Poor follow up service on furniture made in China sold as premium furniture. I purchased a dining set from them in 2022 and the glass table shattered at 2:30 am while I was sleeping. There was absolutely nothing on the table and it had not been used for over 2 months prior to it shattering . Z Gallerie offered no assistance as I did not buy a warranty. Today, I went into the Houston store, and the staff was extremely rude.  I bought a large piece of art and pillows. I told the sales associate that I would get my car, which was in the parking garage, so we could load my items.  I walked directly to my car and came back (aprox 10 min).  The sales associate did not wait to help me as she said she would.   I asked another  sales associate for my items and if someone could help me.  She said to hold on and went to get her manager.  I have been to the Houston store and other stores in California, and someone always helps myself and other customers with loading.  The manager said, "That is a liability, and we can't do that " will take it to the door for you". I took the pillows outside and came back for the art art piece and she left it leaning near the inside of the door.  I asked the sales associate if she could hold the door for me and her and another sales associate walked away.  I did not ask them to carry anything just to hold the door.  I was appalled.  I did not appreciate being treated like I was bothering them when they are working. Huge fan of ZGallerie...not so much their prices but I scope things out and purchase when they go on sale. I love the glitter, the glam, the modern...fits my style and home decor preferences to the T! I don't have many complaints about this location when I visit. The employees are helpful enough, but it does seem always messy and hard to move around because they just received a big shipment and it's still on the showroom floor literally every time I come here! Another complaint and this one is majorly annoying, they NEVER answer the phone when you call. I even called the newly reopened location at Highland Village to inquire and the rep mentioned other customers saying the same thing. Please don't buy items, if they are packed (from this store at City C enter). If you are buying please open each package and check them. I was buying some wine glasses and a lady told me that they have wine glasses in package of four. So instead of buying two loose pieces I bought a four glass package. But when I reach home and open the package, stem of one wine glass was broken. I live very close to this store (50 m away from the store). So I took it back within 30 minutes.Then the same lady who advised me about the package won't replace it telling that they cannot replace since I left the store. Still have not received any of the ordered items. On their website, they state that they'll ship the items that I have ordered within 3-5 days. It's been 2.5 months since my order. I wish I could give NO STARS! I will never shop with ZGallerie again and I can see I'm not the only one with the same issue! This experience has been disheartening and just a nightmare. My husband and I received all smiles in the store and that was only to get our business. We purchased a couch in July, was told 11-15 weeks and we specifically asked before making a purchase of $3500. We are now past the time frame and when I called to check the status, a representative tells us that our couch is on back order and we should expect the order sometime in December. I received no status update and at this point I want a full refund. While we understand the shortages with materials, I believe you should tell your customers of the possibility of a delay so there won't be any confusion. We specifically asked about the delivery times because we needed the furniture by a certain time and now we feel lied to. When we asked for assistance in processing a refund, we were given the run around stating it wasn't possible because it has left the warehouse. Well that has been over 3 weeks and we have yet to receive a couch. Brenda from customer service has been so rude and unprofessional. Known for its eye-catching displays and trendy pieces, ZGallerie is a great place to find home decor pieces that pop. On this visit, I was on the hunt for a set of unique coasters. Even though I didn't purchase any on this trip, several other items caught my eye. Due to it being a busy Saturday night, customer service was decent, not great. There was no greeting upon entering mainly because all of the associates I saw were busy with customers. No harm, no foul but a bit unexpected just the same. Once I did get an associate's attention, he was very friendly but was quickly called away leaving me to search on my own. Parking is not easy at this location. I recommend parking in one of the garages and simply walking to the store. There's so much to see and do in City Centre it won't be a boring trip. read more

