So I told her that I'll be there in an hour to purchase the item and have it engraved. Unfortunately when I got there, I myself and my daughter are the only customers in the store. She didn't greet us or anything welcoming and this isn't the first time that I've encountered it with is specific female employee. So I grab the item I've wanted and waited for her. A few moments later she asked if I was all set. I said I called earlier about the pen and engraved item that I wanted to purchase. Mind you it's 3pm and she said sorry I can't get the engraving done by 6pm. I said to her but you said it would be done by the time the store closed. No apologies or anything at all. I said, " I guess I'll have to pick it up tomorrow instead." The lady stares at me for a moment or two and was like, you need to fill out the paper with a freaking attitude. Mind you I don't work there, how the hell was I supposed to know what to do. With attitude like that I don't want to do business with. I told her that to forget the paperworks and I'll take my business elsewhere. I've been and work with ppl all my life but never ever encountered a rude and ignorant employee as this woman at Things Remember in Peabody. If I got her name I would have put it down but I was too upset and left.

Honestly, the prices are fair and definitely cheaper than Home Depot or Lowes and tons more options to choose from. my biggest issue is the team members. You constantly get bombarded with them coming up to you and asking you about things. ALL OF THE TIME. And it gets a bit aggravating when you start to realize that they aren't always there to help you, but rather to get you to sign up for things and to ensure that their own name is attached to your purchase so it helps them out personally. I once had a pushy worker come up to my cart and scan all of my items so they would have it ready at the register but I wasn't finished shopping. It didn't matter what I told him, he was going to stop me and scan everything. It's a bit of a turn-off from me wanting to keep coming back, knowing that I will be continuously bothered the whole time. I've come to the conclusion that I need to go it here KNOWING what I am looking for and ignoring those that come up to me. This all being said, the store is big, clean, tons of options, and the return policy is great!! Just need a phone number, no more receipts!

They carried the crib to the second floor and set it up. Pick up was just as easy. We accidentally put our own crib sheets in with their linens. The crib was picked up before we realized it. Both items were already there when we arrived (they arrived before we did, even though i had requested delivery for the next morning...a pleasant surprise!) and they even included a rain cover for the jogging stroller because it was going to be a drizzly weekend. The items were in great condition and they made our trip so much more enjoyable. I was impressed with their service and items and would highly recommend.

Sales manager David provides me another option through exchange to help me to get the better price and waved restocking fee. I would say Costco or other big store has better return policy or may have better price match policy. The salesperson Bryan Perry was knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. I was able to track the delivery truck on the day of delivery and watch the progress of the truck's crew. They called fifteen minutes before arrival, arriving within the time frame mentioned. The two men delivering were clean, fast, and polite. My bed is very comfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase.

What an absolute disaster! I had two pieces framed at the N. My second piece had a huge defect in the frame. As I was returning my pieces, another customer came in to pick up hers. "This isn't the frame I ordered," she said. "This is gold; the one I chose was more silver." The guy at the store responded, "Well, this is what's written on your order..." The perplexed customer continued to express concern. The frame guy's response? "I think it looks nice. Take it home and live with it for a while. If you decide you don't like it, bring it back and we'll redesign it for you." How ridiculous is that? I visited Calico Corners because i wanted to purchase two drapery traverse rods and finials. It was…read morethe first store i went to and I was all set to move forward with the transaction until the installation charge was calculated. Installation was over $300.00 which I thought was excessive and exorbitant!!! I went to two other reputable local merchants, purchased from one, and in both cases the install charge was under 100.00. I contacted the Calico Corners website, inquired about the install fee, and have yet to get a response even though the site says a response in approx 24 hours. Still waiting!!!!!!!
