I came in Wednesday afternoon for a snack and a beer. I was drawn to this place because of the "Wednesday beer special - $5 draft". I also thought the $12 "OG quesadilla" looked good. So i ordered a draft beer and that quesadilla. I was a little surprised when I got the check that my total before tip was $26. The beer was not discounted and was $8.50, and the "OG quesadilla" is not $12, it was $16. They must've thought I wouldnt notice because they probably get away with it all the time. We arrived early on a Friday afternoon roughly 4 pm. It was ladies night with $10 martinis and half priced wine although the choices were limited. The music was definitely boomer music - 70s, 80s and 90s classics. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and then headed out of there by 6:30 pm without ordering any food. It was pretty much empty until 5:45 or so. The one thing that we did not like at all is that we clearly wrote in the tip which ended in a six dollar amount and then when the charge came through, they had changed it to an eight. Fancied this spot before heading to a comedy show with friends. It wasn't crowded at all, which was a plus. We walked in and chose our own seats. This was a Sunday, so all the games were being played on the various TVs. Our server, Andrea, was the BEST! She was attentive and knew the menu well. She gave great recommendations and we really enjoyed them. The hype about the wings is real; they are so tender and fall off the bone. Fantastic spot for a casual weekday hang out with friends!! After a very busy summer we realized we hadn't seen in each other in a while. One of us was craving wings so we turned to instagram to find bottomless wings in Chicago! After a bit of scrolling we stumbled upon Pour Decisions! It's $20 for bottomless wings. They have multiple flavors to pick from and each comes with ranch or blue cheese! 8 wings come in each basket. We tried the buffalo, pour decisions mix, teriyaki, garlic parm and the spicy Unami! 100/100 Hands down. Droped in randomly on a Thursday evening and they had a $10 burger special. Why not right? Yeahhhh we made a really good choice. Our server was phenomenal and sweet. Very attentive and knew how to help us make food decisions. To pair with my burger I ordered the blood on the leaves cocktail which is whiskey base. The bartender did not disappoint and it was incredibly strong. Definitely a sipper type of cocktail. The medium well done burger was charred perfectly on the outside while still super juicy on the inside. I literally can swear that this burger melted in my mouth. Good place to go if you make lots of poor decisions. It certainly can make you feel better it seems. Pour Decisions is one of the newer places in Lincoln Park for getting drinks, food, and whatever. Has live entertainment. The prices aren't that good, but aren't that bad for the area to be honest. Came in the evening after a busy time and needed some good drinks and food. It has the good drinks at least. The food was pretty average, and on top of that, expensive for that kind of stuff. It's about $12 for the cheapest cocktail. Too much. I got the Lincoln Park Paloma, because it was the cheapest. We got the Black Truffle Fries. It's $12, but it's big. The food options are pretty lacking and not much besides greasy fried type of stuff. For the average food and prices, we may not come back. It's in a hip area, so they can get away with it. Came here for a drink & an apps before our dinner reservation across the street. Place had a lot of specialty options. They did have a half off happy hour (but basically any of the specialty cocktails were included). There was no signage or promotion to this (we were basically told this after we decided on our drinks). Price range is pretty high. Literally had a fantastic experience here, and I almost never rate bars!! My friend and I walked in around 9 on a Friday night - within a minute an employee who wasn't even working the bar greeted us, and informed us it was Ladies Night and told us the specials. It was kind of packed with nowhere to sit, but a minute later ANOTHER employee came and grabbed us and said hey, there's two seats at the bar you two can have. So kind, I can't remember the last time an employee helped me find a seat! We ordered espresso martinis and I swear the bartender made them in a minute. Our total was $36 for 4 espresso martinis which is insane in this city. They were also playing good country music and I don't even like country music. When you look at the location and the name and the menu there is a bit of a identity crisis. The name would suggest raucus partying like Halligans or somewhere in the Viagra Triangle, but the menu suggests elevated pub/gastro esque and the bar has cocktails that sound worthy by name only. I mean what's going on here. While they are brand new and finding their foot I can't help but notice, but the drinks scream Tavern/Pub along with the TV's. Yelp makes it difficult as there is no difference in a cocktail bar and craft cocktails. I feel like John Taffer came in here and tried to rescue this, but the owner relapsed or whoever consulted on this place has only worked at 1 craft cocktail bar because the set up kinda makes sense, but doesn't have the direction/vision of someone seasoned. It's a new face to LP and it's close to my place. Food was slightly elevated bar food, think fast casual. $42 dry aged rib eye is a steak I was too skeptical to get and yet to also mention no one dry ages choice, but unaged prime would be took expensive, then I thought well it might just be the eye and no spinalis. My worry did not overpower my curiosity. Lobster rolls, but Chicago style got the best of my. It's a great concept as far as creativity, but the toppings overpower the simple yet elegantly bold flavors we expect from any lobster roll. Fries were good, under salted though. They could have warmed the plates to hold temp a little better, just because it's spring isn't a reason to change protocol. Service was great, bar staff was nice, prices were affordable to maybe even cheap. The drinks were all riff's on classics, single ingredient swaps with a proper garnish. Nothing elevated or complex, but those names sure sound inviting. This has the signs that someone took a menu from somewhere else and tweaked it for this place and the owner changed the names. There is no vision. I tried getting a Black Manhattan because even though they are new I didn't trust their vermouth. None to be found. I love the deep grate, but it's not really a storage for glassware. A little saline, a little acid, some house made ingredients and a few cocktail books would turn this place around. Hopefully they curate the experience a little better rather than mish mash things. I wish the best for them. I'll be back because frankly for me patio season makes me want to travel less than when it's dead of winter. I spent my 20's trying to find myself, hopefully they don't take that long. read more

