Plus everybody working like a chicken with their heads cut off, food prep line is not organized, the ambience is not welcoming. Reasons for this review... Ordered for pick up at 12:02 pm 3/5/2026. I've clicked "here" so they know I have arrived to make my chicken wrap. I went inside to let the lady who is taking care of all "online orders". She knew I was there for a pick up. My coworkers have already decided to sit in to eat on the inside, they have gotten their food and sat down. I've waited so long, they have ate their food, laughed at me for still standing there and walked out. While standing there, I have seen customers walk in and order (even the online order pickups) and walk right out after me. I understand that it was busy in there but that is still unacceptable. A customer came in after me, they noticed him and asked him his name. He told them and immediately the lady reassured him to give them a minute because their backed up and asked him did he want anything for his wait. I was shocked... so finally the wrap was made, the manager brought it to the front counter, she yelled "who has the wrap" and I raised my hand and I asked her "what name is on the receipt" she said "Ronnie". Smartly I through my hands up and the manager said "you don't have to throw your hands up, we are busy" and I said "yes I do have to throw my hands up". The manager "literally" got mad at me, then the other lady asked me if I wanted anything for my wait. I denied it and I said "I just wanted my wrap to go". I walked out at 12:25pm! If the manager didn't get upset, I wouldn't have written this review because her attitude showed more than what great customer service supposed to be. read more

Well, what I am going to say will be redundant after seeing other reviews. It's probably best to get workers who actually want to ummmm....work. The attitudes are ridiculous. They do not greet the customers and they do not like to answer any questions pertaining to orders or the menu. The place runs extremely slow. It's time to invest in self-check out here. This place is slow, incompetent and nasty! There signs don't say much like they are mostly drive through. Also their staffs are lazy and very incompetent as well. Ordered a Turkey sandwich and they gave me something else, I ordered for soup BUT GOT A COOKIE INSTEAD lol like they didn't even give me the soup. I am giving them 1 star cause they gave me the drink I wanted and that was the only thing they got right. I went back to them and asked them to redo my order except the drink or give me back my money. They ignored me for the first 10mins that I was there and when they finally came to me, they didn't consider redoing my order that I already paid for, they immediately thought of refunding my money. I love PotBellys. This is right by my work, so I keep trying it only to be very disappointed. Out of about 10 trips here, I have left unhappy about 7. Twice I used the online app to order and when I got there was told they did not have some of my order (strawberry shake). They did offer another flavor or refund, but I wanted my strawberry shake!! Also the last 2 orders I chose to pick up in drive-thru but when I got there they told me I had to come inside. Today they claimed their drive-thru was closed. I go inside and see 4 employees working, but at a snails pace. As I waited to be acknowledged, I look around and see garbage all over the floor and the place just looked kind of crappy. Finally someone got my name and checked my order, only to tell me they had not even started it yet. I was actually late and it was suppose to be ready 8 minutes before this time. I was frustrated that it would likely be at least 5 minutes more, so told them to cancel my order so I could get to work on time. They claimed they would reimburse my credit card. 4 hours later, I had not received a refund so I called. The manager nicely explained that it may take a few days to show up for the refund. But when I asked about the drive thru, he claimed they sometimes close it down when they are busy and that was likely shift change time. There were 4 employees behind the counter and ONE person in line. So very doubtful they were overwhelmed. I worked fast food before and in restaurants. No reason for my food to not be ready (25 minutes after ordering by now) and no reason to close the drive thru. By the way, this neighborhood is pretty sketchy, which is why I wanted to go through drive-thru. There are usually groups of thugs smoking weed in the parking lot hanging out so I prefer not to step out if I can avoid it. Just disappointed because I really do love PotBellys. Slid through for a Mediterranean and the crew was cool as a fan. No line inside, cuz everyone was in the drive-thru, perfect for me, so I was able to quickly order and purchase. I walked all the way over to the shop after dropping off my truck and embarrassingly pulled on the front door for a minute before peeking inside to see someone making a motion to go through the drive-through. I ordered a Veggie Melt. No one told me they didn't have the ingredient listed first on the menu for that sandwich: AVOCADO! I have been there three time so far and had a great experience every time. My first disappointment was last Tuesday afternoon. I ordered an item from the website and paid for it but when I got to the drive through they said they were out. As usual the staff was friendly and professional so I was going to let it slide. But the cashier checked with the manger and gave me an upgrade. Turned it into a win. I'm not sure why all the reviews aren't good here but I'm giving them 5 stars. Slow as molasses and dirty. Came at 11:30am on a weekday. Bunch of employees behind the counter prepping stuff but nobody available to take my order. After a looong wait, during which I noticed a thick layer of dust and dirt on the computer monitor which is DIRECTLY OVER AND WITHIN INCHES of the food, I was finally acknowledged and able to order. I asked for lettuce tomato mayo as toppings but also got onions and pickles. Huh? Sandwich was nasty messy when I opened it- like the prep surface was dirty and all sorts of sandwich toppings stuck to it. I love Potbelly! I only go to this one because I work right next door. I have been going since they open and the scanner has never worked. I'm sorry, but I want my points and I use the app to pay. Today, a young lady decides she didn't want top walk to the other register to scan my app and was ready to cancel my order. After I paid with my credit card, she walked away without giving me my receipt. They really need to work on that customer service just like everyone else in the reviews have said. To start, as I opened the door an employee pushed past me with a bad attitude, apparently she was delivering food to people in the Drive-Thru. But, I was like okay so much for saying excuse me or letting customers enter first. Then I got in and all the employees were talking way too much, there were at least five people working and I was the only person in line and it took a couple of minutes to even take my order, then she messed up my order and put peppers on my sandwich when I asked for them on the side. When I finally asked what was taking so long she said that she was re-making my sandwich to put the peppers on the side. I said nevermind, I need to go, I'll take the first one. She still didn't listen to me still re-made my sandwich so I waited. Then I had to wait for someone to check me out. I wasn't even going to leave them a review until I got home and realized they gave me the complete and total wrong sandwich. Just like most Potbellies. I liked the food. The service was quite nice. The only thing I'd change is the attitude of the workers. They were much too loud and noisy when customers were trying to eat or order. This is very minor and it wasn't that annoying but it would have been nice if they were just a little bit quieter and if they spent less time talking when someone was trying to order. Other than that though, the service and the quality of the food is the same as you'd expect at any other potbelly. read more
