This was an interesting experience. Our waitress was unfriendly and unenthusiastic, which kind of ruined the whole experience. She was not attentive to our table, did not refill our drinks. She actually didn't do anything other than take our order - different people had brought our food/drinks. The manager (we didn't know he was the manager at the time) brought out our food and asked us if we needed anything/was very nice. At the end of the meal we spoke with him again to thank him for his attentiveness. We had expressed our concern with the experience and he was respectful about the feedback. He ended up comping our bottle of wine that we got. The food was yummy, I really liked the sauce that came with the fries idek what it was called but it was amazing. Postino is the Best restaurant in Arizona for bruschetta board! I have been going to many Postino locations for many years. The food quality is always consistent and delicious. I got the Board: prosciutto, burrata, fig & apple, boquerones. Out of the 4, the Burrata & tomato is my favorite. The tomato is soooo juicy and flavorful. I wish I can just order a bowl of just these tomatoes. Fig & Apple is such a wonderful combo giving a refreshing "dessert" taste with the crisp from apple and sweetness from fig. The brussel sprout salad was delicious! Crunchy and refreshing. The Tuscan tuna was so good as well, the tuna was warm and other spices in there complement the tuna very well. I love this place. By far the best vibe in the valley! They have the best patio with misters and are dog friendly! This is the type of place you can come with a bunch a people or on a date and the goal is to get all the snacks! SNACKS on SNACKS on SNACKS! You can't go wrong with anything here! However, even though the food was good, we were very disappointed in the service, which made the overall experience alright. I haven't been here in a long time and it's close to my house. Decided to come with a friend for their bottle and board special ! It was pretty busy when we arrived. We waited about 30-40 mins for our table. We got sat outside on the patio. Thought it wouldve been too hot but there was a lot of misters outside and it made it cool enough. We shared a bottle and board. We got a bottle of the Cabernet. We didn't get wine glasses for the wine, I'm guessing their ran out. That was a bummer. We just had regular water glasses for our wine. Only ever dined in at Postino during brunch but I have to say the hot donut dots and the classic remix are both divine! The soft, fluffy donuts are a hit and the caramel dipping sauce I could drink by the glass full! The classic remix has the fluffiest eggs, the crispiest tots and the bacon is cooked to perfection! The aperol spritz is also wonderful if you're in the mood for a cocktail! If you stop in for dinner, I highly recommend the prosciutto and brie panini or the salmon board. The sandwich is grilled to perfection and has the best salty sweet combo from the prosciutto and fig jam. The salmon board is a great, light bite. Refreshing and delicious with a great mix of mini Cesar salad, crusty bread with feta and salmon and perfectly crisp cucumbers and a punchy bite from pickled onions. Definitely old bread or toasted way too much but we all thought it was too hard. The waitress took our boards back and remade them but to be honest they weren't that much softer. This Postino location has better parking than my usual spot (on Campbell)! The service and food were consistently great though! I visited this location for a chill catch-up with a friend that lives in the east valley. We enjoyed the great weather on the patio and the $6 wine options. My friend had the simple greens salad with steak, and I had the sweet potatoes, because I was able to identify what is vegan on the menu before visiting. Everything was great, and our server gave us plenty of space for a lengthy catch-up without interruptions. I love the environment of Postino restaurants in general, but regret that they don't offer more vegan options by default. I know I can always get something good, like the sweet potatoes, and can get something customized. read more

The good: the menu is not too big and has great options, the combinations are eclectic with burrata - bacon and prosciutto - fig bruschetta that has a surprisingly good mix. If you come at a not so busy time with a group or want to just share this place is perfect. Not so good: I'd say the menu is a tad bit overpriced but the 3 stars mainly comes from the service, the past 3 out of 4 times I've been has not been so good, since the servers will mix around and you might have 3 people bringing and getting your request which makes it easy for a simple ask of a drink refill to not be granted as the server has been around to every table, and this makes the rating hard to put higher than 3 stars. What could they improve: maybe hiring more people would help around busy hours, when it gets busy that's usually when none of your request outside of food orders get granted at this Postinos. read more

The only negative about this particular location that I've experienced compared to other locations is the parking situation. It is tough. If you can ride share instead, do it. Each business in this strip mall has marked their parking and there is not enough parking for Postino patrons. I am thrilled that Postino has finally added hard liquor so you have a choice of a cocktail other than wine and beer. I ordered the OMG Grilled Cheese which is layered gruyere, whipped brie, goat cheese, white cheddar, smoked bacon, creamy tomato soup dip. The bread was very crispy which I love and the soup was salted just right. Tasty. My friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi that includes butter poached jumbo shrimp, artichoke, calabrian chili, chablis spritz, side of focaccia. She said it was cooked well. My other friend ordered the Italian Beef Dip. This is a roast beef Panini with melted brie, caramelized onions, garlic aioli, and au jus. It comes with a side salad. She said the bread was very crispy as well. I didn't catch our servers name but she was very pleasant. She was a little slow on bringing out our order, in fact she forgot our dessert but then brought us an additional dessert which was very nice. We were not in a hurry so it didn't bother us for slow service but since it was at lunch time during the week, it could be an issue for someone on a lunch break to take 3 hours for lunch service. read more

We sat outside in the patio and the string lights set a rustic tone. The food was, as always, so good. I got the PREAM bowl (avocado, chicken, broccoli, grains, etc.) and it was delicious. My only criticism is that I think the chicken could have been cooked a little longer. It was still good, and I love that I never get any of those gross chewy pieces of fat in the chicken here.
