The sales people are only nice to you when selling the furniture to you. If there are any defects or problems with the furniture they are absolutely useless and will not help you. They don't care because they already made the sale. I bought a very expensive round table from the store. It was installed by the delivery people. The top of the table moves when you put even light pressure on it. When I called them when I brought the table they said it was not their responsibility if the table was not assembled correctly. They said it was not their responsibility. They did not give me any information about how to fix it. I never really used the table until recently and now it's past the warranty. Now I have to pay a private company to fix this overpriced table that was defective since I received it. This was my first and last purchase from Pottery Barn. Stay away from this place. read more

I bought a floor sample item and had to wait 10 days to pick it up and was told the day I arrive that because their store designer was out I had to wait as they did not want to have the store look empty. If I could give a minus 10 stars, I would. Ordered this table for a whopping $1,699.00 + tax + delivery over a year ago. Table top had a crack. Over the past 6 months (no exaggeration) PB has 'attempted' to deliver 3 more tops - all cracked. They finally issued a credit on the one they charged me for again but never delivered. I'm stuck with the original with a massive crack. Local manager at Green Valley has enjoyed taking our money over the years but acted inconvenienced when we brought up the issue. On one occasion my mother in law witnessed it & today my mother witnessed it. The woman whose name starts with an 'A' my 35 year old eyes failed me to see her full name, said to us after standing there for five minutes right in front of us, "oh I'm too busy right now & you're just going to have to wait" and just left. Walked by. No other words. Is it because I'm heavily tattooed & Hispanic? It's always the white woman helping/speaking to another white woman & glaring with disdain. Just like the reviews say service here sucks! Called ahead and asked about 500$ bed sheets in cal king size 59 confirm they had them in stock before I drove in 120 degree weather. Store manager Trina , associate Judy extremely unhelpful. I received a pair of bed sheets as a gift that I attempted to exchange for another bedding item. Much to my dismay I was told I couldn't exchange it as I didn't have a receipt (keep in mind I didn't request cash back or monetary compensation whatsoever ). The sheets were brand new not used at all however , Trina intervened to condescendingly stated she 'Cant' exchange the items. I asked her if she physically couldn't or if she wouldn't ? She went on to minimize me as a customer and verbally communicated the following to "Cant/won't however you perceive it IM just not going to do it for you" . All in all the experience was less than pleasing , being that this is not Ikea I'm baffled by the way I was treated. Safe to say I won't be returning to this store so long as Trina holds her position at this store. At the end of the day I completely understand policy , however this policy should be enforced across the board . This company has the worst customer service and has a problem fulfilling its obligation delivering quality furniture. Ordered living room and bedroom furniture for them and they were all delivered with inferior quality. We have been waiting for the accent chair replacement for a long time and all they keep on doing is delaying and delaying it. We ordered our furniture august 2020 and it's more than a year now and they haven't fulfilled its promise. Spoke to Regine who is the furniture department supervisor and she has not given any kind of reassurance about yeh deliver of the accent chair. She was rude and keep on repeating the same thing about having confidence that it'll de delivered. But I asked her when is the acceptable time frame for then to get delivered and she couldn't give me an answer. She only said things she knows and never tried to listen to customer's concern. Never again. Don't order furniture from pottery barn. It'll take you a good year to wait for it to get delivered. They will postpone and postpone and postpone. I don't ever write reviews. This one is warranted. Purchased 2 beds on 5/31 with cash. I already knew there was going to be a long delay with receiving my personal bed, so I purchased a guest bed to use in the meantime since it showed as available to deliver by the time I move to my new house mid July. I finally received the guest bed after an additional delivery delay. It was missing the front panel. After speaking with customer service, they scheduled to exchange the bed, for the same exact bed, in hopes that new bed would have the front panel. The exchange bed comes, and again...no front panel. After a series of back and forth conversations with customer service, it was determined that the bed is a manufacturer's defect. Yeah, ya think??! Because of everything I've been through with this bed, I told them to cancel the other bed order. I was not going to take a chance of going through this crap twice! Since I paid cash, I had to wait for them to mail me a refund check. I moved to NV, but for what ever reason, they mail the initial refund to my old address in CA. I went to the Henderson store and spoke to the GM. She had to call customer service herself to try to resolve everything. Because it was sent to the wrong address, they had to stop payment that refund, and issue out a new one going to the correct address. You would think by now they would of offered to expedite my refund by using UPS, FedEx, or even priority mail. Nope. I received my refund 9/1. Never. again. read more

