Potbelly is a great place to go if you want an awesome, fresh, "honest" sandwich. I've been coming here for 20 years, having lived in Chicago since 2005 before moving to Cleveland. This is a Chicago company that I'm glad has landed in Cleveland. I was never a fan of Subway or any of those other places. Potbelly is different. How? Allow me to explain. First, I'll tell you what I usually get, then build from there. I love their turkey, Swiss, and avocado--my absolute fave. Their Italian "Wreck" is Ah-Mazing. The new prime rib is also excellent. For these sandwiches to work, you really need to start with fresh ingredients, or they'll be awful. After they come out of the oven, they add the avocado. I usually add the lettuce, onion, tomato, and a heaping helping of mayo and giardiniera or hot peppers. They're SO good. Their sandwiches are stuffed with ingredients, regardless of which size you get. The Skinny is filling; that's their smallest size. But wait, there's more! Their bagged chips are sui generis to Potbelly. I haven't even seen them sold in Chicago. But they pair perfectly with their sandwiches. Now, I recommend washing this all down with a bit of sweetness. Their Dream Bars are AH-MAZING. Grab one, even if you save it for later. I love them. I'm a big fan of their lemonade because I'm just sick of carbonated sodas. Folks, Clevelanders....it's worth your while to give this place an honest shot! Potbelly... bring back the PB&J! They had a new associate transfer from another location.This associate did not understand you could place a Mobile order and said she could not help me. The manager stepped up and clarified the communication that this was a new process they just instilled. She credited me a drink, cookies, and a chip, also, my sandwich was amazing. Went to Potbelly on a whim because there's limited options at the airport at 6am in the morning. The choice was ok...the breakfast sandwich has eggs, ham, and mushrooms. Wish it had more mushrooms and if they have hot sauce packets out. The amount of ham was too much and took away from all the other flavors. the prices are good for a large sandwich, but nothing stood out. It's an average breakfast for a good price. read more

During Covid-19 this Potbelly's is located by C-24 in Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. They are still operating and the open early. I've been pleasantly surprised each time I've come here with the cleanliness and the friendly service. I am not a big breakfast food fan. That being said you can order lunch anytime which is a big plus for me. The Mediterranean wrap is always delicious especially with the hot peppers that provide the right amount of kick and depth of flavor. The bread is perfectly toasted and even after waiting a bit to eat the wrap after I ordered it didn't get soggy. For coffee fans you can get coffee here as well. Just in case the lines at the other places in the airport are long. There usually aren't many people in line and the service is fast for the early morning departures. read more

Before the fly food is a must as you know you won't get anything on the plane as they just don't do that anymore and it's not like you ever wanted it before anyway so today it was all about the Potbelly to make it right! Coming here I wasn't sure what to expect but it's about lunchtime and a sandwich just sounded right and let me say it definitely was but this wasn't enjoyed right away as it was a pain to pay for it! As so it happens I'm that lucky customer that is trying to pay with a debit card and what happens next it declined it why you ask I haven't the slightest idea so me freaking out as to why this happened I call my bank to have them tell me everything is ok and that it should be working so I go back and tell them to try it again and same situation it just decided it then another guest comes to pay for hers and guess what same scenario again at this time they realize it's their system and then just tell me that I'm ok to not pay because of the inconvenience they caused me! So after the card struggle I was free to enjoy my turkey sandwich and I must say it was delicious very flavorful packed with everything a sandwich needs to be yummy as well as the extra hot peppers I asked for because that's always the best part so I was all about it! Besides the sandwich I also got a oatmeal chocolate chip cookie it too was super yummy and just hit the spot with that delicious turkey sandwich and I must say they turned a bad situation around and made it right for me right away! I like PSS especially in an airport settling where the food options are usually somewhat dismal. I stopped in to grab a breakfast sandwich just a few minutes before boarding my flight and I felt the service was friendly and efficient. I used an airline meal voucher to pay for my multi-grain bacon, egg and cheddar sandwich and bottle of smart water and it was a seamless transaction. I wish they offered a wrap option for breakfast but I understand their conveyor oven would likely turn a tortilla into a cracker so I guess there are valid reasons why they don't. When I arrived, there were several people in front of me all looking agitated. I chalked it up to being in an airport and being hurried to get to their flight. Then I noticed the two women working behind the counter working at a snails pace. One patron in front of me had their sandwich half way done but had to abandon their meal because it was just taking too long. When the would-be customer expressed they needed to catch their flight after waiting more than 10 minutes. The young woman behind the counter responded with "I hear you" and actually moved slower in an effort to be passive aggressive and show the customer who the boss was. I finally got my sandwich that was poorly made in a dirty cutting board and made by the sandwich artist (I use that term jokingly) who also just grabbed the edge of the garbage can. She was still moving super slow with a pouty, stern face and when I asked to pay, she instructed me to "wait by the counter for her". In the end I threw the sandwich away in fear of unsanitary conditions tainting the food. read more

It's one of, or if not, the best Italian sub I've ever had. And even for an airport location, you still can't beat the price in comparison to the competition. It's such a treat going to a Potbelly because they're not oversaturated, despite being a chain. It's like an In N Out Burger business model. I looked forward to my trip to the airport just to eat here when I had my flight scheduled for later in the evening. The fact they also have milkshakes (especially in an airport) just makes it that much greater. All in all, great place, great food, great milkshakes, and great service. Didn't have any problems with the customer reps -- they were kind, quick, and for the most part happy, which is rare to see at certain places these days. This Potbelly is located on Concourse C inside Cleveland Hopkins International Airport - just across from Gate C29. It's relatively new - there used to be a Chinese food joint in this spot. I was stuck in the Airport for an extra four hours or so due to flight delays - so U hit this place for lunch. Ordered a Wreck on multi-grain wheat, with lettuce, tomato, onion, hot peppers, may, oil, and vinegar, and a bottle of water. Food came up fast - Tasty sandwich! read more

This is right across from United C29 gate. There is decent seating with some outlets to bust on work emails. I picked up food for breakfast. Pizza sandwich looks good when they're making it, but get lots of napkins-- it's a mess! Speed is okay til someone orders a shake or or smoothie or whatnot, then the cashier has to make the shake and the whole thing goes off the rails. Purchased food from here during a lengthy layover. Received two sandwiches, chips and a drink for 14 dollars, which for the airport, was pretty great. Came late on a Saturday, and it was one of the few places still open. Customer service was excellent, everyone was pleasant. Obviously there are not too many options, as it is a sandwich shop.
