After reading several negative reviews on UPS stores, I have to add a positive one about the local store near Walker and 158th in Beaverton. I have a mail box there as I travel quite a bit and find it very useful. My mail tended to pile up in my home mailbox and I'd lost some important mail. Having the box which is available 24/7 is a good way of safeguarding my mail. While I can't say they run a copy center there, it is a good place to make one or two copies of things, to ship parcels from and handle the basic home style features those of us who dont work need infrequently. The owner and workers are always helpful-I'd noticed that a weekly newspaper I receive was getting ripped and asked them to hold it out of my box instead of stuffing it in-and they were happy to do it. These guys work hard to have a pleasant place where I can send a fax, make a copy and ship packages. Thats their job-it's what they do and they do it nicely. read more

Has this location been sold recently? All new people that are both rude and disorganized. Update: UPS store replied to this review and asked me to email them. Hilarious. I've seen who I presume is the new owner getting angry with two customers: telling them they are wrong, telling them their business isn't welcome, telling them they weren't responsible for lost packages. And you expect me to email you? To what end? So you can drop me as a customer too? Get out. Sell the company to somebody else. You've already burned so many bridges just days after taking over. read more

Where did Shelby go? I need to move my post mailbox to her location! Since the new ownership, this location has lost my package, had it returned after another customer opened it and drove it back to the store, and 2 weeks later scanned codes in error, and asked me to sign for 4 packages when 3 were packages and then said the last one was an error. When they lost my package, I asked them to revert my signature pickup. They said they did, but when I went to sign for the opened package, the employee said, "Oh, I didn't actually change it back." I haven't had as good of service since the new ownership, as the owner doesn't even know how to do things. The staff 6 months ago was far more knowledgeable and not as careless. And far, FAR friendlier as if they've worked in customer service before. The employee I got today was not very friendly, and also didn't ask me to sign that I picked things up. When this happens I get charged a storage fee, which is not something I had to do before the turnover. The new owner has also told me not to come so late in the day when I am there before 6pm (their closing time). If they mean don't come after 5:45pm, then they should write 5:45pm is closing time in their hours of operation. Things take 10x longer than they did before, which is probably why he told me that. I have seen the line all the way out to the door, and prior to the new ownership there were 2 people in line, max. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I had been a happy customer of this store for years under the previous ownership, which is why I prepaid for an entire year of service. Unfortunately everything changed the moment the new owner, Ashwan, took over. On his very first day as owner, a package worth nearly $1,000 went missing. While I was obviously upset, I stayed calm and understood mistakes can happen. What shocked me was his response. He straight up told me it was "not his responsibility or problem" because he had just taken ownership of the store. A few days later, after seeing other reviews mentioning packages going missing under the new ownership, I realized I still had more valuable packages there and rushed over after work to pick them up. I arrived exactly at 6:00 PM and instead of showing even basic courtesy or professionalism, he refused to let me grab my packages because the store was "closed." Considering they had already lost a major package of mine, any decent owner would've taken 30 seconds to open the door and help the customer protect their property. Instead he chose arrogance and disrespect. A few minutes later when he left the store, I confronted him about refusing to let me retrieve my packages and documented the interaction outside the storefront. The following day he handed me a termination letter banning me from the business and told me he would no longer speak to me regarding anything related to the store. On top of that, he refused to refund the prepaid yearly service I had already paid for. So besides being rude, incompetent, and completely unprofessional, he's apparently also a thief, keeping money for services he refuses to provide. DO NOT USE THIS STORE EVER! read more

I'm not one to do this but this ups location lost my expensive package!! They didn't scan it in and when asked for any sort of help like looking at the cameras with time stamps or asking the owner to and just let us know she denied!!! She's only available at certain times so my partner took off work to talk to her and ask for help she was so rude wouldn't help us in any sort of the manor just denied everything. Worst UPS store in the area. Wesley Kant is so incompetent and has no idea what he is doing. Maybe this will be a location that gets shut down? Wanted a form notarized. Stood in the line that went out the door. When it was finally my turn, he told me i would have to wait until the 10 people behind me were helped. Why? I waited my turn. Waited for him to be rude to dozens of other customers. It was my turn and was super easy. 1 form. 1 signature. Then, when the line was gone, he then pretended like we never met and asked "what can i do for you?" Seriously dude? You told me to stand aside for 35 mins while you wanted to answer phones and help people who just walked in. Another person walked in and he left me while I was making my signature - violating his oath! Super grumpy store. After going to the other location near home that looks like a shoe box compared to this the service and attitude is night and day. The store had 2 people behind the counter. The gentleman was doing something, the lady just slumped over not doing anything. I walked up to the counter with a huge package, clearly visible. No greeting. Yeah what do you need? I have a package. Show her the label already on it. Oh, is all I get. She scans it and hands me a receipt. That's it. No goodbye nothing I've been dismissed. This UPS must mistakenly assume that Amazon Prime clients asked them a favor to return products. Amazon is the major client of UPS. Billion dollars deal. My delivery man know that and always extremely nice. I do returns from times to times and that's part of paying Prime membership. I returned a book today. It was unknown repeated order. So I was overly careful hold it in the original shipping box. I want it to go back same good condition. I know I don't need label or box but as soon as I approached the counter the UPS gal yelled at me that WE DON'T RECYCLE BOX! Right. Wrong in every level: 1. yelled at me who been loyal to this kind of online business for over a decade. Like it or not you serve thousand of us a day and that's major part of your daily job. 2. business ethical. You do shipping, shippings need box. What's so wrong to label on the top of the old label... wallah! magic! just like the box you would pull out from the shelf. 3. the original box would saving the condition of the return product, rather than trash it in front of my eyes. I carried out the little cardboard box puzzling what's wrong with this world. I'm glad my kiddo isn't there with me I really don't know how to explain any sense of it. Sad story of my errands. Not the stores fault but the man working there wasn't helpful. I asked to send a check "overnight" to Toledo Oregon, 125 miles away. He told me not necessary to send overnight as it will get there by ground in 1 day. Sent through UPS, it was mis-scanned and sent to Kentucky! Transit info on UPS.com and by phone has not been updated for 4 days ! They tell. Me it will arrive Wednesday afternoon, 8 days after I mailed it. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Really lousy service. I paid over $95 for them to box and ship and iMac 27" and the UPS delivered a totally destroyed box to my daughter. I sold an item on ebay that would fit in a box 25"x25"x12" and weighed approx 7 lbs. When it sold, to a person in Phoenix, AZ, I took it to this ups store and asked for the cost to box and ship it, cheapest way. They quoted me $80 (incl. $12 to box) for UPS and over $90 for USPS. Both would go regular ground and parcel post, respectively, and take a week to get there. Needless to say, I left the premises with my item. I then drove to Home Depot and bought a large box that I cut to size, for $5. Then drove to the post office in Beaverton and shipped it for $17. No kidding! Yesterday, I visited the the UPS drop off in Tualatin (not a UPS store - actually UPS) and told them what happened. They laughed and said there is a HUGE markup on shipments taken by UPS stores - all are owned and operated by middle men. They then quoted me approx $17 for UPS shipping, after I gave them the size and weight. Bottom line, the UPS store, at least the one on Walker (I'll never go back to any of their locations), is a total Rip-Off. read more

