpful, and nice. People want to complain, but imagine having to deal with crazy amounts of personalities all day every day for 6-7 months a year. Just be mindful during the winter/spring seasons if you have any time restraints. read more

I don't even know where to start. I got there as soon as they opened to be first in line. But when I got there , the front was empty. My first clerk (Chiquita) was hard to hear and left me ! I never saw her again once she gave me a box. So then I went back and forth between 2 clerks as they would help others (which is great but my clerk left me and I was literally tossed aside with no help). The whole experience was infuriating. I was there for a whole hour to finally get my package all packaged up and paid for! Nichole ,god bless her heart, she was one of the ones who tried helping me and was patient. I understand it gets busy but for a whole line to be formed by the security "gates" and not a single office clerk to be at the front is ridiculous. read more

Passport service is a lie! Kids renewals have to be in person with both parents. Twice we take off work to come down together with kids. They cancel your appointment (made a month in advance) 30 minutes before the scheduled time. We were driving there and didn't get the VM until we arrived. Then, to make up for it Terrence "scheduled an appointment". When we showed up at the scheduled time, they look at you stone cold and tell you no appointments. Meanwhile trip is getting close and still no appointments. read more

The woman with the short hair was laughing at a transgender customer last time I had to pick up a package at this location. I don't know if USPS workers just find any excuse as to why they can't deliver mail or packages or they are just plain lazy but at least if I have to go to the post office just to pick up mail they could have easily put in the mailbox, I would appreciate the associates working there to not making transphobic chuckles at guests. read more

Getting in and out of the parking lot is horrible. The lines are long and the set up or design to get in and out is horrible. Usually i go after work (around 3:30-4) but geeze, last time i went the line was all the way to the street and people honking left and right because of slow drivers. Been getting all my packages /mail delivered here because for some reason They have the hardest time locating my APT and actually giving us mail. apparently NOW its an issue receiving packages especially from other carriers .After 7 months tell tell us about the issue now?! Super rude counter lady with long dark hair. Looks possibly Mexican, Latino, Hispanic....I am not sure if the correct term because I did not grab her name. I came off to drop some packages off to the actual counter, normally just drop them in the boxes. I guess we had the postage incorrect and had no idea at all. We wanted to learn so we tried asking questions and she ignoring us and basically decided to scorn me about my mistake and not even go over them with me and just raise her voice over mine, scribbled on my packages that had nice boxes and placed random tape on them. I still don't really understand my mistake and she said my boxes and envelopes were also wrong but she wouldn't slow down to explain either so we could prevent the issue for the future. Regardless of her rude behavior I tried saying goodbye and happy new year and in the middle of my sentence she was calling the next guess to the counter while I was still in front of her. This is by far the worst branch in America!!! My carrier marked my packages as delivered when he did not deliver them or take them back to the post office!?? I went up to the post office 2 days in a row spoke with a William and the customer service manager who was so unprofessional and rude! He said the carrier couldn't remember where he delivered! Then tried to blame one of my neighbors for not returning a package that the carrier "doesn't know" where he left it! Total disregard for packages worth more than $300! I started a new business and now I have to disappoint customers and lose their business. I will never use them again! Why are we paying for USPS when they don't care about our mail and treat you like trash for wanting them to do their job properly! Ruined my holiday! I will be filing a complaint. read more

I was there Tuesday with a lady I care for who is in a wheelchair. It was busy but that's okay, they asked for help up front but no one came. Once we got to the counter we had to fill out some paperwork. Needless to say the counter is to tall for a wheelchair bound person. There needs to be a section for someone like this. If I hadn't been with her how would she have been treated? Not good customer service for the handicapped. Plus only two handicapped parking spaces out front! Sorry but I was just a bit upset with the fact that this is a government building and here of all places should accommodate!!! read more

I don't know where to start about my experience but it was the worse. I ordered a pack and play for our infant daughter from Amazon. I received an update upon delivery that it was delivered by USPS with the message follows "your package was delivered on the front porch" I thought it was odd since I do not have a front porch and lived in an apartment complex. Once I came home I did not find a package left at my front door so I assume the post office delivered it to the property office. That wasn't the case since it wasn't left there the following day. My headache kicked in since the package did not show up as indicated I even went to the Page field post office location to speak with the manager David Moyer and promised to look into the matter but he have yet to respond back to my emails. On my second trip to the post office a week later I was told by another manager that my package is a lost cause because Amazon is required to leave it on the porch or at the front door?? really?? why would you leave a package exposed by the front door. Basically he said I'm screwed and my baby left without a pack and play. I have never been treated like this before, it was embarrassing so please understands my frustration. Subsequently we had to get another pack and play and have it delivered to a place of business instead so it would arrived safely, still and sadly no one from the post office reached out to follow up at present time. read more