I have recently moved to Houston from Los Angeles and I decided to check out this location here. I ended up furnishing my entire apartment here with the help of Robin! She has been helping me with all of my orders, shipping as well as stunning design input. It was a completely different experience with her than what I've experienced in the past. This is my second time into the store. The first time was around Christmas so they were busy but we did manage to get the attention of one salesperson and she was helpful. I went yesterday with my 2 daughters and we were the only ones there. There were literally 3 salesperson at the counter who just looked at us and ignored us and continued chatting, didn't even say hi, and 2 more on the floor who were busy doing their own thing. We were in there for 10 minutes looking for a set of 6 dining chairs since we just moved. No one came by. On the way out, we had eye contact again and one said hi and continued chatting with the other two. What??? Won't be shopping there anytime soon. I saw a couch for sale online and figured I go to the store to look at in person. The only person that did approach me and asked if I needed assistance after being there for almost 10 min was Eddie. Eddie made the experience a lot more enjoyable. He is well educated on all the different types of designs/furniture. Had it not been for Eddie I don't think I would've even bought the couch. Let's add to the bad reviews... wow. We ordered a sectional and the ETA delivery was end of February. It's March 1st and didn't hear from Z Gallerie- no email, text, phone calls or any type of update. I looked up the order on the tracking area of the website and it is still says "processing" since the day we ordered it! Had to call customer service myself to see what was going on. Guess when our order is supposed to be delivered now? SEPTEMBER! Apparently part of the order is ready but one piece is in production. So I was like ok can you guys at least deliver the stuff that's ready to compensate for not giving us an accurate ETA (even if it was delayed by a month I would have been fine, but September?!? Wow). They bluntly said if you want what's ready delivered you have to pay two delivery fees. Then I was like can I cancel since this is not our fault? Nope, they wouldn't budge. Can we get a discount? Anything? Nope. Nothing. Zero customer service. Pls pls pls listen to all the reviews and save your money and give your business to someone else. You will be disappointed and regret buying from here. We've had delays at Noel Furniture- they gave us a $1000 discount AND offered to give us a loaner sofa. That is customer service. We will never buy from Z Gallerie again. read more

I did 99% of my Christmas shopping on line and this is the only company I had trouble with. They are obviously not set up for online orders. I ordered two Aspar Wall Sconces on 11/14. It is now 1/1 and I have still not received my order--the worst part is that when I looked online two weeks ago the price had dropped and the delivery time was 2-3 weeks (still crazy for wall candle sconce!) Today they are offering free delivery within 1-2 weeks and 25% off. Almost worth me reordering and returning the first pair even with their 25% restocking fee and customer paid shipping. They have zero customer service for their online orders. Phone wait times of over an hour and form email responses saying basically that they are too busy to respond. In a world where companies are competing for online sales they are failing. Not a good online shopping choice. read more

I ordered two small cascada lamps from Z Gallerie. They arrived on 9/15 damaged. I read the policy on the shipping invoice and followed the instructions to call immediately which I did. I waited on hold for several minutes and was connected to an agent. The agent had me take pictures. Then the agent told me I would receive replacement lamps by 9/28. I never received the replacement. I called twice and they said to hold my place in line someone would call me back. I never received a call back. I called again today and waited on hold for 3 hours and 7 minutes. The agent told me the lamps were never shipped. She asked me to send photos. I sent the photos of the broken lamps date stamped for the time I was on the phone with the agent on 9/15. She said in that she could see they were broken and that I needed to ship them back and then they would let me know 1-2 weeks after they received them if they would do anything about an exchange or refund. I said I just proved they are broken. You agreed they are broken. If I just ship this to you without any assurance how do I know I will get a replacement. She said, "you won't". She was so apologetic. I asked to speak to her supervisor she transferred me to Ricardo Diez the lead in the Escalation desk. He got on the phone and with the most patronizing tone told me I was to ship them back or they would do nothing. I told him I understood that point if I had not proven they were already broken, but he could see that they were broken in their original packaging. He agreed they were broken but he would not do anything until 1-2 weeks after they received them per their policy. I told him that he needed to understand that I was promised new lamp by 9/28 by the first person I spoke to. It's now a month later. He said he had no record of that call. I told him I spoke to a man at 9:15am on 9/15 and that he could see the time stamp on my pictures. He said, "oh I see your call now". He literally lied to me on the phone. