I have always had a great experience with the people working here and the inventory at this store. I love that they let me look rather than a more forward sales approach. I can appreciate that others like to be addressed and sold to immediately, but I really enjoy the sales style here. I love the location as well and like that it is not inside of a mall and the selection is great. They also have a wonderful discount section that changes frequently. Went into store several weeks ago to make large purchase. Nobody seemed interested in helping us. Even the clerk who ended up taking our pymt wasn't very enthusiastic and it took a very long time. It's a shame these sales associates are so rude and unhelpful. Aspen Grove is the best outdoor mall. When ever I visit this store I leave irritated. None of their stuff is marked or has price tags. Very few customers are in the store yet the associates act as if they are too busy or put off by a simple a customer question. yall should tag/label your merchandise if you want to sell it because interaction with your associates is down right unbearable. read more

I was in here a few times recently and at first no one helped us. We had to ask for help as many were on the phone. Then finally someone would help us and they were very friendly, helpful and seemed knowledgeable. They had a lot of the same type things. More variety of colors would be nice instead of the same stuff that other stores are carrying. Not much in stock. You had to order so being lured in by a sale you have to move fast to get the deal. read more

80% of the furniture sold by Pottery Barn is made in China. They charge $800 for a bench made in China from particle board and MDF. Some of the stuff looks nice but the quality seems suspect. The employees were nice and helpful. But overall Wayfair sells furniture made in America for much less money. And Room and Board sells much nicer furniture made America and Canada for the same price. read more

They said no problem. When we came in to bring back the item,the employee, Cindy was extremely rude. Good grief! It is hard to believe that PB stays in business! I ordered 2 (Expensive!) pillow shams on Oct.5 to be delivered in two weeks. Then I was told that the shams were on backorder and would be delivered Nov. 19. I am still waiting and waiting and waiting. No communication from PB, no merchandise, no nothing! This is the second bad experience I have had with this business. The first involved a coffee table that they got around to delivering 6 months late. By that time I had cancelled my order, but they tried to deliver it anyway and charged me for it on my credit card. Never again, Pottery Barn, never again! read more

It's actually humorous to me how terrible the service is here, and looking back at these reviews over the last 4 years, you'd think someone from PB management would do something about these uptight customer service employees. Went in to make a lofty purchase - a bed, console table, etc, and I literally waved down two employees (afternoon shift on 01/08/21 if anyone from PB even reads this), and was just brushed aside. I agree with the worst customer experience ever experience. My daughters and I went in to find a gift. We were right next to the checkout counter exploring and no one... ever left from behind the counter to say good afternoon, can I help you, nothing. Then after we found a gift to purchase we were told they would only honor the reduced price if it was offered online. To which my comment was - interesting that you will not honor the pricing on your merchandise. Everything about our experience was negative. Even after we purchased - I am sorry we do not have a box that size. Here is what I say to the pottery barn in Littleton - never again NO! Oh, by the way...don't ever sum up people's children and make negative comments. We have had multiple positive experiences at this Pottery Barn. Brian helped us with the purchase of furniture. The service received has been above our expectations. My husband and I were very happy with the assistance he gave us in selecting the furniture in addition to tracking the multiple orders for us. We have worked with two other sales associates at this location and have been happy with all of our interactions. We haven't had our furniture long enough for me to comment on the quality but so far we're very happy with the look of everything. read more