My party came here for drinks. We ordered the Chicago-Politan and the Unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon. Highly recommend the Chicago-Politan, we repeated our rounds 3x. The servers name on the receipt says Michael, and he was very friendly and sincere. We interacted like we already knew each other. We looked over the menu and were given a fair amount of time to review. We hadn't picked when he came back the 2nd time, and as a challenge said to him that we'd pick our drinks in 10 seconds. He counted and we picked great drinks. I would like to go back. I don't care if I get greeted or not, I think we were greeted, they let us pick our seating. The inside was well setup and decorated. Gratuity not included on purpose? My friends and I stopped over last night, randomly picking Pour Decisions bc it's halfway between our apartments. We were so delighted to discover it was ladies night and that wine was half off and I also got a reduced price espresso martini that I enjoyed. Service was not great but the server was so friendly and cool and the only person we saw serving, so we gave her a pass even though we had to keep asking for water refills. Ok here's where the feeling was not right: gratuity. We were charged an automatic gratuity and that was not anywhere on the menu and not communicated to us by the waitress. The credit charge had a tip line on it, so naturally, I paid because that's the receipt I looked at and it didn't say gratuity included and the server didn't say the usual Chicago line about extra gratuity if you choose. It's on me that I didn't realize until later that there was a gratuity included on the original receipt ( though percentage not indicated), but I imagine this happens a lot to people, especially people who just get drinks. It's honestly a turn off to going back. I've never been to a bar or other establishment in Chicago that hasn't made their policy clear. read more

This place is so confusing to me. There's a real identity crisis going on. There's a bunch of TVs which makes it feel like a sports bar but then it's also trying to be a cocktail bar but also feels like a pub. Everything was also incredibly sticky. It was not very clean at all which was concerning. Table had food scraps still on it, glassware was sticky, menus had remnants of sticky food, there was no place that felt clean. All that aside the food was just awful. I hate to say it but it was pretty inedible. Everything tasted like it had been frozen and heated up in a microwave. The dressing for the salad was also 100% store bought. Their prices are downright ridiculous for what they are serving and the shadiest part of all is that they add a 4% fee to each item without even telling you. Our bill arrived much higher than what was advertised on the menu. I will say the service was great so that was nice but I'd highly avoid this place. Super unfortunate. read more

Worst service I have ever had in Chicago, do not go here , the bartenders are rude and the service is bad

First of all, the staff was extremely welcoming to my party and me, even after having a few drinks before entering the bar. The bartender was extremely light hearted and funny and took our orders very quickly, including our food orders and do NOT miss out on the food. Each of us ordered something different but NONE of us were disappointed in the slightest, actually the opposite! Which is very impressive considering there was one lone soldier in the back as the chef, who is also the best damn chef alive (please try the fall off the bone wings, you will NOT be disappointed if you get the Pour Decision Sauce)! He was so nice that he even gave our table, who was already raving about his food, extra tenders he made just for the hell of it! The bar has great, diverse music as well and nice personalities floating in and out as well, so definitely give it a try! I normally don't even write reviews on Yelp, but they deserve it! 10/10 WILL come again, thank you all for taking care of us so well (if you ever see this!) read more

Just had our holiday party there from our place of employment and it was great. The room upstairs is very nice for a gathering like this. The bar service and food were outstanding. They also treated us very well from the time we inquired about having our party up until we paid the final bill. I would recommend to anyone to have an event here or just to hang out downstairs at the bar for food and drinks. First the good: The interior of the place looks great. It is recently opened, and they did a great job with the interior design and build out. It also has TVs all around perfect for watching sports. The bar looked well equipped, although I only got a beer, but the liquor selection looks great, and the beer list is also excellent. Now the not so good: The food was not good. We ordered the cheese sticks, wings, lobster roll, and a hamburger. All the food was just ok at best and downright awful for some. The fries and the cheese sticks were ok, not horrible but not remarkable. The lobster roll was pretty bad. If you are familiar with the lobster rolls in New England, this is not that. It's more like the consistency of canned tuna salad but perhaps made with lobster. I'm not sure, but it tasted pretty bad - I took one fork full and had to force myself to swallow it. The rolls themselves were hard and tasteless. The hamburger was tasted like a frozen burger from the grocery store cooked without any seasoning. It was bland and tasteless. This was my first visit and they are newly opened so I hope things improve. I'll go back and give them another try in a couple of weeks. I hope they've worked out the kinks with the food by then. I really hope they are successful because they are located in my neighborhood and it would be great to have another nice bar/dining choice locally. read more

They had a live jazz band that didn't feel out of place even though everyone was there for sports. Our server Zumiya was the best!
