I discovered this postal annex location about a month ago. I peeked in and it looked clean, organized and there wasn't a crazy line like at the post office or UPS store. I've used them about 4 times already since for printing out school projects, purchasing shipping supplies and shipping Christmas gifts. All the staff that have helped me are super friendly and very helpful. I needed a poster tube for shipping but they were out. The gentleman (I'm so sorry I forgot his name) ordered one for me and it came in the next day! When I shipped out my Christmas gifts he took the time to explain all the options and which were most cost effective. He also packed one of my items in the smallest box possible to save on shipping. Wow. How conveniently located. I left the post office without paying their ridiculous $125 fee for shipping a sizeable box (16" x 19") that only weighed about 7 pounds. Turning my head, I saw this new Postal Annex practically next door. I am so glad I went in seeking help. They bent over backwards to help me, showing me in detail how different dimensions affect the cost of shipping (different package sizes). They educated me how nowadays the dimensions are as relevant as the weight when it comes to shipping price. They removed my box-within-a-box and re-wrapped the inner box using sturdy brown shipping paper, dropping my shipping price to $36. I highly recommend this facility. I will definitely be coming back whenever I need help with packaging or shipping my own items. read more