My nit is with their shipping charges, here's a breakdown I did based on a recent purchase from Pottery Barn(incidentally still waiting for the item to be delivered, three weeks and counting) Crate and Barrel shipping vs Pottery Barn If if you're having stuff delivered, I'd stick with either Crate and barrel or a local furniture store(Airhaus for ex is roughly $80 for local delivery) I bought two items from both stores in the past few weeks, coincidentally the SAME price yet when all is said and done, the Pottery Barn item ended up costing nearly 19% or $187 MORE than the one from C and B: here's the breakdown: Pottery Barn price of item(on "sale") : $999 delivery charge: $150 shipping and processing: $99.90 (huh??) tax: 96.42 total: $1,345.32 More than a quarter of the merchandise cost in shipping fees!!!!!!!! 9.65 % tax, 7.71% on shipping fees + merchandise(this must be illegal?) Crate and Barrel: merchandise cost: $999.00 shipping and handling : $79.00 tax $79.98 total: $1157.98 delivery windows 2-4 hours long as early as two business days away price difference for same price point item $187.34 (18.75%) MORE at Pottery barn. I cannot think of furniture/homegoods store that is more expensive than Pottery Barn. Seriously, $3k+ for a couch? No thanks. That said, the stuff here is absolutely beautiful and I love to window shop for ideas. You think you're getting quality when you spend so much on a product for your home, but unfortunately that's not the case at Pottery barn. I registered at Pottery Barn for my wedding gifts in 2008. We got a full set of the Great White dishes. Unfortunately, most of the plates and pasta bowls have not held up. After only 5 years, about half of them have chips and cracks just from going through the dishwasher (even though they're supposed to be dishwasher safe!). The Corelle dishes I that I bought at Walmart my freshman year of college (2006), in contrast, look exactly the same now as the day I bought them. My advice if you're thinking of registering here: be careful which set you choose, or better yet, register somewhere else. read more

I stopped by one morning to look at a console table, coffee table, and a couple of lights and was planning to make a purchase. There was a woman sales associate behind one of the counters and I said hi and she immediately cut me off and told me it was her "office day" and I'd need to find someone else to help me. So I walked around the store and the two other associates were busy - one was on the phone and the other was with another customer. On my way out the door (3 minutes) lo and behold the first associate was happily helping another (male; I am female) customer. I've bought sooo much from Pottery Barn. The rudeness was unreal to me. We came to check out a light fixture we had seen online. After browsing, we were unable to find it. Talia noticed us and stepped up to assist. She was super friendly, knowledgable and professional. She found us one of the last two of this particular light fixture in the country, assisted with the sale, and made sure we knew about all applicable discounts. I have to admit, I am kinda shocked at giving such a good review. To start, this location suffers from loads of large products packed into a very small store. In addition, as I was purchasing a wedding present, I was already in a less than pleasant mood. (It is entirely different when I am out buying things that I want for me). They didn't have my first choice from the registry in stock and referred me to another Pottery Barn across town if I wanted that product. So, I went one price point higher on the registry (yes, I am that wedding guest), found what I wanted and took it to the registry. This is where the review jumps from a two star to a four star review. The worker who came over to take my money for the products I was purchasing was AN ABSOLUTE JOY TO WORK WITH. First, I guess my annoyance was noticeable, as she seemed to take care of me as a nearly hostile customer. Took care of my purchase, kept the conversation light and pleasant, offered to wrap the present (another practice I loathe, so WAY TO GO!), and suggested that while they wrapped my present, I could run over to Starbucks and it should be done right after I was done. So, I came back after a visit there (ok, also to Noodles & Co) and when I came back, I had to wait in line a their customer service area (disorganized and slow, dropping the review back into the 3 star range) but once I spoke with them, the female I was working with was found, made sure everything was taken care of and out I went. This is definitely the case of one worker really making a huge difference on a busy Saturday afternoon. read more

Worst customer service ever! I was in, just browsing in the late afternoon, so they were not busy at all, no one greeted me, ask if I needed anything or even smiled to say hi. When I went to check out, there wasn't anyone around to help. I tracked an associate down, who was re-decorating an area, he didn't say a word except spoke into his headset & said, can someone ring up a customer? I stopped in yesterday to do some holiday shopping. The store had maybe 6 customers in it and 3 associates. Worst customer service I have ever had in a PB store. All 3 ladies working were behind the cash wrap chatting and drinking coffee, after about 15 minutes I just left and took my business to Crate. Overall a great experience buying furniture. We purchased a sectional couch, chair and ottoman. Robin was great to work with and even though it was close to closing she staying and walked us through the process. The items arrived on time and the guys delivering were professional and courteous. I've been a Pottery Barn customer for over a decade but will stick to online ordering from now on rather than deal with the surly staffers at the Aspen Grove store. I spent about an hour there today selecting two MATCHING lamps, correcting the salesperson on the pricing that was shown (to include the shade), only to find when I got home that they had given me lamps with different finishes. Called the store and got a flippant response from the guy that answered the phone to just bring it back and they would then check to see if they had one in stock. Um, no, how about you do your job and check to see if you have one before I haul this big box back in. He threw me on hold and put another snide coworker on who also couldn't be bothered to check. Honestly, is it that difficult to check your inventory when I'm giving you the exact product info? Spent :10 on hold, and none in stock but they'll order it when I come in. Yah, I don't think so. You can refund my $600 and find another schmuck to deal with your bad attitudes. read more

