I've had repeated issues with this post office ignoring my outgoing mail. Every time they deliver…read moremail, they put my mailbox flag down without taking the outgoing mail that's clearly sitting there. This went on for over a month. Instead of addressing it, they eventually left a note saying they "don't use that type of mail service." That makes no sense considering they deliver that exact type of mail to my address regularly. If there are limitations on what they will pick up, that should be clearly communicated -- not ignored for weeks. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. And to add. Instead of waiting a month and feuding with me over the mailbox flag next time put that sticker ON THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Absolutely disgusting

They will find every way to "stuff" any size packages into your mailbox as long as they don't have to get out of their vehicle. And when they do have no choice but to step out of their vehicle, they will leave the packages leaning against the part of the house that is closest to their precious car seat. Sometimes leaving it leaning against the wall next to the driveway or on the ground in front of the garage. But the front door? No way. Can we just abolish the post office and expand UPS or FedEx? At least they will exit their vehicle to deliver a package.

I've checked in 45 times according to Yelp when I need to mail cards, or packages to relatives and friends in other cities or states. I usually stop on my way to the cemetery when in route to Rochester Hills so it is very convenient for Me. My many photos attached show the reason still to rate 5 stars as in 2017. There are rotating employees working at the 3 counters every time I visit for stamps or mailing packages or envelopes. They are efficient and polite and take their time to service my needs. The counters, floors, self serve mailing areas are always clean and clutter free along with stocked mailing supplies! There are handicap access parking spots and a push button to enter the Post Office if you are disabled or if you are carrying packages to mail. In the lobby are post office boxes to rent for a fee and with key accessible. This location assists for passports and pick up of your held mail ftom vacation and large packages too. The employees load up their truck /vehicles in a parking lot in the back. I believe all the packages and mail come here from Allen PARK location or from Mount Clemens that is split up. This building inside does not sell stamps but you can pick up your mail that has been stopped or a package that you have missed for delivery, and it requires a signature. In turn you will need to show your ID to verify address to pick up a package or hold mail. Their phone number is 226-4023. EVERYTIME, I call to inquiry about my mail whether lost, damaged mail or a question about delivery service no one answers. Sometimes when I call once or twice a month, it just rings and rings and no one answers. Then on a lucky day? I engage with a automated recording to select an option and I am put on hold for the next available representative. After being put on hold for 30 minutes no one answers so I hang up. This happened again Monday April 30th of this week and yesterday Thursday May 3. Today I decided to drive over and walked inside Annex to find out where my package is that shipped April 20th. I received a tracking number and daily I am tracking the number but it's at a standstill and cannot be located whether it's Allen Park Mount Clemens or Macomb Township. Today it never arrived to the Annex, or Allen Park location, therefore no one knows where it is. I was told my tracking # is being investigated by the manager or the boss at this location who is Matt. The customer service rep that assisted me today was Denise no complaints with her she did her best, but I am still at a dead-end here. I hope my 15 pound box wherever it is ...is not damaged, lost, or stolen!? I'm only giving 3 stars for this location because it is either overloaded with mail, and employees cannot keep up with the Overflow ? In which they are too busy to answer the phone or lack of Extra help ?? !!