I was a permanent fixture for a good month when I first bought my house and then it turned into a trap maybe every six months or so I never had a better experience in the store do you only bad thing is I wanted everything but I didn't have a big enough house for everything there's not that many great sales but the quality is good and so are the designers that they have which are free they can help you pick out all of your draperies and covers for your couches whatever you want one time I brought in a photograph of an empty room with two sets of French doors and showed it to the designer and she picked out a beautiful chest chairs and made it into the most beautiful tea room for me I love shopping there and seeing all the new things and at first I was with neutral colours as far as Ivory cream is calm baskettt wicker and glass. But for my house on the Eastcoast I am leaning more towards greys and more of a Montauk Hamptons look If you know me that is very risky because I like everything to be very calming and grey is a little out of my comfort seven but I always like to calm it down with weight and keeping it simple as agreed store you will get a lot of attention all you have to do is ask because there's a lot of people coming in and out there are two doorways so you won't be hounded at all Although I don't seem to ever come in when there is a great sales and that always bothered me read more

On the rare occasion I've purchased something that didn't meet my expectations of Pottery Barn, I have had no issues dealing with customer service and/or returning items. The employees at this location are always very helpful and friendly. I think the reviews about delivery times since the pandemic started are unfair. The delivery times have been extraordinarily long for every company I have purchased from due to all the issues that come with the entire world closing down. I was hoping that my 400th review would be a positive one but, unfortunately, it just didn't shake out that way. This is a review update that just can't wait. I've been shopping here since I moved to Henderson almost 3 years ago. I've bought things big and small - everything from towels and vases up to my living room and bedroom furniture. I love the products, but the service is among the worst I've ever experienced. Currently, I'm dealing with an order gone rogue. I purchased a custom upholstered bed back in June. The delivery was estimated to be the first week of August. In the 2nd week of August I questioned where my bed was and received a letter in the mail stating that the bed was out of stock and would be delivered between 9/3 and 9/17. It's one day past the time frame and I called the store inquiring about my bed. A manager called me back and stated, "Good news! I have the delivery folks on the phone and we can schedule your delivery. The first available date is 9/22." Firstly, why did I have to call to be told my bed was ready for delivery? Shouldn't Pottery Barn have called me? ESPECIALLY after this long of a delay? Secondly, I've had this bed on my Pottery Barn card since JUNE. I've been paying for a bed that I STILL don't have. Thirdly, I requested delivery this weekend since I'm not home during the day on week days, and they basically told me it was too late, but that they will try their hardest to ensure it gets delivered late on 9/22. Try your hardest?!? I replied that if the bed was not in my home by 9/22 I would be canceling my order. This is not the first time my orders have gone wrong. I once ordered an area rug that was charged to me and arranged to be sent to the WRONG person (someone with the same first name as me who also lives in Henderson). I didn't notice until a day later when I was looking at my receipt when I noticed that Bonnie P. was the bill-to, and Bonnie A. was the ship-to. I mean, seriously?!? Is anyone paying attention there? Whenever placing an order, getting a "quote" or looking for an item, I literally wait FOREVER at the sales desk. Their system is so antiquated, it was might as well be MS DOS from back in the day. In the 9 years I've been shopping at this location (with one Christmas season as a Wlliams-Sonoma, their parent company, employee) I can factually say the employees here are snobby. Unless you are actually buying furniture OR look as though you have money, you will be hard pressed to find help. Even then, the "help" you receive is marginal. I also never know which register is open to make a purchase. No one is ever at one. Good luck finding someone to ask. If you do, chances are you will have to take your items to another location to pay. Not easy to do if you have lots of things to buy. But for after Christmas, sale or marked down items aren't easily identified. Signage for sale isn't clear either. Don't stick a sale sign on your wall of sheets if the sale is specific to one type of sheet...and then not have them displayed for purchased. read more

The salespeople are helpful and friendly, but I just haven't felt the urge to get out the plastic and commit to buying anything. HOWEVER, I am absolutely DYING to have one of their desks that you can custom-design. The white one. The pretty white one with the pretty white rolling chair. My fiancé and I go to nearby Lucille's really often for tea and BBQ, and every time we're there, I have to go visit "my desk." When I move to Missouri in a month or two, I will be ordering the pretty desk. I might go broke, but it's worth it. I love you, pretty white desk. You will be mine someday. Ahem. Usually I hate Pottery Barn, because the quality of the furniture is very sub par and the prices are high. That said, this PB has their designs on point. I've only bought Christmas ornaments from PB and wouldn't buy anything else other than towels, but this location is great to some design ideas. I have called our designer twice (and all she could do was apologize) so I took it upon myself to schedule delivery (shouldn't she be on top of our order???). We were told over two weeks ago the chandelier was "in the final mile"...hmmm... I have since called three more times (and haven't lost my temper) and was supposed to be delivered yesterday, August 12th. It didn't show up. So now the delivery service tells me the next open delivery date is Friday, August 24th. I wonder where the heck it's being stored. We offered to pick it up ourselves-"oh, no, that's not possible." I absolutely love this store! I've been shopping this location for over 5 years and have always found the staff helpful although there have been times the store seems under staffed and I've had to wait to be helped or to check out. Wish they could stock more items from the catalog, but never have a problem finding plenty of beautiful items for my home. When certain decor items were no longer available in the store, they have called and had things sent to me and I appreciate that service. We are retired and I love that they honor a 10% military discount every day! read more
