California state probate code section 4128 clearly states that a Power of Attorney document can be signed by two witnesses (versus being notarized) but apparently this guy doesn't care about that or maybe he enjoys wasting people's time? Not sure! Here's an excerpt for you, buddy: This durable power of attorney must be dated and must be acknowledged before a notary public or signed by two witnesses. If it is signed by two witnesses, they must witness either (1) the signing of the power of attorney or (2) the principal's signing or acknowledgment of his or her signature. A durable power of attorney that may affect real property should be acknowledged before a notary public so that it may easily be recorded. Excellent hours for notary svcs. This place is Affordable & very quick, efficient and kind.

Clerk mislabeled my package so it was sent to the totally wrong state and an address that wasn't even close to where my package was supposed to go. I purchased insurance as the contents were quite valuable. I am told that because it was delivered to the address in the package and signed for that insurance will not pay. Postal Annex should pay me as they are the ones who mislabeled it in the first place. read more

For some, this place is very convenient and meets all their needs. If you plan to go only M-Sa during daytime hours, not before or after work or on Sundays, and if you go in maybe 3 times a week to see if you have packages so they don't stay in the place for more than two days, then this could be for you. You're not going to get notifications when packages arrive, and so you have to show up every couple of days or risk angering Rick. If this is right for you, though, it's cheap and you should go for it. If you need to check your mail in the evening or on Sundays and if you need notifications that you have received packages or if you travel and need your mail to be held for a week or two, this is definitely not for you. Spend a few extra bucks to rent a box at a place that has more convenient hours, package notifications, and a willingness to hold mail and packages if you're out of town. Assess your specific needs by listing them precisely and don't let yourself be swayed by the price. Some people feel that Rick is more respectful to men than to women, but if your needs match his hours and services, you probably won't run into that. Just be honest with yourself about your needs and pick the place that is already meeting the same needs for other people. read more

The tape cost me $9.00 (everywhere else it's around $5.00, and he charged me $11.89 to send the package. I left there feeling as if I had been robbed. Will not go there again. Avoid this location. Rick OVER CHARGES for live scans. You will also be there for over an hour for a service that should take 5mins. I went to the postal annex in bonsall and was in and out in 5mins and charged $40 less than what Rick was charging me for the exact live scan service. read more

Do not frequent this store!!!! Yesterday, I wanted to mail a package 2 day mail. The package was not more than a foot long. The manager told me that it would cost about $30 for 2 day mail. If I wanted a 2 day mail which was assured in getting to my destination on time, it would be around $55! I decided not to use their service and the guy charged me $13 for a mailing box!! What a rip!!! I went to USPS and mailed off my package 2 day mail for $10!!! read more

The holidays are always a hectic time to mail packages. This year I decided to forgo the chaos at the post office and mail my packages at the local PostalAnnex. Later hours, less people - what could be the problem? I mailed three packages - all under 3 lbs to Northern Ca and Northern Va - and I was shocked when the total came to $77 AND the staff member said he "couldn't guarantee they would arrive by Christmas." I would have walked away, but my present were already sealed in packing tape in their PostalAnnex boxes. Later, the final kicker was when I learned that my mom went to the post office two days after me and mailed 7 packages all over the US for $57 and they were guaranteed to arrive by Christmas. Lesson learned: I will never mail my holiday packages anywhere but the post office...even if there are killer lines and lots of people. read more

First of all let me explain why I started using this store. I had a really horrible experience using the local UPS store and I had to look elsewhere for my shipping services and Im really glad I did. The customer service here is so much better. It is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but it is definitely a lot better than what you get at the UPS store in Fallbrook. I do wish the owner and employees here would greet me more often when arriving to the location and thats about the only complaint I have with them. Other than that, I have just walked in and dropped my items off and left and never once had a issue with packages not being sent out. I went into this store on a quiet weekday morning. A feckless, churlish little man stood past the counter fumbling with a large box, into which he was trying (with little success) to pack a framed poster. After a few minutes of no eye contact, eventually he mumbles, "I'll be with you in a minute. I'm working on something for another customer. She was here first." I looked around, but didn't see anyone else in the store. Eventually, a woman came into the store. Apparently she was the customer. Several more minutes pass. He gives no indication of how long this task might take. I decided to expend no further time or energy here. I went to the UPS Store, where I got immediate, competent service. Good: Friendly personal. Not so good: Prices are high, but you pay for convenience. You can't access your mailbox after hours. Many times the hours are cut short you drive up during posted hours and you find a note on the door that hours have been changed for the day. Will move my box after lease expires. read more