The post office gets a bad wrap. I really like this post office. It is sometimes hard to park. That is the reason for the four stars. It's a one lane parking lot so one person waiting for a spot can clog up the lanes. I love that the post office boxes are open 24 hours are day. I like to sometimes check my mail at 8 pm on a Sunday. I know I am weird. It is comforting to know that they are open. The workers are friendly and can help the best they can One time I prepaid shipping for an item I sold on Ebay. I was weary about the estimated weight. When I got to the post office I was off by more than a pound. I went to the postal worker and asked what I could do. I know thy are not supposed to do anything with the Ebay prepaid but they allowed me to buy the extra pound. I think that is all I can say about the post office... read more

This post office is a joke. I have tried several times to send packages to my daughter and they get returned everytime. They say there is no delivery access to her address. She lives in an apartment complex where there most definitely is delivery access. Amazon, UPS, Fedex, Walmart delivery, flower deliveries, Chewy, etc. has not one issue with leaving packages at her door. Obviously, the mail carrier is a little on the lazy side, apparently cannot walk to her door or the apartment complex itself is a joke. Either way, I cannot get an answer from either the post office or the apartment complex. I sent a birthday care package from PA to FL and it was returned to me twice saying no delivery access to her address, the third time my post office master sent it and it was delivered to her. Now explain that to me, how did she send it successfully but, I cannot. I ordered a xmas tree from Walmart and it was returned back to them for the same exact reason. This is ridiculous. And I'm not the only one to have packages returned from this post office to the sender saying the same exact thing. Pretty sad that our loved ones live away from us, and we cannot send them care packages or anything through the postal service and expect them to get it. Any they wonder why people dislike the mail system. This is a perfect example. read more

For several weeks my mail has occasionally been placed in box 223 and I get her mail in box 222. It happened again on 8/1/13. I placed her mail in her door and noticed today it is still there which means she may be on vacation. I would like to get my mail that may be in her box. Could you have the carrier check into this. The post office manager at this location is less than helpful. I had a situation with a package damaged in transit. I was not able to resolve the issue online and when I called the 1-800 number I was told to go to my local office. The manager here said he could not do anything. He also said he could not provide me a different phone number other than the 800 number that is online. I asked how his post office would not have any other number for the government organization he works for. He said there was nothing he could do. I asked for his name he would not give it to me. This office is NOT closed. For the past 4 yrs we have had nothing but problems with this office, despite reporting these to the management and Washington D.C. Problems such as not delivering mail for a week due to carrier error (told us we had completed a change of address, when it was our neighbor who had the change; then the said mail was lost, never to be found) once we forwarded mail and carrier kept delivering to our old address. Called the P.O. X3; not resolved. Went in person to investigate and we were told someone cancelled the forwarding order, (we did not, so it was someone in the P.O. Filled out another form. Just yesterday I received a call from a collection agency: a local hospital had billed me for services.i never received the bills. In talking with the hospital we found out that the P.O. Had returned the bills, stamped "unable to deliver, vacant". We were in residence. Someone needs to reorganize this office and discharge those who are not doing their jobs. We have been told that there is nothing they can do in DC, but needs to be handled on a local basis. Our attempts to contact "Henry" at Page Field have been futile. Then I drive out there, stand in line just to be told to call for an appointment. She did not care, and pointed to the wall and told me that the number is on the wall...call it she said. We have had a new mail carrier for the past few months of so. The mail comes soooooo much later. It also is frequently put into the wrong box. The residents names are on each box, so this should not be a problem. The street address is Village Edge Circle, Fort Myer, 33919. The carrier should be used to the route now and be able to put the mail in the proper box. The clincher for me was when a neighbor knocked on my door with my pail in his hand. He had opened it, and it was my medical records and prescription medication! I don't blame him for opening it, as people assume the mail carrier can put mail in the correct box. I am mortified that my neighbor had access to my medical records and medication! The USPS is supposed to be a secure place to send and recive mail when you have a key to open your box. I have also gone to get my mail from my box and when I turned my key and pulled to open my mail box door, the entire door for all boxes opened all at once. This has happened a number of times. This mail carrier needs some training. Please look into this matter as my personal information is not secure with this carrier and I have a serious problem with that! read more
