The BEST burger I've had in a while! Perfectly cooked med-well with just a tiny hint of pink. So juicy and delicious, fantastic beef flavor! I don't say this lightly--I've spent years perfecting my own burgers, and their meat is excellent. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Super frustrating experience. First, husbands wings did not have any sauce, when stated five times to be medium sauced. Second, I asked for cheddar cheese on a simple burger, came out with American cheese and very under cooked. My kids also had burgers...they were served with shredded white cheese. One kiddo asked for ceaser salad as side...received a regular house salad with ranch dressing. Then when I sent my burger back as it wasn't cooked--SO PINK--they would not originally correct it and said they would do 10% diccount?! One of our servers didn't know how to use the ordering system and seemed so ditsy and overwhelmed. I don't understand how the order was so screwed up, but completely ruined our evening!!!! My wife and I wanted to try another local spot for a late lunch before departing tomorrow. Unfortunately it wasn't the best overall experience. We ordered adult beverages, ordered their buffalo chicken dip, and noticed they had a TouchTunes Jukebox. We love them! There was just my wife and I, two guys talking, and the bartender. I decided to play the Jukebox and I guess it wasn't the music the bartender was expecting so she reset it and I lost four credits! And then she was a little apologetic saying oh he played that? You can play whatever you like and I said no thank you. The buffalo chicken dip was good. Seemed there might've been some cream cheese that wasn't fully mixed in, but it was still very tasty. My wife ordered the fried raviolis and I ordered 10 chicken wings with Cajun dry rub. The ravioli set up on the counter for a few minutes before she brought them over apologizing that they were out early and not with my chicken wings. A few minutes later, my chicken wings were done. With 10 chicken wings I would've expected about five drums and five flappers; however, it was eight flappers and two drums. Oh well. It was still pretty tasty. I had one of my wife's ride raviolis they were OK. Places that have TouchTunes jukebox should really check with people before they bounce songs or give them a free beer if they decide to bounce them. read more

Camping in the area and decided to try this place for dinner with friends. The place is pretty small. The service was SLOW! Our server was nice but seemed overwhelmed with the amount of tables she had. Food was actually pretty good. My chicken tenders had good flavor. The cheese fries came with a cheese sauce, which I was not aware of and did not like. I swapped mine with my husbands fries which he had asked for shredded cheese on. Not very many beer choices on tap. Fried pickles were good. Ranch was good. Probably won't make a special trip just to eat here again. read more

Sat down to order. Waitress brought our drinks. Had to ask for the lemons again after she ignored us the first time and then acted annoyed when we asked again. Once our food was brought out we never were checked on after that until our check was brought. Then another waitress came to our table to ask if we wanted to-go drinks and then our actual waitress came to bring the check. Worst service I've ever experienced. read more

*Non-local review * A local pub with a straight forward menu mainly of burgers and fries with their additional options being a wings, wrap, or salad. It's a quaint smaller pub with a modern local feel and a few picnic tables to the side of the establishment for outdoor seating. The food was good, got a burger and fries, and it had good flavor. General note: I appreciate when a burger is not greasy, messy, or just lacks flavor. I believe they mainly cook it at one temperature of well done as I did not see mine or others at my table on the medium scale as requested. They have a bar (maybe 6 chairs?) as well, high top tables, and booths. If you're touring the area, this would be an ok place to grab a bite and keep on your travels. It's in a strip with antique shops and vacant stores beside it. On a busy night, could see this smaller restaurant being easily filled. Parking is on the street and free which is actually nice. I came on a weekend and I kept having to realize perhaps the town is small or I just got lucky with parking not being an issue at all. read more

A Must-Stop Spot in Cave City! We had a fantastic dining experience at Pourter's tonight! We started with the ravioli appetizer... absolutely amazing and full of flavor. We also shared the chicken tenders with fries... perfectly cooked, crispy, and served with the most delicious homemade ranch dressing. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. They not only provided great service but also gave us several helpful recommendations for things to do while we're in town for the next couple of days. Pourter's is definitely a gem in Cave City... we'll absolutely be stopping in again next time we visit the area. Highly recommend! read more

Very pleasant server who suggested the burgers. I was a bit concerned that I wasn't asked how it should've cooked. It came well done, about one third of a pound, nice bun, tomato slice which was too thick, nicely cooked onions and cheese. It rated a solid 3 along with some above average fries. My friend's burger was also just ok, a bit better than one he'd had in the Park. Drink refills were unsolicited but it was a bit eerie to be the only customers on a Saturday night.... But it isn't their Season yet, I imagine. read more

This place is such a gem in the growing cave city area! Even though they've only been open since July, everything is always amazing. Friendly service, fast and HOT food, and always consistent.
