This location for the United States Post Office is an Annex. It is used for the mail carriers in my neighborhood area within a radius of coverage. The employees load up their truck /vehicles in a parking lot in the back. I believe all the packages and mail come here from Allen PARK location or from Mount Clemens that is split up. This building inside does not sell stamps but you can pick up your mail that has been stopped or a package that you have missed for delivery, and it requires a signature. In turn you will need to show your ID to verify address to pick up a package or hold mail. Their phone number is 226-4023. EVERYTIME, I call to inquiry about my mail whether lost, damaged mail or a question about delivery service no one answers. Sometimes when I call once or twice a month, it just rings and rings and no one answers. Then on a lucky day? I engage with a automated recording to select an option and I am put on hold for the next available representative. After being put on hold for 30 minutes no one answers so I hang up. This happened again Monday April 30th of this week and yesterday Thursday May 3. Today I decided to drive over and walked inside Annex to find out where my package is that shipped April 20th. I received a tracking number and daily I am tracking the number but it's at a standstill and cannot be located whether it's Allen Park Mount Clemens or Macomb Township. Today it never arrived to the Annex, or Allen Park location, therefore no one knows where it is. I was told my tracking # is being investigated by the manager or the boss at this location who is Matt. The customer service rep that assisted me today was Denise no complaints with her she did her best, but I am still at a dead-end here. I hope my 15 pound box wherever it is ...is not damaged, lost, or stolen!? I'm only giving 3 stars for this location because it is either overloaded with mail, and employees cannot keep up with the Overflow ? In which they are too busy to answer the phone or lack of Extra help ?? !! I wonder if there's anyone out on Yelp that has the same problem with their mail delivery or had a package lost or it didn't arrive at this Annex?? or they get lost when they get here? read more

CANNOT buy stamps, the best you can do is mail a letter or drop off a SMALL package *if* it fits in the little door, and I mean LITTLE. Rare to find anyone to ask a Q. DO NOT use the mailbox outside in December, it's usually STUFFED with mail and can easily lead to theft since they don't empty it all that often during the holidays. read more

I run a small business out of my home and often use this facility for package pickup. I do what is required of me to setup the process the night before the deadline and to my dismay the Postal Service does not always want to pickup the packages as scheduled. When you can to see if someone is coming or not no one answers the phone. When you go over their heads to headquarters they arrive within 5 minutes. Now they just claim they picked them up on their paperwork but the boxes are still on my porch! There's a problem here. read more

We haven't had any problems for a long time at our 48044 address but no mail since Jan 27th (today is Feb 2nd). No one answers phone, and other reviews here indicate continuing failure of the proper operation of this annex. Understaffed or what? (BTW, Google and/or Yelp screwed up my home location. TOTAL CLOWN SHOW! Paid $20 to have letter delivered certified with signature receipt. Not only did these stooges fail to deliver the letter but they had the audacity to lie and tell me it was delivered! When I asked them to show me the signature confirmation, you guessed it! They had no clue what happened or where the letter was! Of course, they don't answer the phone. Now, the USPS lost important legal documents AND the imbeciles wonder why the USPS loses money annually! BOTH Trump and Biden administrations cannot address the poor quality of service across the USPS. Elected officials (I've written numerous times) can't address the problem either. HORRENDOUS customer service. The absolute worst there could be. The staff consistently ignore phone calls and disconnects calls without speaking to anyone. They fraudulently mark packages as failed attempts and then fraudulently issue a fake "Hold by customer's request" making further deliveries unavailable. It is painfully obvious that the staff do not care about professionalism or courtesy and has zero management oversight. I have encourage anyone else experiencing similar issue to file formal complaints on the USPS site. read more

They write a letter and put it in my neighbors mailbox demanding that they not park in front of the mailbox. They did not sign it. The neighbor thought it was me so she called the police and that lead to an altercation with my neighbors for no reason. This is ridiculous. Literally the worst customer service ever received you're lucky if the phone doesn't just keep ringing till failure.

This faciltiy has horrible customer service. They lost a package that they said was deleivered and when you try to call 586-226-4023 several days in a row and multiple times throughout the day no one picks up the phone. When you even stop at the facility, talk to an employee, and fill out the paperwork on what your issue is you still don't get a response. I will now start to us UPS and Fed Ex. and no longer rely on this Post Office location. read more

Its a shame you you can not give negative stars. I have never had such horrible customer service and my mail was held for a reason that did not happen. They have no interest to help anyone and will hang up on you. Our tax dollars for mail that is illegally being held for a reason that did not happen. Thanks for making my daughter and grandson suffer. I get screen shots of my mail through the USPS digest and Never has my mail box ever been filled. First experience going into this facility and the service that I received today was phenomenal!! The staff and the supervisory leadership went above and beyond to locate my precious package of baby formula. They were extremely helpful,compassionate and reassured me that I would be receiving my package(even after closing hours). I received follow up calls, and sure enough I was able to receive my package. I will admit that I was little apprehensive about going to this location after reading the reviews, but my experience was beyond measure! Thank you USPS staff! read more

Please be patient. Keep in mind this is a government organization. It has no accountably. Think of the DMV It is the same. How about Medical care for our vets. A lost cause. I have had to deal with these people twice in my life. Summer 2014 their driver dropped my package off at the wrong house. It was then brought back to their facility and when I went to pick it up they blew me off and told me they we re too busy to look for it. I literally stayed there with my newborn and made them. It was found. Next was today, my package had an incorrect address and I was assured by FedEx AND the company the package was from that it was AT THAT facility. Again they blew me off, cut me off while talking, told me it was already on a truck and sent out. Told me they couldn't help me. Even though I told them it was confirmed it was there. Finally, I told them I am staying and they need to find it. They found it. They suck and are so rude, lazy, and lack people skills. End of story. read more

This place is TERRIBLE! First all no one ever answers the phone. I probably called 100X and maybe someone picked up the phone 5 times. They lost my package and kept giving me the run around. All 5x I asked to talk to the manager the lady told me she was "not in" or "in a meeting" in which she would leave her my name and number and have her call me. SHE NEVER DID. So they lost my package and never did a dang thing except ignore me and give me the run around! Oh and this wasn't the first time they lost my package it happens once before too! read more

spoke with a representative named Linda who was not only rude and continuously interrupted me while trying to explain my particular scenario to her, but was then combative when I expressed I would've liked to finish my explanation and she continued to argue... asked to speak with a supervisor so Linda then abruptly placed me on hold (after sitting on hold for 5 minutes just to reach someone after already being disconnected after the phone rang for about 3 minutes with no answer), spoke to Mary who attempted to help. VERY poor customer service- regardless of one's position within a company, when you are greeting people over the phone it should be a representation of that company and not too difficult to have a friendly tone and manner while dealing with already frustrated customers. read more

absolutely ridiculous service. macomb annex forged my signature on a package and never game me my 1600 dollar purse. they wont return my calls or even answer the phone!!! i called over 100 times in a week span with no answer at all. finally i get a call back, i miss the call and call back after 2mins and no answer! they call me and as soon as i answer i am on hold for over an hour!being forced to hang up because i work full time. i was at work when they so called delivered my package and it was signed for by me. complete bs! this is terrible. i am so upset i dont even know what to do. can someone please fix this for me? please. i am going to make a police report today. this is stealing, and horrible customer service. read more
