I'm constantly mailing or shipping packages and PostalAnnex is always my go to. I have been using them for over four years and have always received excellent customer service. When you enter the front door, you are always greeted and quickly helped. PostalAnnex is a family owned and operated business. Ken, is the friendly dad of the operation who employees son-in-law's and daughters. I always look for Brandon because he knows me by name (even with a mask on)! Shipping from here is made easier when you ship to the same addresses often. Those are stored in a secure system under your name (like your own personalized address book) so it's quick and easy to send subsequent packages. You do pay slightly more per services than if you go to the post office directly, but the customer service, and timely delivery of packages is worth it to me. read more

Been here twice to process shipping. There is a gentlemen ( he maybe leadership in this franchise) within this team with very poor customer service. Was very rude to another team member who was helping us. The 1st time we went, the gentleman assured us he was going to take care of sealing the packaging, as part of his protocols. The recipients of this order flagged us that the envelope arrived empty. When confronted he just shrugged his shoulder and asked us to issue a claim with UPS. The 2nd time we went another team member was helping us we were issuing 2 shipments. The team member (a young woman) was helping us and was very helpful processed the 1st shipment correctly, the second produced an error message on the address, nothing mayor just a typo (1001 to 1010). Something that could have been fixed with a click-click-tab-tab-enter no problem. This gentlemen hovered over her shoulder and saw that there was an error message. He pushed the woman out of the way (made a snide comment in her direction - underneath his breath). Proceeded to void the entire shipment we already had set up with the other team member. Realized that he had messed up and blamed the team member for not letting him know... (she did, but MR I'm The Smartest Man In The ROOM didnt listen) Poor woman turned red from embarrassment and we were ashamed that she was treated so abrasively in-front of patrons. Dont recommend this place. Good News: Voyager is open again so its just better the service in Mail Stop Market down the street. read more

Quick, efficient and knowledgeable - went there on a Saturday AM, where I was surprised to see they were open despite being a few minutes before stated business hours. Very friendly and informed staff able to help with mailing UPS package and provide needed documentation as such. Store is filled with usual accoutrements of mailing as well as some cute extras, from calendars to tchotchkes. Well run store. read more

One of the worst post experiences I have had shipping anything. Very very poor communication between staff members and with me. I went in last week and asked for packaging and shipping advice for shipping a large painting as I had never done so before. I told them the dimensions of the painting and the weight and they used that info to create an estimate for packing supplies and shipping costs. I figured the employee was competent enough to estimate the size of the box with materials based on the dimensions provided. That was not the case at all. I quoted my client this estimate. Days later I brought the item in to be boxed and shipped. I let them know my preferred shipping carrier of DHL, as I was previously advised that was the fastest for a nominal price difference compared to the next lowest. My preference was very clearly communicated and I watched him write it down on a post-it note. I receive a call later that afternoon that based on the box they created - the price to ship was double what they quoted me and that there wasn't a large gap in the price between carries. I was pretty upset about this, but thought I would eat the cost (I already provided their estimate to my client and did not want to go back with it now double!) So, I paid the EXTRA $300 knowing it was worth it for it to be there at the event despite the price gauge. They also doubled the price they quoted me for packing materials from ~$20 to $40. It was never communicated to me that the weight of my item didn't matter and the carrier would assume 5 TIMES the weight based on the box size they created. My 5lb painting + 5lbs of materials is now estimated at almost 60lbs being shipped???? I paid so it would arrive on Wednesday. At this point my options were limited. I was not emailed the receipt as they said they would last night, yes I checked my junk folder. I emailed them last evening asking for a receipt and tracking info and they did not email me back. This morning I had to go physically into the store to get my receipt. This is when I found out that they sent the package out on a carrier I did not select! I absolutely never asked for UPS shipping. This was not communicated to me AT ALL when he called. Apparently they took the liberty to choose the hardly "less expensive" carrier and now it won't arrive until Monday - five days later than they told me in the store that morning. The item will no longer be there for the event. If I had ANY idea it was arriving Monday when he called me with the $550 total I would have without a doubt picked it up and shipped it elsewhere. This experience has been extremely poor and cost me thousands of potential dollars in art sales since it will not be there for the event. VERY, VERY UNHAPPY. - Shay read more