Wow. Such a let down in customer contact/service. I called this location inquiring if I needed an appointment and was told as long as I made it there within the hour I could walk in. Both my wife and I headed right over from a different Pottery Barn location and we were greeted by a locked door at first and then a young associate opened it. I explained my phone call earlier to her in which she proceeded to lock the door and get I assume a manager. The door was reopened and another associate attempted to get more info from me regarding why we were there. I appreciate the safety policies surrounding Covid however it was almost as if they just did not want to help us. We both had face masks on as well. This particular location is not representative of Pottery Barn. My wife and I are long time fans of the product however we will not shop this location again. The management team at this location should take notice specific to customer contact. It's the silent ones you never hear from are the customers you really will never get back. read more

I've never written a review but I was so upset by my experience that I had no other choice. A year ago I purchased a beautiful sofa. I noticed after a few months that when I vacuumed the cushions the inner stuffing would come out. It turned out that the inner cushion wasn't lined like the other ones. After weeks of trying to resolve the issue the company told me there was nothing they could do. One of the sales associates kindly hand sewed a lining for me. A nice gesture but unprofessional on the part of the company at large. Despite this I love the sofa and made the mistake of purchasing a love seat in a similar style. I went to move the sofa today and there is a huge gash down the back that was made when they delivered the sofa. I'm so disappointed. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I've now been holding or talking to incompetent service reps for an hour and 20 minutes and like to multitask. I originally purchased a bed set 6/1, scheduled to arrive 6/20. It's now 7/15 and I just learned it will be delayed 1 more week. I'm now working to have the payment charge delayed a month in response to the delayed shipment and have been transferred 5 times. Their furniture is great but I will simply never shop here again. read more

THE FACTS: Everything seemed great at first, even with the $2500 couch I wanted on back order for a couple months. My delivery was finally scheduled for today between 11am-1pm. When the delivery guy called at 10:30am and said he would be there by 11, or 11:05 at the latest, I left work and drove home to meet them. At 11:15 I called to ask if they needed directions. The delivery driver stated that they were 5 minutes away. At 11:35 I called him back to ask for an update and was told that he was 48 seconds away (don't ask me where he got the number, my GPS doesn't give the seconds to destination so, yes, I thought it was a little strange). I was waiting outside for them for another 20 minutes before calling and leaving him a voicemail (he didn't answer this time). I finally got fed up with waiting and called Pottery Barn because I had to get back to work (I had been waiting for delivery for more than an hour at this point) and I had the delivery rescheduled for Sunday. SUMMARY: The delivery driver straight-up lied to me on the phone about when he was going to be there and I ended up waiting for more than an hour after the time he told me before having to cancel. I called customer service and they rescheduled delivery and waived the $100 delivery fee. Everyone I spoke with (aside from the delivery driver) was very helpful and courteous. The late delivery doesn't bother me nearly as much as being lied to by the delivery driver. Because of customer service, I will continue to shop at Pottery Barn but I doubt I will trust the delivery ETA next time. read more

Update from my post on 1/2/2016. We finally received the bed, but they did not have the hardware to assemble the bed. They left the bed and said they would return with the hardware (could not provide a specific date). However, a new issue has come up. UPHOLSTERED BEDS FROM POTTERY BARN ARE SPRAYED WITH A TOXIC PROTECTANT. The bed frame was in our house and my husband started having severe breathing problems. The smell was coming from the bed. When I phoned Pottery Barn they confirmed that there had been other similar reports. I have now been trying to have them come pick up the bed, but again getting them to come to your house is a challenge. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM POTTERY BARN! IT IS NOT WORTH THE HEALTH RISKS AND THE OVERALL AGGREGRAVATION YOU WILL ENCOUNTER! read more
