My family and I have frequented Wilmington for over 7 years now and in all that time we've never come across a Taproom as diverse, open, and comfortable as Pour. The services are top notch with excellent options on tap, wine selections (also on tap), and an atmosphere that is so unique. And if you are in the mood for a cocktail, the bars are well stocked. The times we have gone the staff have been just great. Friendly and smiling they are quick to assist and make great recommendations. The second floor is a continuation of comfort and beautiful architecture. And the adults only game room has all the standard bar entertainment, plus a few more. Food options are a no-go. Recommend eating before arrival. All in all, Pour is a must stop for anyone checking out the downtown Wilmington area. read more

Got a large soft pretzel with brown mustard and beer cheese and it was exactly what you expect of a soft pretzel. Easily fed three people while we enjoyed our drinks. I love trying a wide variety of the options. Today, I tasted all the ciders and loved most of them. Great place to hang out and I love that there space. It's not crowded. Another great experience at Pour Taproom! My family was celebrating my mom's birthday- we started at Axes and Allies and then headed to Pour for dinner and some beverages. We had several of the flatbreads (my favorite one is the chicken pesto) and a quesadilla. This was before the switch to Shaka Tacos which is also delicious! As a non-beer drinker, my favorite thing is that I can go to Pour and enjoy ciders or wine with all the beer lovers I know. We have a similar concept in Augusta where I'm from but this blows them out of the water. They have a wine cellar in an old bank vault as well as ciders, sours, Belgian beers, light beer, IPA, and dark beers. They also have a selection of NC IPAs upstairs and a game room. Another cool find on my weekend trip to Wilmington. ''Twas the night before Christmas and after checking into my hotel, I wondered what I might find for a light snack and evening drink. After walking a bit, I doubled back and finally decided upon this place. I enjoyed the friendly welcome, Christmas decor, & mellow Christmas tunes playing in the background. The staff immediately gave a run down of the place to us and even gave us a preview of our wrist bands for the large beer selection. I started with one of the local pineapple brews. Each station gives a very detailed profile for each selection. The chicken tenders I ordered in mild sauce were ok. The crab cake sandwich was yummy & the chips as well. Hey there! I just wanted to tell you about this amazing taproom I discovered the other day. The atmosphere, the people and of course the beer,Cider and wine selection are all top-notch. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the friendliest staff. They were happy to chat with me about the different brews on tap and recommended a few options based on my preferences. As I sipped my Cider, I took in the surroundings. The taproom has an open layout with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. There are large communal tables where groups of people were laughing and socializing over a few pints. It really seemed like a place where everyone felt comfortable. It's two story with a cool little game room upstairs. The beer selection is what really sets this taproom apart though. They have over 20 beers on tap from a wide range of styles. In addition to the usual IPAs, lagers and ales, they also had some more unique options like upscale Wines. The brews are from both their own brewery as well as several local and regional craft breweries. Early for dinner and thirsty, I landed in Pour for about two hours where I tasted a good number of beers and remained sober enough to have a nice dinner later. Pour is one of the new-fangled self-service taprooms. You'll get an RFID wristband to start and when you pick your beer, scan it on the machine and pull the tap. The amount of beer you pour is tracked by the ounce. They're doing a pretty good job of COVID precautions with clear places to put your dirty glasses, a big setup of clean glasses and lots of sanitizing stations all about. People still do dumb stuff, but as long as you sanitize before and after pouring your beer, you'll be fine. Lots of seating options upstairs and down. There's plenty of distancing between the setups. There are two huge mounted televisions tuned in to sports. I found a wifi and did pretty well. Nice spot, lots of different flavors and styles of beer. The local Wilmington beers are upstairs and I'd suggest going there if you can because you won't have people breathing down on you. Very clean restrooms. Someone put some money into this place - Service, 5 stars - Self service. Get your own beer from the wall. Order food from the counter. They bring your food to you but you order from the front. I do recommend and look forward to coming back. Long Review Here's the deal. You walk in and go to the counter. You give them a credit card, which they give back after recording, and they give you a rubber bracelet. The bracelet is your keys to the beer wall (self serve). You grab a glass from the rack, find the beer you want, place the bracelet next to the sensor, and BOOM you pour your beer. They got an impressive selection of beers to choose from. Darks, IPAs, ciders, etc.. Most are local I believe. The screen at each beer even gives you a run down about it. You do get charged by the ounce. There are throw away plastic cups if you want to sample before committing. There is a wall of wine in another room, but the wine selection is not as impressive. Also, the wine by the ounce here is a little expensive. How about the food Tim? The food is okay. We tried the guacamole and two flatbreads. The menu has sandwiches, burgers and flatbreads, with a decent appetizer selection. The guacamole was decent, but I would not order the flatbreads again. They didn't suck but just very pedestrian. I LOVE this place. If you're a beer enthusiast like me, you'll probably spend your time here hovering around the taps and sampling everything. When you arrive, you get a wristband that you use to select beers to pour. You get charged by the ounce and can select as many as you like. Your wristband does have a limit on how much you can get, but they'll reset it for you in the front if needed. Downstairs, there are domestic and international craft beers. The beers rotate every time the switch out a keg, so you'll always find new things to try. There is also a wine room. Upstairs is where they keep the local beers. There is ample seating in this huge venue and you can take clean cups or wash out the cup you're using. They do special events, like trivia. I went for Parks and Recreation trivia once and it was packed. They also have discounts on Thursdays (at the time I went) and specials throughout the week. I'll often come here when waiting for a table at the Copper Penny, since it is in easy walking distance. This place is the absolute best and I could go here every night for the rest of my life and be happy. read more