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He said he was the lead. I asked to speak to his supervisor again because I spent $650 on broken lamps with no guarantee that they would be exchanged or refunded. He said he could give his supervisor a message to call me but it would be at least a month before his supervisor would call me back if he ever called me back. I said are you serious? This isn't a $40 lamp from Amazon. Amazon would have had a replacement to me within 48 hours without photos (which I provided) and would have given me a credit as an apology for the horrible customer service. He told me that I needed to keep it professional in the most condescending tone. I had been completely professional the whole call. I asked him for a direct number or email commitment that the items would be exchanged or refunded. He told me that not only would he not give me that, but he would not discuss any type of future credit for the poor service and broken item until I received an exchange but he would not guarantee the exchanged until the lamp processed 1-2 weeks after arriving back at the warehouse. He then said if I got a refund there would be no discussion of a credit. I finally asked him to pretend for a moment that he was the customer and I had just treated him the way her treated me and what his impression would be and he was silent for about 30 seconds and he said I don't know and hung up. It has been a month of chasing this with no resolution. I have broken lamps and Z Gallerie has my $650 and their team told me that they don't care. Buyer beware. This is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. read more

I have recently moved back to Texas and after several days/weeks looking at other stores, ended up furnishing my new place with many items from ZGallerie. Every piece has been delivered earlier than was promised and in perfect condition. I was even more impressed by the customer service, particularly Robin. Not only did she take the time to give me design opinions and advice, but she truly went the "extra mile". For example: I purchased a piece of artwork that I was *sure* would fit in the back of my SUV. When I was having difficulty getting it to fit myself, Robin came outside and looked up a YouTube video of how to fold my seats up even further to allow the piece to fit more easily. After waiting for another 2 months today we get the correct sofa finally. Thank you for all the help from the customer service, they work promptly and make it the easiest way to exchange for the wrong color sofa. They just come and take the wrong one back at the same day when they deliver the correct one with no penalty, this is excellent. Also, their delivery guy are always perfect and handle with care for your furniture. Though little problem happen in between the colour and we have to wait for 2 months more, but overall it's a great experience to buy furniture from Z Gallerie, the staff at the store is excellent, their stuff looks really cool, customer service at the back and the delivery is great. I have placed an order on line. My order came incomplete. When I tried to call customer service, I had to wait for more than 30 min. I asked if they could ship the missing item before Christmas. They didn't guarantee and asked me if I could go to the store which I did only to find out they couldn't help either given that the order was placed on line. I bought the missing item. When I called customer service again and after waiting... they called me back after reaching "my place in line"... probably 45 min to 1 hour. They told me they will reimburse me for the missing item and this did not occur. Nice presentation in their different colors in setting a mood for bedroom or dining, the quality of the furniture is trendy and priced accordingly. We had been looking for the perfect couch for about a year. Finally someone told me to check here. We fell In love with the couch and they had more color selections then any other place we looked. The order placed in April was expected mid July and we were fine with waiting. I got a call beginning of june that it was ready and delivery was scheduled for the next morning! I stopped by today to pick up a housewarming gift that my friend had previously bought me.. she put it under my phone number and all. They sent me a text that it was ready to be picked up, I spoke to a gentleman over the phone that said to come by and grab it, all I needed was my ID. Well when I arrived to get my gift the manager proceeded to tell me I could not pick it up. I then proceeded to ask if I could call my friend and see if I could get her over the phone to verbally confirm and the lady at the store said we cant do a picture and you can't call her , also she can't change the order to under your name. the purchaser has to come pick it up. Please know that I don't live in town. I drove 45 minutes one way to pick up this item and the manager was very unreasonable, rude and not understanding at all. On top of that I am 4 months pregnant. Needless to say you will not be getting my business again or my friends for that matter!
