It had been years since I visited a Potbelly however one afternoon I did so and would highly recommend the Italian sandwich which is what I partook of during my visit this particular afternoon. I had the medium size which was perfect as it was well packed full of deli meats, quite efficiently prepared and seasoned and some very pleasant servers who took almost no time in an assembly line fashion, preparing and serving me which is always a pleasure for a 'fast food' experience and this particular Potbelly has a bonus which is an expansive shaded patio that provides a wonderful ambiance on this particular day. I typically do not offer a review of such establishments (and typically do not even go to be quite frank) however this particular Potbelly in the LaCentera area of Katy, TX would be an exception to my self-imposed rule. read more

Potbelly is a great place to go if you're craving a good sandwich. Their tuna salad, prime rib sandwich, and meatball sub are amazing!! I tried their Mac and cheese chili and it was the perfect combo. I wish the Mac and cheese had either a cheese topping or breadcrumb topping but it's alright. Their Oreo shake is also wickedly good. We love this pot belly. The shopping center is often very busy, but the shop does a lot of to go orders, so you can be in and out really quickly. It reminds me a lot of Quiznos which we loved back in the day. It was my first time at Potbelly and let's just say I'm a fan. A friend was telling me about the veggie melt and how much she loved it so I had to give it a try. When you order the veggie melt make sure you add hot peppers. I took off the avocado and got it on wheat bread. Bruh wow lol, I want it now just thinking about it. I've come here multiple times and have catered many events using this store. After tonight I will never give them my business again. I arrived at the Potbelly's about 9:40pm to order some sandwiches. When I was walking up to the store I could see all the employees hiding in the back kitchen watching to see if I was going to go in. When they saw that I was entering the store the guy working started to yell and punch the wall. I immediately could tell they did not want to work or help any more customers. I still walked in and got the guy's name. He said his name was Carson, who knows if that's really his name. I decided that I didn't want to force this guy to do his job which he's getting paid for so I left. Plus, who knows what he would have done to my food. Judging by the way he reacted to helping a customer I didn't want to risk him messing with my food. I will not go back to this location. He was working with two other girls tonight 6/29/23. Decent little sandwiches for the money, regular size is a good portion, ingredients are ok, wide variety of choices but the bread isn't anything great very plain. I've been going to Potbelly for years, at multiple locations, ever since they entered the Houston market. Never had a problem until now, but I am amazed with their customer support. Placed a decent sized order using their app, and noticed there were some missing items when I arrived home. We host our JH boys small group here on Wednesdays and it is a great place for that. The staff is super nice and the food comes out quickly. One of the best sandwich shops in Katy! Their ingredients are so good and fresh. Specifically their Italian sub has the most amazing spices. Just awesome!! They have a fun atmosphere with the old wood burning potbelly stove in the center of the dining area. Always great people who seem to love their jobs! And I have to mention their oatmeal chocolate chip cookies !!!!! Oh my they are addictive!!! I buy them by the bag and eat them almost all by myself. I have to share. So today I ordered the farmhouse, and from their site it was so convenient to place my order. I work nearby and I thought wow! Everything looks so good online, I'm glad to know this is here. I'm giving 2 stars because it was a major disappointment when I got back to the office. For a salad that's suppose to have romaine and spinach, there was NONE. I have driven past Potbelly's for years since I have moved to Tx. I was recommended to go and try the "A Wreck" sandwich. Although my attention was diverted when I saw the "Mediterranean". Ordered that. Added chicken for a buck. Ultimately it's a simple sandwich. Somewhat refreshing because of the cucumber. However I am not entirely a fan of toasted sandwiches. Just me. I'm old school I guess. I think I would have enjoyed the sandwich a touch more if it was not toasted. Or maybe if I ordered what was suggested to me. All in all. It wasn't a great sandwich. But it wasn't a bad sandwich either. The price is okay. $12+ for a Bigs sandwich drink and chips. The VooDoo chips stink. I tried the Jalapeño. There were only 6 chips in the bag. Rest was crumbs. Potbelly's specialized sandwiches include A Wreck, the Pizza Sandwich, and the Mediterranean. Four different soups are also offered each day. This Potbelly's location offers the broccoli cheese soup every day and the daily soup menu can be viewed on Potbelly's website. "Skinny" versions of some of the sandwiches are offered, each coming in under 400 calories. My daughter and I stopped by for lunch on a Friday. She loved the broccoli cheese soup and the hammie. I enjoyed the Mediterranean with chicken...it was a delicious blend of vegetables and I would definitely order it again. I like that calories are printed on the menu so you don't have to guess. Potbelly's also offers flatbread at 90 fewer calories than its traditional bread that is offered. We paid about $20 for two sandwiches, two drinks, a bag of chips and a cup of soup. This is about the same price you will pay at Subway, except for the fact that Subway doesn't have soup. I want to return and try "A Wreck" and a cup of that cheese broccoli soup. read more

One of the guys behind the counter could tell we were complete noobies to the establishment as I'm sure we had blank stares across our faces looking up at the menu far too long while attempting to decide what to get and how to order? We were definitely not in the "know" of the menu and ordering process here. He was nice, friendly, extremely funny, and very helpful as he even suggested sandwiches for us. We both took him up on his recommendations and got a big turkey and a big wreck. We ordered our sandwiches, got through the unknown part of ordering and grabbed some seats and chowed down. Granted this was our first time here, I can definitely say it will not be our last. My favorite there is their enormous salads. Their salads for approximately $7 can feed about two people. I usually order the Uptown Salad that has grilled chicken, grapes, candied walnuts, cranberries, apples, bleu cheese and red onion. It's great tossed with their house balsamic vinaigrette. I have also ordered their Skinny sandwich but it is quite unsatisfying. For the price, I would much rather go down the street for a $5 foot long at Subway.
