Postino is the perfect after-work spot if you're looking to unwind in a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and inviting, with a trendy but comfortable vibe for catching up with friends as it is for a casual date night. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. We has the Shrimp Scampi, the Bruschetta Board (4 selections) for the table and the Roasted Mushroom Fondue and they did not disappoint. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the dish was light, buttery, and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. To drink, I ordered the Mockingbird mocktail. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and a delicious non-alcoholic option that complemented everything. Overall, Postino delivered on both the food and the experience. I'll definitely be back!

The bruschetta board and the pub board with fondue are great for sharing also the humus board is a must so once you've shared your boards and fought over the last apple bruschetta try all the beverages you can't miss with any of them. Party of 5 or more try and sit at the sofas it's comfortable and stands up against some of the best ultra lounges in the nation. If your like me don't share this spot with just anyone. It's a hidden treasure nestled in the heart of Tempe near nice shopping and desert shops to don't forget to validate your parking and Cheers.

Postino is a wonderful restaurant option if you love wine, bread, and cheese. I typically avoid alcohol, gluten, and dairy, so it's really not the best option for me personally. Our server did offer to accommodate my diet and I tried a mocktail, a deconstructed sandwich with no cheese or bread (they do offer a gluten-free bread option but I don't personally care for it), and a salad with no dairy. I really appreciate the willingness to accommodate and that meant so much to me. But the quality of the food was very average. The grilled chicken was incredibly bland and tasted not very fresh. I really didn't enjoy my meal and probably wouldn't return to Postinounless I planned to eat bread and cheese because that's really where they shine.

This is Postino's Tempe location near ASU campus. I have stopped in here a few times. Postino WineCafe is known for their large variety of wines and bruschetta boards. Because it was spring time, I started off with a Holly's Way Chardonnay and some olives. Some of my usual bruschetta choices include Brie, Apple & Fig, Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil, Burrata, Bacon, Arugula & Tomato and Salami & Pesto. I came here with a friend recently. We took advantage of the $6 happy hour glasses of wine and ended up hanging out for a while. We ordered the chicken skewers and enjoyed it. Btw.. you have to try the Olive Oil Cake. It is really good. Postino has locations in a number of states now. They've really grown since opening their first location on 40th Street and Campbell over 20 years ago. I love how majority of their locations are in old rustic buildings that have been restored. This location has a nice shaded outdoor patio. Postino gained popularity with their Mon/Tues bottle and board nights. They recently just started up their Wine Cult subscription where you get a select bottle of wines quarterly and special discounts if you sign up. Parking here at the Tempe location is metered parking around the area. If you like the music you hear at Postino, they have a playlist on Spotify.

Great service where everyone who serviced my table was all smiles and friendly. They frequently checked on my table to make sure we were good. I got the CHEF'S CHARCUTERIE board which was refreshingly light. Everything on the board was so tastey, but I especially loved the olives and whipped feta. Then there was dessert. Mmm...warm donut holes with three dipping sauces salted butter chocolate, caramel, and vanilla glaze. Excellent!

My boyfriend and I went to Postino in Tempe before catching a movie and loved everything we ate and drank. Our server said she was new, but gave us amazing wine recommendations that we loved; if you love sweet wine, get the moscato! We also split a board and a nine iron sandwich which were all delicious. The nine iron is my favorite sandwich here! We went at 4:30pm and got to have $6 glasses of wine before 5pm which was great! The place itself wasn't packed like usual, I'm assuming because ASU is on break, which made us have a speedy service. We sat inside and our table was great, away from the noise so we could talk but still enjoying the great weather outside with the doors open.

First time going to Postino for lunch and not their board and bottle deal (if you haven't done before, highly recommend). Got the select two with an Italian Beef Dip sandwich and Cesar Salad, great portion for lunch. They have many locations across the valley so I would highly recommend going if you get the chance!

The chicken tenders were fire!!! What is lacking on this occasion was service. The server that we had was so unattentative. I have never been in a cocktail lounge in my life and had to beg for drinks. Our server would wait until every drinks was made for all of her tables before bringing out drinks. It was ridiculous. She was nice but seemed high. I ended up only having 2 drinks. We would have ordered more but they have 90min max seating and we didn't event get drinks for the first 30min. No exaggeration. Also one of my drinks I had to send back. My apple martini tasted like soap. It was like they did clean the glass after giving a soap bath. No bueno. So they need to get their service to match the vibe of a true cocktails lounge. Yes it is a 70s vibe but doesn't mean the lackadaisical style service. I would come back and try again. The music, the atmosphere and the food was good. They gotta get these cocktails together and service. We ended up walking to nearby competitors and that was money lost for DDG.

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with modern décor and an open kitchen that immediately creates excitement about what's coming to the table. The lamb chops were beautifully presented and cooked exactly as requested. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with rich, natural flavor. The exterior had a satisfying caramelized crust while the inside remained wonderfully succulent. The accompanying sides complemented the dish perfectly, adding fresh textures and flavors that balanced the richness of the meat. Every component on the plate felt carefully considered, making the entire meal feel complete rather than simply centered around the main protein. The service throughout the evening was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. The most recent was…read moreon a Thursday night around 10:30 p.m. This speakeasy is located on Mill Ave., the center of Tempe's party scene. Because of its location, parking isn't easy. If you're looking for free parking, you're going to have a long walk. Outside of that, you'll have to pay for parking in a garage or metered street parking. Ambiance (4/5): Hint hint. Idle Hands is located inside Devil's Hideaway. A true speakeasy shouldn't have signage outside indicating its location. Unfortunately, there's a sign for Idle Hands outside of Devil's Hideaway which takes away the sense of mystery and intrigue that a true speakeasy provides. Outside of this hiccup, it's a cool speakeasy. It's intimate, with 10 or so seats at the bar and about 10 seats in booths facing the bar. There's a projector screen behind the bar that had mystical motion graphics the first time I stopped by (thinking wizards) and Halloween motion graphics the second time (with it being a day before the holiday). There were some other Halloween decorations up. The only area of improvement? The music often doesn't match the vibe. A lot of the music they were playing on my last visit was Irish music that would be fitting for a pub. Service (4/5): I had the same bartender each time. He knows how to make a good drink and is pretty efficient. When you close out, he only gives you the merchant copy. Which is a pet peeve of mine. Let me get that customer copy too. But overall, a good experience. Especially at a college bar. Food (N/A): I've only had drinks both times. Idle Hands actually doesn't have food, but Devil's Hideaway does. And you're allowed to bring food from there into the speakeasy. Drinks (4.5/5): It's pretty surprising to see a speakeasy on a college campus. I was impressed with the creativity of the menu, both in terms of the ingredients used and the fusion of flavors. I've had a different cocktail each time, and they've all been great. My favorite was one served in a box filled with smoke. Talk about a cool presentation! The hallmarks of a solid speakeasy are elevated cocktails, nice ambiance (dimly lit), an intimate space, and mystery/intrigue. While the intrigue is lacking at Idle Hands, and the music can be improved, they hit it out of the park in the other areas. One of my favorite speakeasies I've been to in Phoenix (and surrounding areas). I am, after all, the self-appointed king of speakeasies. The king gives his stamp of approval.

Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.
