We had the chicken marsala over angel hair and a house salad. The chicken marsala was cooked just right with the mushrooms and marsala sauce coating the pasta just right. The NFL playoffs were going on so we sat in the bar and watched the game, but we could hear Frank Sinatra gently singing a Summers Rain in the main dining area. Christie our waitress was very attentive and helped us pick out our dish. We finished with a tiramisu and double espresso. did I mention the portions are very large an overall great dining experience and the next time we're in town will be paying them a visit.

Plus, on more than one occasion Diane and I had previously arrived here around 8:30 p.m. and were warmly greeted, seated, and enjoyed our ordered meals. But this Sunday night two days after Halloween, after we had crossed the Colorado River on the Don Laughlin Bridge and had driven for half an hour from our home in Laughlin, we arrived at 8:25 p.m. only to find the restaurant dark and locked, with nobody inside. Granted this was the first day of a time change in California and Nevada from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time. But this circumstance should have had no effect on Arizona, whose time zone remained the same as the day before. Disappointed, we went in search of another place to eat dinner, and after encountering the kitchen staff of China Panda in the restaurant's parking lot about to leave for home half an hour earlier than its posted closing hour, finally wound up at reliable Black Bear Diner. We were the only patrons seated in the entire capacious restaurant until a few other people walked inside about 15 minutes later This spooky night felt like Halloween, but the tricks and added hunger we experienced occurred just a bit later.

We stayed 5.5 miles away, on the River Walk, made the leisurely return drive to Bonito once we saw the colorful frontage on an earlier foray into Bullhead City for necessary provisions once we RECOILED from the sky high prices at the Harrah's Tropicana (ex, $7.49 for a 20oz jar of Diet Pepsi). BG greets its guests with festive, brightly painted dark orange. We began our course with a titanic mango margarita. To their credit, they feature warmed bean dip topped with crumbled queso fresco as an accompaniment to their chips/salsa. Leti, after choosing BG for its seafood heavy menu, threw a curve and opted for a bowl of birria soup. I chose an Asada Chimichanga with a duo of asada tacos dorados. The tortillas are handmade and delicious! Both Leti and I marveled at the quality of the house Mexican rice, super fresh, fluffed and teeming with a light, florid tomato-dense taste complimented by Lima beans. Quite the refreshing departure from the bland rice dispensed by 90% of Mexican restaurants! My wife said that her Caldo de Birria was good...but that it wasn't super plentiful in meat. My chimi arrived golden brown with a heap of melted cheddar jack cheese bullseyed on the top. The interior is studded with asada, bell peppers and onions. First time I've ever seen bell peppers utilized inside burritos! The asada crunchy (dorado) tacos were generously stuffed with asada...but zero accompaniments like onions/cilantro/lettuce or tomato. I hadta redeploy the lettuce/tomato served alongside my chili, inside my tacos! If you're gonna charge $5/Taco at least send them properly attired! Gentle suggestion: Consider offering guests a side serving of fresh lettuce, tomato, diced onions and cilantro to dress up their tacos. Or, serve them with a ramekin of steamy birria broth... The mango marg was not "super sweet" (as our server Daniela had described) and we both thought it was stingy on the tequila, esp for its $16.99 belt, er, tab. Our bill was $86 incl taxes and tip for two entrees, a cocktail and a soda.

We got seated very quickly and there was live music for our entertainment. We ordered a couples share which let us pick a starter and then we had a choice of soup or salad and an entree for each of us. All of our food was really hot and tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent. Wish we had room for dessert because the chocolate cake looked so tasty. We will be coming back for more another night.

I ordered the Shrimp Platter, it was 100/100, best sautéed shrimp I have ever tasted! Came with a choice of a side salad or soup. As you can see I ordered a Cesar salad. All salads come with the dressing on the side so you can add as much as you like, I prefer and appreciate that. For my drink I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita with a sugared rim, blended, which also was a 100/100. All around everything I ordered was delicious, I wasn't disappointed at all! When my family and I come back to bull head city we will for sure come here again! ***They have two payment options with two different amounts, one if you use cash and one if you use credit card which is 3% added***

Kalbi was tender, taste was alright. Maybe needed little more season or maybe marinate meat a little longer. Seaweed salad was excellent and fresh. Perfectly season and refreshing. The avocado salad was okay. I was hoping more than half an avocado. Wish they added cucumber or shredded imitation crab meat. The bullhead is like a lion king roll. Pretty good. Overall the prices was not too bad. I would go back if I was in the area. I do recommend this place . The wait staffs are very nice and attractive.

The first night we got there, we went to one Sushi place called "The Sushi Spot" that was just awful. On our last night, we decided to look for another Sushi place, and we thought this place looked more decent and came here. We wanted just a booth and not the food show, and we got a booth. I noticed the music was very loud; I have never seen a sushi place have the music this loud and playing '80s music. I couldn't even hear the waiter. Their menu also looked so weird, and so much stuff looked the same. The waiter talked really fast. I asked the same question, and so did my friend: what was the deal with the Sushi and Sashimi 3 piece was? He told us two different versions of what it was, and neither made sense. I asked about the Bento box, something I have ordered at many other Sushi places in LA. I asked how the beef was done; he said is shaved beef. I have never even heard of shaved beef in a Sushi place?. I told him all the Bento box beef was BBQ and grilled, and he said not this one. My friend ordered the Bento box with salmon, and his was semi-decent, but the fish was very oily, deep-fried in hot oil. I waited and then ordered the Mahi Mahi, but I didn't understand what it comes with; he said that one is grilled. The food took a while to get there and when it came, it was really awful. The fish was so tiny; the sides were steamed rice and regular pasta and some vegetables that looked came out of a can. I ate the fish and some of the rice, but the pasta was disgusting. I pushed my dish to the side to be removed. This was the second Sushi place we went to in Bullhead City, and it was very disappointing. There is nothing worse than bad food served by a rude, arrogant waiter, I rarely write food reviews, but avoid this place, this is not a real Sushi place. If you want to eat great food, then go to a place called SaltGrass inside the Golden Nugget; the best food and atmosphere with a great view of the Colorado river. That was the best place we ate in Bullhead City.
