'Tis the season!... I love visiting the district at Green Valley Ranch in the month of December. There's a huge Christmas tree, Christmas music playing with decorations throughout the whole property, which gives it a super festive holiday vibe that I love. On this visit there was something in the air. Everyone that we encountered from the staff at the several establishments we visited, to the fellow customers were friendly and had a great attitude and seemed to really be in the holiday spirit. We caught a movie at the regal theater located inside the casino. We ate dinner at Shake shack. Purchased some after dinner sweets at Sees candy and did a some shopping at Bath & body Works. It's a great property located in a nice part of town that offers several eateries, shops as well as the Green Valley Casino, of course. read more

The District at Green Valley Ranch is right outside the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Casino! It's located in Henderson Nevada and has a wide range of shopping, dining, entertainment, and even residential options! This area recently opened up in the early 2000s! The main street area has over 70 shops and restaurants! There was recently a renovation project that included modernizing some of the exterior and updating signage at The District! Some of the new restaurants at The District include North Italia, Flower Child, and Urth Caffe! The District also hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Some of these events include the Weekly Farmers Markets, fitness classes, and seasonal events! You'll want to make sure to check out The District website for the most up to date events happening! I really enjoy walking down the streets at the District though! There is a central park area, and the design has a lot of trees in it! It's easy to go in and out of the stores at The District! There are plenty of parking spots available too! If you're in Henderson and near the casino, I'd recommend stopping by The District, especially during the evening in summer! I am a huge fan of Downtown Summerlin, and when asked if I prefer visting there or The District, I'd most times say Downtown Summerlin, but The District is growing on me. In more recent visits, I've noticed that The District is more mellow than Downtown Summerlin, which is nice for leisurely strolls or patio lunches with our small senior dog. Also recently, our family has really enjoyed the various events that are held there as well as the Market in the Alley over on "The Green" area at The District. Definitely recommend checking their website for the various events that are offered. Overall, it's been wonderful visits and we appreciate how clean and beautiful the atmosphere is along with convenient parking. Highly recommend. read more

I recently met up with friends here and really liked the area and the stores and restaurants. The streets are easy to walk with a huge variety of stores and food for everyone. Parking was surprisingly easy for how crowded it was and there are a lot of spots in front of different stores. Overall, it is a fun place to walk around and I would definitely go back if I was on this side of town. read more

Do I recommend this place! Of course! It's a great place to visit and relax. It is located adjacent to Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino. You can find plenty of restaurants and shops here! My favorite one is the King Fish Restaurant, and of course the newest one is the Steakhouse, Echo and Riggs. Surprisingly, I found shopping very pleasant at the District. It feels more local, and salespeople are more friendly and helpful here. No high pressure shopping! There are many different types of clothing stores and specialty shops in the District where is always something on sale! Love finding bargains! Besides that, I also enjoy just walking around here. Sometimes I get my daily walks done very quickly just because I keep going around and around, looking at window displays. I love window shopping! read more

I reached the store ten minutes before closing and was denied entry though people were still shopping.... I simply needed to make a swift return and had called an hour before to confirm what time they close. Will I still shop there? Not at that location. Best of luck with your UTP. Cute, modern, and elevated outdoor shopping row with great vibes. It's a fun hangout spot for any kind of group but almost perfect for date nights. Its upscale ambiance makes a great place for a romantic night out in my opinion (as long as it's not too busy, which it usually isn't). There aren't very money retail stores and I would say most are decent. There are also a few good dining options too, ranging from casual grab and go to formal sit down. But the shopping row itself is still nice to just walk and talk, even if you're not looking to shop or eat. I've never struggled that much with parking, but it's definitely more on the "limited" side. I will say this kind of establishment is catered to a certain audience and it's not for everyone. However, I would say that there aren't many other areas like this in the greater Vegas area so I'd recommend giving it even just a quick peek if you're ever close by! read more

