I live downtown and was out one day and decided to drop in for a sandwich. I'm really glad I did! I had a turkey and swiss on wheat and it really hit the spot! The restaurant is very casual as you would expect a sandwich shop to be ... somewhat similar to a Subway but a little nicer. The counter workers were all very friendly and helpful and patient with me while I made my selection. Ingredients were fresh and they offer lots of options. It's nothing fancy but very enjoyable nonetheless. I'll definitely go back again!

I really wanted to like Potbelly...so much so that I visited three more times after my first mediocre experience. My standards for a quality sandwich are fairly high. I appreciate crusty bread, fresh meats, and cheese that makes the whole bite pop. I've tried a few different sandwiches (Italian, Cuban, chicken salad) and also a breakfast item (bacon, egg, and cheese bagel) -- and they were all bland and boring. The bagel was pretty greasy as well. Yesterday's service also irked me. When I walked in around dinner time, I looked at the menu board as it had been a while since my last visit. One of the guys mumbled something about telling me to give them a few minutes (I think..?) even though I obviously wasn't ready. When I was ready, no one would make eye contact for some time. Eventually I was told where to place my order (I had walked up farther as no one was looking at me). The guy seemed slightly annoyed that I requested two sandwiches because he obviously wanted to continue chatting over my head about football with the man in line behind me who he knew. I also requested an Oreo milkshake and they asked if yogurt was fine. I said I'd prefer ice cream, and they replied that they taste exactly the same. I said fine. (Definitely not the same, btw. Also a super small portion for the price.) Once I chose the bread type and size, I waited an oddly long period of time...mostly wondering what to do. Eventually another guy walked up (I assume he had been on break) and asked me what I wanted on the sandwiches. He then wrapped them up and placed them at the check out. I then stood there for at least ten minutes until he turned to me again and asked if I needed to pay. Like, sorry dude, but did you see me move the entire time you were prepping sandwiches? I handed him the $4 off coupon for July and paid $17.43 for my order. I later realized that means it's unlikely he actually applied the discount (unless tax cost $4). My fault for not taking a receipt. Also, my Italian was hot. I wasn't given the option of hot or cold. I think it's ridiculous to serve hot Italian sandwiches, but perhaps that's just the Philly-native in me coming out. The sandwich was somewhat better after I put it in the fridge. Considering the average products, uncomfortable and laggy service, and steep prices for the quality, I really don't see a reason to return any time soon.

I found a bug in my food after ordering from here and I think that they Should refund and give me more and have a health inspector come and look at their kitchen

Over 22 check-in's and that's only when I remember. It's probably closer to 50 at this point. They ALL know me at this location. I'm greeted almost every time with "Hey Tony!" Heck, I've even been customer of the week (back in July) - I'm straight up famous in this place. The BIG Italian is what you should go with. The bacon egg and cheese on FLAT is also killer when you need breakfast. The lines moves like a well oiled German automobile. That is all. Carry on.

We had the option of getting brunch or the regular lunch menu. I ordered the OG chicken sandwich and it was amazing. The chicken was full of flavor and juicy and I liked the sauce that came on it. Their famous short rib egg rolls were a bit burned on the outside so a bit dry on the inside. They did have a very good sauce served with them that pretty well covered the flaws. We also got the sweet potato corn bread. It was tasty, but fell apart just a little too easily. I had to eat it with a fork. The risotto that came with my duck leaned a little too far to the mushy side. The duck itself was really good. My niece had the salmon, and she had no complaints. She said she had the leftover last night as a sandwich and that it was delicious. Service was excellent. No notes.

Our entrees were equally as tasty. I ordered the salmon and it was done well! My only personal preference would be to swap the green beans for the collards next time--the green beans just weren't cooked quite the way I prefer. That said, everything else was really enjoyable. Overall, a great meal at an equally great price. We were pleasantly surprised to walk out for under $65 without ordering drinks. Definitely felt like a great value, and we'd happily come back!

There is a huge empty booth right in the front across from the hostess stand, no one was sitting there, we asked if we could sit there for just a moment to cool off in the AC- we were rudely told no we had to wait outside. The next family in line included 2 elderly women and a baby all dressed gorgeous, they also were told they had to wait outside in 105 weather. After about 20 minutes of waiting, (I was just going to tell them to forget it) they said our table was ready. Well, instead of inside with AC as we requested we were seated in a gazebo porch area that they claimed had AC. By this time we were so desperate for cool, we didn't argue that we had requested INSIDE not whatever this room was. It ended up being like sitting in a tuna can. So uncomfortable, my husband and bro in law just went and sat in the car with the AC blasting. Waitress was sporadic to put it nicely. Meanwhile, back inside the booth across from the hostess stand was still empty. Food was fine. But I don't think this place will be around much longer.

The place had such a great, relaxed but upbeat vibe, making it a perfect pre-show stop. Happy hour was in full swing (Wednesday-Friday, 4-6pm), so we started with the Fries and a dip deal ($4). We chose three dips: Calabrian chile mayo, house ranch, and roasted garlic aioli. The garlic aioli stole the show for me--creamy, punchy, just amazing! The fries themselves were perfectly crisp and piping hot. For drinks, my friend loved her "Secret Garden" tito's vodka, strawberry, basil, and lime, super refreshing and lightly sweet. I went bolder with the "Caffe Trieste," a dangerously good combo of Belle Isle Cold Brew Coffee Moonshine, Kahlua, Tito's, Amaro Averna, almond, cinnamon, vanilla bitters, and a coffee rinse. If you like dessert in a glass, you need to try this! Dinner did not disappoint. I had the Pesto Chicken Panino: char-grilled chicken, basil pesto, sun-dried tomato, aged balsamic, red onion, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and a zippy red wine vinaigrette, all on fresh, pressed bread with a vibrant arugula salad. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and I loved the balance of the peppery salad on the side. My friend ordered the rockfish special and was gracious enough to share a bite, so flaky and perfectly seasoned! All in all, Pinky's hits every note: quick and friendly service, creative cocktails, and food that's both comforting and elevated. Can't recommend it enough for a casual night out, especially if you can catch happy hour!

The restaurant has ample seating both indoors and outdoors. We dined here twice in one weekend because of convenience and the food being good enough to repeat! We did not have reservations either time, and we were seated right away. There was space for our stroller. The inside of the restaurant is like a big garage, and it's quite loud (but our baby likes the loud noise). Outside, they have big umbrellas to provide some shade. Highlights from the menu include the grilled octopus, caesar salad, meatballs, and desserts (both cheesecake and olive oil cake). The meatballs were so tender and saucy. The octopus was cooked well, and the seasoning was great. The only dish we didn't love was the scallops. The scallops were overwhelmed by the accompanying chorizo in the dish. The server we had the first night was not friendly or warm. It seemed like she did not care to be there. But there were no mistakes or major issues. We enjoyed Pinky's, and it was a good choice for brunch on a busy weekend and for dinner without a reservation. I'd recommend checking it out.
