Once they got my money, communication became almost impossible. They rarely answer the phone, and when you finally do reach someone, the information you get is inconsistent and hard to believe. Be very careful when reviewing your final price before paying. They advertise "deal packages" and discounts, but extra charges seem to get added in unexpectedly. Make sure you read everything closely and verify every charge before signing or making payment. Customer service after the sale has been frustrating and unreliable. I expected honesty and professionalism, but unfortunately that was not my experience.

Everything in this small store is marked and neatly displayed. There's room between most of the items. Price wise it's not bad with some items reasonable and others on the side of a higher priced goodwill -- but better quality. All items seem clean and in good shape. In any case I'd much rather purchase estate items which are usually of a nicer quality than thrift, at a clean store like this. Also you are not having to drive around to multiple addresses. Everything I saw was in great condition. They had furniture, collectibles, mattresses, house hold goods, and even some clothes. If it makes up items in someone's household, they sell it. A wooden T.V.console was only $25. They had some nice knick knack shelves and I am currently studying my walls to see if they will accommodate them.I wanted to know if prices were firm or negotiable but the man who was working was chatting to someone else and I didn't want to interrupt. Since purchasing multiple items for my home before moving in (I've been living here since October), I've consistently received defective or incorrect products. I've had the wrong sofa delivered twice, a dining table delivered three separate times with defects, and a recliner that arrived looking used with worn leather. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication and follow-up. I've called multiple times asking for the manager, Alex, and sent emails to team members I previously worked with, but received no response. I was also promised follow-up from Dean, which never happened. After spending over $20,000, I still don't have what I originally ordered months later. At this point, I've lost all confidence in the company and am demanding a full refund. Anything that breaks or damaged is not considered accidental. Nothing is covered. The support slats on the bed broke and the mattress collapsed to the floor with my daughter in the bed. I live in a humidity controlled home. Instead of making good on the $250 slat cost refund, since I had bought an adjustable frame and didn't want the slats replaced for fear of breaking again, they would rather have me write a bad review. Poor quality, poor customer service. They do not stand behind their products. Manager's comments are "I can't do this"; "I can't do that". Don't let them fool you! Do not buy from Bassett!
