This was my first time visiting Jason's deli. The wait wasn't long at all, the cashier was very friendly and patient as I was undecided in what I wanted because it was my first time. It wasn't very busy when we went at 8:30pm. My son enjoyed the free ice cream! When I got home I realized that they forgot to give me my brownie. I plan to go back tomorrow to get that because I paid for it. I believe it was an honest mistake. 8/24 - I spoke with David and he made a note to the staff that I would be returning for my brownie. Great place to grab a healthy and pretty quick meal! I love you have several options to choose from for a side dish too! Today I had my usual spinach veggie wrap but ordered the broccoli cheese soup. The soup was creamy and warm, the wrap is full of fresh ingredients and great with the salsa. Counter was as expected- they took my order and brought my food. Maybe this was just an off day , but I ordered a whole muffaletta and it was dry. There was ample meat, but I could barely see the cheese. I was disappointed. I took must of it home to doctor it up. I love Jason's deli. My husband loves the salad bar, they don't have meat like cubes of turkey or ham, but they do have eggs and lots of cheese options so you can still get your protein in. The soup and sandwich combo is delicious, I like the broccoli cheese soup. Even though the parking lot fills up fast the dining room almost always has open tables. read more

I can usually always count on Jason's Deli for quality meals. I stopped into a different location than my usual JD today. The service was great and the restaurant was clean, but my food was poor. I always get the Shelley's chicken salad and it's always great. Not this time. Tomatoes were anemic looking, bread was over toasted and the lettuce had weird spots on it. The broccoli cheese soup was gritty and bland. I'm so disappointed because this meal was for my friend who is in the hospital and myself. We were both not happy. $29.82 for terrible food. Owned by Jason from Freddy vs Jason fame. Apparently. This is a pretty good location of Jason's Deli, and one which we come to on a fairly regular basis, and one which we appreciate. But over $25 for that??? And then a blatant Tip option at check out for a counter order to go? Tipping is for good food and service and not for nothing, before or a counter order, quit normalizing tips before you even get your food, its insulting and offensive. Been gone a while, see my previous rating for this location. Well tonight we felt like we walked into a Mexican Cantina. The staff working behind the food prep station had a radio going that you could hear all over the restaurant! The music being played would be only heard in an east end Houston cantina. My sandwhich was OK, my wife had a soup that she said apparently had been cooked for so long , that it was thick and you could tell old. Please get your act together! read more

I'm not a salad guy. I don't eat salads at very many places. So strangely enough... I love the salad bar here!!! It's awesome! I love the selection of veggies available for your salad. And I love the dressing! They keep the bar nice and clean and organized well. Never see gnats here like at other salad bar places. I'm a big fan! For dessert the have chocolate mouse on the salad bar. It's amazing!! Plus you can get free soft serve ice cream before you leave for free. Sweet Tea Rating: 8.5/10 Great sweet tea!! You can add grape tomatoes, spinach, more mushrooms, and red onion. I opted just for the red onion. It is delicious, and enough for 2 meals. Service here is quick and polite. I placed my order online for a pick up order to go. It was ready when I got there and sitting on the counter (which is fine and what I wanted). The boy on the register was obviously new and a manager helped him with the transaction which isn't a big deal. 5 minutes go by and I ask someone where my order is and he said I think they're making it now - he never checked the counter. 10 minutes later I asked someone else about my pick up order and they never realized it was sitting on the counter. A manager offered to remake it but then a male manager said it only was out for a few minutes so it wasn't remade because he had the final say. We just aren't going to acknowledge that I waited for 10 minutes for something that I already made? I think they missed he fact that I was waiting 10 minutes for something that was already made because no one checked the counter. When I opened my sandwich in my car to check it before I drive off, it was not a whole like i asked, it was on plain white sliced bread, there was no cheese in it, no salt/pepper, and oil vinegar was on the side, I was about to go back into the deli to get my sandwich fixed but I didn't want to wait another 15 mins so I just left and went home. First impression is what makes customers return well in this case I was not impressed.
