The blueberry mint ice cream deserves a cult following! It's made with REAL mint and the color is amazing. Both the vibes and the staff were absolutely on point. For dessert, I highly recommend the ice cream brûlée; it was incredibly delicious and unique. The only minor drawback for me was the cocktail selection, which is limited to just a couple of drinks and a few spritzers. However, they do have a decent wine menu with several great aromatic wine offerings. Because it's a intimate venue with limited seating, you might encounter a wait. My best friend and I had a great time at Potential New Boyfriend! We were in town a little early for my bachelorette party. I used to live in this area so was excited to find this new to me spot. It's a mix of a wine/cocktail/dessert/vinyl bar. The music was amazing and the vibe was perfect. I loved the natty wines they had to pick from and the extremely unique menu. Our server was super sweet and helpful. My best friend enjoyed her cocktail and we decided to share the dessert flight. Our favorite part was the sundae, I highly recommend getting their ice creams. The tiramisu and truffles were fine compared to the sundae. When we were there they played a great mix of Robyn, Whitney Houston, and some other artists. This place came highly recommended to me and I was so geeked that we were able to check it out. The vibes are so cool We came on a Sunday afternoon and was able to snag a seat at one of there velvet couches. This was one of THE most unique wine/cocktail bar I've been to for a few reasons. I loved the way their menu was formatted with details on flavor profiles, styles and separated into quadrants. They had a small food menu that was very intriguing and eccentric. My eyes locked in on the Thai Tea Panna Cotta! OMG yum! It was decadent, luscious and was so flavorful. The layered coconut milk and that lemon meringue on top was such a nice touch of acid to cut through all that richness. I'm a sucker for boba pearls too so it was all delicious. Our server was so friendly and helped us through the menu. She checked in on us periodically and made sure we were taken care of. They were also playing great music! I've been following them on IG for awhile now and excited to visit this place on the next trip to AVL. I finally got to check it out this week. We arrived on Tuesday at 5pm. There were only a couple other people here so we had our pick of the seats. We found a comfy couch with a low table and were greeted immediately. Our server was pleasant and explained the menu thoroughly to us. It's divided between regular wines, and then there's a side dedicated to more adventurous and unique offerings. These are generally smaller and stronger pours. They also specialize in desserts - ice cream primarily but also some other cakes and confections. Much as I wanted to indulge in the dessert, we were there just for a pre-dinner drink, but next time I will get the ice cream! Our server let us sample a couple before committing to a glass. I tried the standard bubbles and enjoyed that tasting, so I got a full pour of that. My partner got something a little more exotic but it was interesting and tasty. We really enjoyed our visit here - it's super bright and vibrantly decorated - pops of color everywhere. And it's a listening lounge, so you can see all of the high end audio equipment, speakers, etc seamlessly placed throughout the space. This place is a very cute restaurant/lounge that I decided to go in the afternoon on a Sunday and do a little work while I was sitting there. I began with an Affogato, delicious! I had great service and the music was bumping. Nice touch. I enjoyed that people were coming in and contributing their own records as I was sitting there. I ended up also getting a nice n/a beverage and I ended my visit with the petite cheese plate, which was also really delicious. Luckily, I had more honey randomly in my purse and it just made the meal perfect but I'm sure if I asked for just a little dollop more, it wouldn't have been a big problem. In addition they had a couple of grilled cheeses available, and I had one with Gruyère, kale and butternut squash. Certainly in the top 5 sandwiches I have ever had. So good. Amaya was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and gave helpful drink suggestions based on our preferences. However, we were severely mistaken that it was a wine lounge (to which we were delighted). Service is amazing and we felt so comfortable and welcomed by the staff. They were able to answer all our questions about the menu, and everything we tried was phenomenal. The music playlist was so retro and perfect, the decor unique and clearly tailored for the vibe of the establishment. We had the Vinedo de los Vientos Alcyone Tannat Dessert Wine with the dessert flight. The wine was so very delicious, one of the best red wines i've ever had, and no i'm not exaggerating. Great selection of unique drinks with a menu that aids you in selecting to your taste, a generous aperitivo serving (we had the XL), but the dessert (Golden Girl [tahini cheesecake with apricot glaze and amarena cherries]) was the star of the show.
