In the past they have been great to repair our chainsaw blades. However they have had this tiller for 6 months. They continually said, come tomorrow, we will have it done. In trust, he would go there to pick it up. Never done. Unfortunately, he passed away July 3rd. I went there mid July and they promised I could pick it up the next day. So now it's 6 months later, still not done. I took it home today, but thank you Grove Outdoor Power for making us a priority. So many of our friends never got their equipment back either. Rather than look to see if they'd received any dimensions, the guy starts rolling on how they don't do these pieces ahead of time because sometimes people don't show up. Fine, I'd said that I figured they would wait until someone was there. Gave them my son's name, and the guy repeated himself about not doing it ahead of time, and if they had anything, it would be written down (waves his arm). He didn't even look, so I said my son's name again. He keeps repeating that they don't do it ahead of time. I told him again, he would have called with what he needed, and that he'd send someone to get it. So he asks me what he needs, and I said again, I don't know, he'd called a hardware store on Douglas with what he needed, and I'm not sure if I'm at the right one. He asks oh, he's not answering? Um, no, I don't even know what shape he wants, and he starts arguing over only doing 90 degree angles... well, squares & rectangles are 90 degree angles, and they're different shapes, and I didn't have a size. I was asking if they had the dimensions that my son called in so they could do it, or do I need to go to the other store. If he didn't remember the name, and there's no paper, the appropriate answer would have been, "No, sorry, we can't help you". Yes, I caught it the 1st time when he said that, and he's arguing about how I'm repeating myself. I was asking if they had the dimensions my son called in, it's a yes or no answer... And if that was a yes, now they can cut it now that I'm here, but no, the dude wants to go on repeat about not doing it ahead of time. So when I finally said I'm not arguing with him, he called ME ridiculous, when he clearly wasn't understanding my question, as a native speaker of Midwestern English. A pre-ORDER is not the same as pre-MADE. Just like you can't get a key cut without coming in with a key, fine, they won't cut fiberglass until the customer comes in to actually buy it... but did they get the request or didn't they? The answer would have been a yes or a no. Not an argument of what they do or don't make at the store ahead of time or not. Their customer service really stinks back there. The cashier was nice, though.

At first we didn't think anyone would be home and they told us to just leave the mower out and they'd fix it. REMEMBER THIS, they would have had to call us eventually to tell us it was repaired or ask what was wrong in the first place. My grandparents were the only ones home so they answered when the technician arrived. They are from another country, English is not their first language. They tried their best to explain what was wrong but didn't get the message across, my mother was at work but was available to call and translate for the technician but he REFUSED. My grandma ended up calling her herself and held the phone up to explain what was wrong, (the mower wouldn't start) a back and forth argument ensued about how my grandparents told him one thing and my mom was telling him another. And eventually he ended up spraying starting fluid and charging $120 for it and leaving. My mother later decided to text the company and let them know their technician was extremely rude and unprofessional about the entire situation. Just know if you are a US citizen that speaks English as a second language YOU ARE NOT A VALUED CUSTOMER HERE. We offered a way to remediate the situation and you refused and argued, that's on you not us. Do better. In the texts he mentions we should have been onsite and that they can't do the job if they can't communicate with us, yet they tell us to leave the mower outside when nobody is home? That doesn't add up, which do you want? If anyone takes the time to read this just know I'm not making this review because my feelings were hurt, I'm making this review because people deserve to know the kind of service they're paying for. This company's lack of professionalism, blatant disregard for customer communication, and discriminatory attitude toward non-native English speakers is unacceptable. Businesses that operate with such poor standards and hostility toward their customers should not be rewarded with your hard-earned money. Take your business elsewhere--somewhere that values all customers equally and treats them with the respect they deserve.

In and out in 25 min. I have used my snowblower 3x so far and my shifter works like a charm after not working the best for years. The fact that he came to my house was essential for me. Joe Medinger was informative regarding different brands and models. He put gas and oil in the machine I bought, gave me a brief lesson on how to operate and even loaded it into the bed of my truck. And 30 minutes after walking into Medingers, I was clearing off my driveway. I did not receive any of the poor service the other Yelpers did. In fact, the previous reviews almost kept me away. But I'm a supporter of local businesses. I'm I sure glad I gave them a chance. You should too!
