Ok, this place is cool! DJ friend of mine was in town from Vegas and stumbled across this place with his parents. Knowing he could spend significant time there, the two of us came back the next day. So many fun posters! Some with a hefty price tag (I'm looking at you South Park themed Ween poster I wish I could have) but many more reasonably priced. Friend got a couple new additions for display in his music room. I unexpectedly loved a Big Gigantic poster. It was more than I was willing to spend, but I found a smaller less expensive version on BG's website. Along with concert posters they have movie & Colorado-themed posters. Also have albums for sale. Worth browsing if you're into all that.

Posters, stickers, records.. good people. $3.00 minimum on Credit/Debit cards. I saw everything from Music, comics, movies, cartoons, slogans, records.. an entire emporium of paper-beauties. I saw bumper stickers for cars such as Angelica from the Rutgers 1999 television show. This is such a college thing and in the middle of a college town, so I expected to see lots of millennials get their hands on some cool products here. Way to support small businesses. $35-100$ on all posters and jumbo size too. There are constant discounts being implemented and that's really cool. I really like their taste on selection. It's not a whoopie-dee-doo cliche of posters from just anything! They have literally made my day. I do love it

Never been inside a post store before. But, they had really cool stuff not just posters, but also records. Since I have never bought a record I had to find the right one. Sifting through crates, I finally found the perfect one. The Beatles - Hey Jude. The ship is clean and well kept. I used to collect posters, but now don't have the wall space at home. Guy at check out was calm and friendly. Since I'm not sure how much records cost, I felt it was it was a bit much. But, I could be wrong. I'm happy that I found what I wanted and now can enjoy at home.

But I know a few who do and wanted to check out this collection. I was created immediately by staff and we had a short and funny chat as like me, about 30 years ago, at the advent of the CD, we bought the new equipment and let go of most of our. Collections of records . In retrospect maybe premature as they are back. But I'm satisfied with what I have now but value the choices of others with room and time for both. If you are looking for something specific they likely have it here unless extremely obscure. The selection was huge and better organized than many similar retro music stores that I have seen in other cities. These seemed in very good condition though they have random bins of more worn items in the bargain bins on the sidewalk. Go take a look if you have equipment and if not, they may have what you need here too. The staff person told me so but I did not have time to look.

We found our way to Pearl Street mall and asked some shoppers where we could find a dessert place. Apparently Boulder people only eat salads so we were on our own. We walked a few blocks deep into the mall and didn't find anything so we headed back to the car. On a whim we walked past our car to the next intersection to see if there was some dessert place there. The only sweet place we came across was Paradise Found Records. I collect old vinyl and I'll usually stop into a record store to see if they have anything from my wish list. Sean, a bearded, long-haired music aficionado asked if he could help me find anything. I opened up the list on my phone and read off the first one. He went straight to the album and proudly showed it to me. I was shocked. These albums are still on my wish list because they are impossible to find. I named the next one. He walked like a man on a mission and quickly found that one also! He knew exactly where these antique titles were as if he was digging through his own record collection! I was elated, but a little suspicious. Do they have these albums because they're so expensive no one is buying them? I flipped the album over to see the price. SIX DOLLARS! That is unheard of! Years ago used vinyl albums in decent condition were going for $12 and the prices have just gone up from there. Recently I bought a used album for $18. I listened to all the albums as soon as we got home and they sounded great. Oh, why don't we live in Boulder?!

This is more of a local tip how to approach this subterrane, book-nook to best take advantage of…read moreits unique attributes/offerings vs. a review of a visit experience. First, the long-time proprietor (Tom) is an absolute/hard-earned expert in everything in the store - its items, authors, history, even curious, connected idiosyncronies of stories galore, many personal connections. That includes books, old magazines, records/CD and their place in history. Sure, much might be opinion, but all quite well-informed. The recommendation here is not to wander aimlessly to quick overwhelming but isolate a certain subject matter or media type of interest and ask for recommendations to find your gem(s) and feel good about the hunt as you leave with them. Second, this is a very small, private-ownership establishment and not a large, corp chain like B&N, It is run a certain way (it appears disorganized but is really not), has some respecting rules (don't bring in drinks or be a clueless dufus and take a photo of a book you like and shop it cheaper elsewhere) and relies on genuine, curious, vintage-loving customers to support this old-fashioned but charming type of store. It is really for serious vintage-hunters, not so much (or room for) random museum lookers. Sooo, not the place to buy the latest releases for less. Just saying so you know the (sub-)terrain here. Last, even if you become even a one-time customer, the purchase and interaction will be sincerely and deeply appreciated by one of the most-engaging store owners you will ever meet and exchange stories with for way longer than you would think Tom can keep the stories and wisdom quippets coming.

I personally thought the records were all easy listening but the atmosphere was cozy, if not cluttered. No effort to sell the item or even talk further about it. Leaving the store later, I said thank you but he couldn't be bothered to look up. I won't be coming back purely based on his attitude. I wish the space the best but it was extremely cluttered and selection seemed mild at best.

My wife and I were enjoying a nice walk around town and as soon as I saw a record store (in this tiny town, no less) I knew I had hit the jackpot. It's a small shop, though it packs a punch. They were undergoing some maneuvering and restocking on this particular day, so they have an even larger more robust collection than what I happened to see. I always let the record store guide me to ear porn enlightenment. I enjoy many genres of music, but when I visit a shop I read the room and let the music do the talking. Which led me to the reissued release of High On Fire's "Art of Self Defense' a cult classic in the stoner metal realm. Picked it up and bought it on the spot. The employee was super kind and down to earth. I spent a good chunk of time sifting through records, but knew my wife would kill me if I spent too much time in there. Now I get to add a wonderful record store to my Nederland excursions. Consider me a happy camper!