Gwen over annunciates her words & comes across as someone who's high-level mgmt & knows everything. She lacks good cust svc ie. being able to understand where the customer is coming from & being sympathetic. While product knowledge is key in a business, cust svc is even more. She would be better suited doing paperwork & not interacting w/customers or in a limited capacity. I have allergies who doesn't & Gwen made it out to be not the norm & constantly referenced it on more than one occasion which gives you, the customer, the impression you should shop elsewhere. The 1st time, I met Gwen she was nice to me as she still needed to obtain my business & tweaked some of the policies as a first time customer hoping I would come back. The 2nd time, on 12/8/25, I had a completely different experience. She still gave me her projected professional voice as if she had to prove something to me & her co-worker. I was coming in for an exchange of Sap Moss I had to buy as they don't have it one their backbar. Back story: Sun, Dec 7, 2025, I booked a consult w/Kayla & she was looking at product ingredients based on my allergies & thankfully during that time Gwen wasn't encroaching upon our space nor giving her advice. Kayla did a good job of trying to figure out what products would work but lacked product knowledge as I specifically told her I have to watch out for protein & sulfates. I returned to the store for the 3rd time for the salon service I booked. During our consult, she mentioned maybe baby shampoo would be something better for you since you're allergic to just about everything- that was unnecessary. She suggested I could wash your scalp in that & then you could try the Sap Moss conditioner. Maybe that's a better way to go. I'm about to go in for the service I was told I had to purchase the SAP Moss conditioner as they don't have it on backbar. Gwen goes into a big explanation about why its not there & instead of letting me try it before buying it tells me I have to purchase it & then if it doesn't work I can return it for store credit. What? I should have walked at that point but I needed to wash my hair so I felt obligated to do it but yes, returned it the following day. I mentioned to Gwen that for a customer to know whether or not they could use a product they should probably have all their products on the back bar & she said well it's not a favorite & I said but you just told me that a lot of customers were upset because the product had left the shelves & now they're happy that the product is back.They should've just complementary put it on the back bar, let me test it out & then I wouldn't of been out the money in the 1st place. Someone with allergies, I think Gwen should've stepped up her game & accommodated since retaining a customer is the overall goal. I'm not expecting somebody to roll out the red carpet but I if you're in a salon you have all these products available to try. The next day, I did just that returned it due to Kayla not telling me it had sulfates which I was trying to avoid and Gwen said she came from a previous Aveda salon which isn't the case because Kayla told me she came from a Distribution centre that had makeup & shampoo/conditioners & didn't cater to Aveda. Again Gwen fails as she thinks she knows everything & doesn't; needs to learn to be more empathic & a better listener. The entire time with Kayla she tried 3 different times to accommodate me which was nice but could've done w/o huff & puff attitude & come to find out when the svc was over, Mia mentioned she was nervous as she wanted to please you. I came in to do the exchange of the shampoo & conditioner I ultimately had to buy (& was recommended by Gwen even though at 1st she told me she can't recommend & then does. Mia who is on the same level very sweet carries herself very well speaks very eloquently and then you have the girl from yesterday with red hair that was pleasant; Gwen could take a lesson from her. When I did the exchange, I glanced over & saw Gwen on her personal phone but then made contact with her & she smiled. They're better places than this Aveda! read more

Stopped in today to check out The Makers hive market. It's going on there today from 11-5pm. I missed the last one back in February. I was a little disappointed. Not too many vendors. The few vendors that were there had some cute hand made things. Here are a few pictures of the Vendors that I liked. Was hoping they would have some baked goods as well, but they didn't have much of that. No food trucks as well. I still enjoy coming to the district to grab a coffee and look around at all the cute shops there. Cool and lovely evening stroll along the district corridor. Although, many of the shops were closed, the visual of the lights strung around the trees coupled with the myriad of lights hung above only enhanced the night's shy creating an atmosphere that was truly incredible. I like this cute little shopping center. It's nothing compared to DTS but it has a few stores that I enjoy shopping @. Bath & Body & Sephora. I like to stop in Bella Villa for their HH. It's a great place to get out & walk around. There are even splash pads for the kids, even adults too in the Summertime. They always have it decorated for the holidays & there are plenty of places to eat. Parkway Tavern is down here too & they have video poker machines. Green Valley Ranch casino is right next to door. I've never had a problem with parking & actually get pretty lucky with being able to park right up front of the stores. There are more stores & restaurants across the street, along with a Whole Foods. read more