Paid 48.00 for overnight delivery of a letter. It's 3 days later and the letter is in Kentucky, not in Seattle! Was told they don't give refunds! I trusted them . Was told "78.00 for the letter to be there by 6 am or 48.00 by noon! I should have used the postal service. Would have cost under a dollar and it also would be there by now! This place was kind at first and seemed helpful; but wow. I paid for my package to be sent off to a friend in Michigan after the holidays. The receipt read that the package would be delivered within the dates of 26th-27th of December. I sent this package off on the 20th. It is the second of January and my package has still not been delivered to my friend. It's crazy! Not to mention expensive and not getting to the destination on time! Ridiculous. I used this store as a UPS My Choice Access Point delivery, but the store refused the delivery and it got shipped back to the sender. The retailer will refund me for my items, but not the shipping costs. I'm out those. Will not use this store again. read more

Really wish I read the reviews of this clown show store and owner before I popped in, especially Zee's (the UPS guy is a greedy, smug liar). Like the others, needed to print something in a pinch. $2.75 for a single page of black and white text. $2.50 of which is the privilege of inserting your USB into the computer in the empty store (gee, I wonder why it's empty?). Their business model is clearly nickel and dime. They don't have a USB reader on the printer like FedEx Kinkos. They charge $2.50 to put a USB drive into their computer and hit print. That is not a typo, $2.50 to place a USB drive into a computer, open a document, and hit print. They don't clearly advertise or tell you that cost. The single page is $0.25 which is more than 2x Kinkos per page. I found out it cost me $2.75 for one page of black and white printing as I checked out. The guy was a dick, too. FedEx Kinkos is better in all aspects, and the people working there have always been cool. Never again. read more

$1.00 PER PAGE TO SCAN A DOCUMENT! Unfortunately, I was in a rush and had to get a 40 page document emailed asap. What a rip-off. Definitely not coming back here ever again. SIDE NOTE: Because I was curious, I called Fedex to ask how much they charge to scan documents. It is $0.89/page, however they offer a discounted rate depending on how many pages you have. They would have lowered my rate to $0.49/page, basically half of what UPS was charging me. Still way more than I would like to spend for such a simple task, but at least they charge u less. I'm a little surprised that their reviews aren't better. I have a PO box there and ship items from this location around once or twice a month and the owner and staff have always been very kind and helpful. I've forgotten my PO box keys multiple times and they always help me get my mail. I highly recommend this location. read more

I tried to use the online print job service for an important print job needed by that evening. After uploading a series of PDF documents around 4:00 AM, I was given confirmation the job would be ready before 3:00 PM Saturday and I would be notified by by email when ready. After not receiving any notification by 3:30 PM I contacted the toll free number on the confirmation. The representative contacted the store to find out the job was simply set aside (ignored) until Monday because only the manager could access the job. Apparently, they did not intend to advise me of this fact. After a bunch of back and forth over 45 minutes or so, I was told they would try and call the manager to access the job. At this point I was out of time and was already rushing to FEDEX with a thumb drive to do it myself before the store closed. This event coupled with two other experiences makes it clear the location is broken. read more

I dropped off a small parcel at this location and it appeared on my doorstep the next day covered in a myriad of stickers ranging from GROUND TRANSPORATION ONLY, to SECURITY RISK to INSUFFICIENT POSTAGE and more. Not only an inconvenience, I measured it on my scale and referenced the proper sources and it was confirmed to be A OK by USPS. This place is very unhelpful. I dropped off an international package yesterday morning around 8am. The sales associate helped me through the process and said that everything was ready to go. She could not give me a price or when it would receive because it was going through the recipient's UPS number, I guess this is a UPS problem though. I received a call at 6pm the same day that my package would not be going out because it was missing paperwork. The lady who called me was very unhelpful, I tried repeatedly to ask her what went wrong and she told me that I was missing an invoice (which she also said was the customs form?). I told her that I would come in and get it sorted in the morning. 8am the next day and I was basically told to go home and fill out the invoice or I could pay to "rent" their computer and pay for the invoices I printed off. I took my box and went to Cedar Hills. They were incredibly helpful! Don't waste your time. read more