This place is awesome, I love the concept of pouring your own beer. They offer tons of choices (even wine in the back). You can pour yourself a large glass or keep sampling. I had a few good beers, loved the peach beer. They mostly have a good selection of NC, local beers which is awesome to get to try the local beers. They have pint glasses and smaller glasses, I wish they had a board so you could make your own sampler so you don't have to keep going back after a few ounces. read more

We had a business meeting happy hour here and it was a great experience. There's a huge selection of beer taps to choose from and even a separate "safe" room with wine taps. They had decorated extensively for Halloween when we were there on 10/18/21. We ordered some specialty drinks from the bar and they were great as well. All of the food we ordered was excellent, especially the spinach artichoke dip and flatbreads. We had reserved the upstairs area but spent the entire time downstairs since it wasn't crowded. The staff was great to work with and we really enjoyed this venue. It was within walking distance of our hotel so that was great as well. Pour Taproom in Wilmington is super cool!  What an awesome idea and experience.  If you've heard of them before, yes, they are in Asheville, Charleston, Durham, Greenville, Knoxville, Santa Cruz, and St. Petersburg.  But the one in Wilmington, I mean come on, is the best.   Situated right on Front Stree in downtown, you are in the Wilmington mix of things.  This location too is in a beautiful renovated old bank building.  Again why Wilmington is way cooler than the others. The space is ample.  You have 20 or so taps down on the ground floor, plus the wine taps which are in the Vault.  Yes, I said Wine Tap.  Upstairs you have the local Wilmington breweries on tap as well as others in North Carolina.  Plenty of couches and seats up there too to have groups of 10 or more in your own space of the 2nd floor. And not to get to graphic here, but certainly a detail I cannot leave out, where else can you go into a men's restroom and do your business into a Keg.  What a surprise, very creative, and in line with everything else just unique about Pour Taproom.  Much success to you guys!  Glad you saw that Wilmington was a market you could plant roots in. What a concept. You take 40 or so beers and wine, put people in charge of their own pours and tastings, and charge by the ounce. How it works: you see the person at the front to register and get a wristband. You get a glass and visit a wall off beers, complete with a screen to give you info about each. This place is a blast. We've been here a couple times now, and I would say it's definitely a favorite. The taproom has a wide selection of beers, local and not, to choose from and try. You get 32 ounces loaded onto a wrist band, which allows you to make a selection on any of the beer taps (upstairs and downstairs) or wine taps in the bank vault you want to taste. Upstairs they have games, couches, and a counter area to relax at, where you can either people watch the downtown area outside or (from the counter) people watch everyone on the lower level of the taproom. The food is fast and delicious too. We ordered while in the midst of the Azalea Festival during a packed house, and our food still only took about 20 minutes to arrive. I really think this is a cool idea, I tried so many beers I don't remember which ones. but i took few pics of some of the ones that I liked. Awesome place if you are looking to try new beers and wines. If you are hungry they have a pretty decent menu as well. The bar has up and downstairs seating with a ton of room for large parties. You snag an electronic wristband that is attached to your card right when you walk in and use that to get your drinks, pretty neat! We recently moved to downtown Wilmington and were checking out the numerous bar options along Front Street. We entered the Pour Taproom to check out what they had to offer. We were rudely greeted by a women whom I presume was the manager and informed that the venue was closed due to a private party. We asked if we could just look around and we're denied.
