I had a great experience at this UPS Store, while it's a chain, this location truly feels like a small mom-and-pop shop. The staff were friendly and patient, taking the time to walk me through the entire process of ordering big head prints without ever making me feel rushed. I always enjoy taking my business to this UPS Store. The staff are all very friendly and seem genuinely pleased to help with whatever I need. They have helped me with large scale printing needs, notary services, Amazon returns, and packing services. When I mentioned to them that my daughter was getting married, they offered to help with any posters or large printing needs that we may have. I also recently learned that they do passport photos. tl;dr if you have a drop off with a label highly recommend the kiosk right when you enter, there likely will be a wait for an Amazon return, for shipping and creating a label, highly recommend another location like the incredibly friendly and helpful Postal Works on 185th (if feasible) (1 star) i believe that we really should have grace and give the benefit of the doubt to folks, and maybe it's just unfortunate timing that i walked in on a monday afternoon that happened to be tax day (though, wouldn't a shipping location's true colors show in the ability to diffuse a burst of busyness?), but i was quite let down here: (1) a snaking line served by two registers (it would be nice if in peak times, the registers became specialized to help people as readily as possible, like needing to mail a letter and pay postage vs an Amazon return) (2) no greeting or acknowledgement, in fact it was some 5 minutes of a crowd of us standing in a makeshift line when one of the clerks even acknowledged the crowd and let us know that if you have a label already, there's a kiosk (hidden by the crowd, in the corner!) where you can drop packages off directly. (3) it was quite uncomfortable as a customer to hear the constant and repeated sighs of the clerks looking at the growing line (sorry, i don't mean to be a burden!) and hearing a clerk at one point say to an older person "Sir, trust me I know what I'm doing," when the older person simply seemed to be sending an important letter and was just wanting reassurance that all was in order it's disappointing to see that the shared sentiment among fellow Yelpers continues -- i truly hope this constructive criticism is taken into consideration by this location's management. don't get me wrong, i really appreciate the convenient location, but lots of room to improve! read more

This store has been under new ownership recently. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and three store has recently expanded to offer mailing services for USPS packages. There is an easy to use kiosk for Amazon returns if you don't need repackaging. I come here all the time and am always pleased with the service and attitudes of the staff. I had an item I had to return to an online store, and was provided a shipping label. I had the original box it came in and all that, but didn't have tape. Not something I have a big use for in my life. I thought no problem, they can help me out at the UPS store. They won't be jerks. I remember long ago shipping a package, and the guy was like oh yeah let's secure that a little more, and preceded to whip out his tape gun and go to town. Well, that was then. So more recently I'm going into the UPS store to get this package returned. I'm feeling kind of anxious, but there's two guys working the counter and one of them seems super friendly. He's helping this lady get her stuff sorted, and taped up. And I thought oh good, this wont be too bad. They're obviously friendly.... or well, at least that one dude was. See, there were two guys there, and one guy was obviously friendly, and the other wasn't. By any measure. And that's the guy I got stuck with because some other lady came in and managed to cut the line. I wish I had actually said something, because I got stuck with the non-nice guy. He made it uncomfortable from the start. A bit rude and forceful, like I was wasting his time. And as we're sitting here going over this, that other dude is in the background helping that other new lady tape up some stuff. And the dude I'm talking to tells me I need to buy a whole roll of tape, they can't provide tape. I'm just looking at this other dude helping that lady and thinking... what??! Like are you that big of a jerk that you'd sit there and do that while your coworker is showing the opposite?? I didn't want to buy the whole role of tape. I didn't need a whole role of tape. I just needed the package shipped, and thought they'd help me out, but they didn't. They just didn't. It was an uncomfortable situation and it felt like they forced me into buying a whole role of tape I didn't need. And it's like... I didn't need the roll of tape, so I left it there. And the guy is like you gonna take your roll?! Well, like dude. I didn't need it. You're the one that made me waste money on it because you've got a stick up your back end. Because obviously your coworker doesn't have the same level of issues when it comes to helping people. In closing. This location has a lot of one star reviews for a reason. I hope the staff from this location actually reads these reviews. I don't think they will respond, but if anyone from UPS does read this, just know that the staff at this location is awful, they're awful people that are difficult to work with, and hurt your customer base with how they treat customers. If you're a customer thinking you're going to go in here and be helped, think again. They want your money, but they don't want your business, or your pesky little consumer needs. Just give them your money, and leave them alone; that's their attitude. read more

I needed a notary to witness a signature. I scheduled an appointment online from their site for 3:30pm on a Saturday. I immediately got an email and phone call to say that they close at 3pm on Saturday. Hmm why offer me times for an appointment when you know you're closed? So I rescheduled for 2:30pm. Got a confirmation and even a reminder the day of the appointment. I got to the store at 2:15pm and found a note on the door saying they are closed due to short staff. They could have either emailed or called like before, but nothing. They had the mechanism to do the right thing but didn't. I probably wouldn't be so upset if I didn't have another people travel in for this notary session. Waste of time. Best part of this story is I drove down to the UPS store on Walker road and walked in and asked if I needed an appointment for a notary. They said no problem and took care of me. We will move our business to them moving forward. read more

I really appreciate the extra help that I've gotten a couple of times, when I couldn't figure out how to do something on my own. I don't have much experience with buying packing boxes or other supplies from them, so I can't speak to that. read more

My old job asked me to drop of their equipment at ups and I had the misfortune of choosing this location to try and send it back. My old job sent me an email saying that the ups reps would know what to do and provided detailed instructions for the ups personnel. I was not to be charged and packing was to be provided. After explaining this, I was looked at by the reps like I was crazy and they said they don't do that. I proceeded to show them the email and they "tried" the instructions and low and behold it is a program that they participate in. They then proceeded to demand I have to pay for packing and shipping. When This program is specifically for employers to get their equipment back at no cost to the employee. They continued to roll their eyes at me and say" oh my god this is a clusterfuck" and sigh and make me feel very unwelcome and like I was a burden to them for coming in. Then, they couldn't get only one label to print out and they were too lazy to just send things separately. I asked them to call their ups tech support if they needed help generating a label and they refused and told me I had to call because I was the customer. So me the customer called THEIR tech support for THEIR computer system. The tech knew the program I was talking about and tried to walk the reps thru it. This got me nowhere and they wouldn't let me leave because they didn't know how they should pack it and who was paying for it. I eventually demanded my items back and the man just rolled his eyes and said "gladly" and slammed my stuff on the counter. Idk who needs to talk to them but this behavior isn't ok. I'm never coming back here and I'm sure they are glad I won't because I'm too much of a hassle to help. read more

Had a small package to be mailed. Size of a small hardbound book. Portland to Boise ID. $23+ to be sent. Went to the post office - $7ish to send - same delivery speed. They fleece customers with over pricing - clerk tried to tell me it was because the area was possibly rural, nope, it was to a college apartment complex. I have to wonder what else they are over charging for? Pretty bad. read more

Really bad and arrogant staff especially the tall and bald guy . had to return a package had a ups label which was lost so I asked the guy to print one to stick on the package with the tracking no provided to which he just bluntly directed me to call ups when I was already in one . Regretfully I must recommend do not use this store for anything other than mailing. I had a rush project for 60 pages of scanning, the staff did not know how to scan double-sided, and the fees about blew my head off! 50 cents a page is what I ended up paying, plus copying because they couldn't scan double-sided, total bill - $35.60! I just looked up another store and the fees quoted were 7-12 cents per page! OMG I was robbed! read more