This place reminds me a lot of Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista. The buildings and feel are the same. The walkways and drive thru traffic definitely match. This is my favorite off the strip casino resort. Just recently discovered that there were shops and restaurants outside of the casino through the theater side. Thursdays, they have a farmers market great selection of stores and restaurants from breakfast to BBQ. Like that there are options for the whole family. My kids enjoy the arcade, food court, and theater. The theater could use an upgrade. The rooms are great. The casino floor is awesome. Food options are plentiful. Sorry, but for me, of course, it's my opinion, and we have different tastes, but GVR is better than many hotels on the strip. I usually get a rental car and like to try local restaurants such as Red Rice and Aloha Kitchen, which are nearby. The strip is about 20 min away, something there is traffic, but it's ok. I'm a rewards member, so I do get discounted or free nights. As long as I keep getting that, I'll make it a part of my Vegas stay. Great place . With views like the pictures below, it's hard not to like a beautiful place like this. read more

We wanted to take our daughter to some kind of playground and ended finding out about this outdoor mall with a splashpad. It was awesome! The mall was pretty conveniently located and easy to maneuver. The was also sufficient parking. The stores themselves were nice. There really wasn't many stores I wanted to go in. The splashpad area was very clean and felt safe. There was a bunch of patio furniture you could sit on. We chose a table that also had a umbrella. The splashpad was also conveniently located near a handful of restaurants you could eat from and sit outside to eat. In order to not overspend on alcohol, I took my own. We packed up a YETI icebox and took it with us. Prior to enjoying my beverage, I clarified with a security regarding their "drinking alcohol" policy. He informed that they just wanted to avoid beverages in containers. I asked a restaurant around me for a cup to pour into and enjoyed away. The only downside to the splashpad was the water was pretty cold - like beyond regular temperature. I could imagine the possibility of some kids getting sick despite the hot heat in Henderson. read more

There are a few different restaurants if you are hungry. There are plenty of benches to sit and rest or relax. It's a great atmosphere. Our neighbor told us about this so we decided to give it a try. It is right next door to the Green Valley Ranch Casino so if you find that, you will find the District. I would recommend that you at least drive through the District to take in the "I can't believe this Las Vegas" look. It seems like a street in Washington DC or someplace else. Most of the parking stalls fronting the shops and restaurants will usually be taken but there is lots of parking behind. It is a great place to walk around and walk into different specialty shops, which a lot of them are pet friendly. A couple of them have water bowls outside for your thirsty pet and some of the shop workers will ask if they can feed your pets a treat. Mine will NEVER turn down treats and attention. There are many specialty restaurants where you can get a coffee up to a full meal while sitting inside or outside. I think outside would be the best spot until the summer. read more

One of my fave spots and I'm slightly amazed I haven't written a review about this place yet. I'm pretty sure this is the central area for all Henderson folks. It's our go to spot all the time. For my husband and I, we frequent The District at least a couple times a week. It really is a great spot to walk around at, and they always have cute decor especially around the holidays. Right now, it's decked out for Halloween. And around Christmas, there's a giant tree that goes in the center that is great for photos! There's really so much to do here and a lot of spots with great patios to eat at. You can go shopping and find a place to grab a bite to eat. The District is really starting to accumulate more and more greats spots. The Local just opened up (on my list of spots to try but I hear great things), Bella Vita is one of our fave Italian spots, and Panera, Rachel's Kitchen, PKWY Tavern and Balboa Pizza are always in the rotation. As far as shopping goes, we love Bath and Body works for all their incredible candles, Francescas for their cute clothes, and more. And if you have kids, there's a splash pad for the summer, too! Honestly, if you're a local and you haven't visited The District yet, you're truly missing out. Even though it's attached to a casino, it really has become a great location with so much community and family activities. read more

I grew up in Vegas and have lived in LA for the last 20 years and umm, well I'm hella snotty about our perfect weather in southern Cali and it's getting harder and harder for me to visit Vegas. From May to September, it's hell hot and it's dry AF. So I only recommend this place twice a year for two weeks in Spring and fall. 'The District' manager Michelle replied back to my email immediately. She apologized and said they do not support that kind of behavior. I reported the inappropriate message to Yelp, along with reading his only two reviews, which were on buying guns. It's kind of scary when we live in a world of violence. I am a gun owner, but am not threatening or harrassing people. After my opinion or review, I'm not holding a grudge. Being that the District management showed true concern, I would go to an event.
