If you are craving pretty authentic poke in the Denver/Aurora area, this is a great option! I…read morestopped in for a bowl and was pleasantly surprised with the tastiness of this bowl. Also a nice treat was having a fridge full of Hawaiian Sun drinks (Lilikoi Passion too!). My bowl came out within minutes of sitting down and I ate the entire bowl in one sitting. The Ahi Tuna bites were chunky without being too large and seasoned well (a bit salty but I loved it). Rice was nice and fluffy. Overall, no complaints and I would keep this in my rotation for poke. The menu looks great and I want to come back and try more!

Pop up at Hawaii fundraiser. Always ono. I was super excited to see poke plate lunch. I love poke…read more And spam musubi and Hawaiian Sun drinks to boot! So many choices of protein for the plate lunches and I was torn between poke and kalua pig. But poke always wins. And I was discussing Hawaiian Sun flavors with the next person in line. Passion orange guava my fav but I caved to his recommendation of lilikoi passion fruit. It was refreshing and tasty. A more subtle flavor. The poke was fresh and the rice so good. And of course the Mac salad was delicious. So many memories of HI. Can't wait to eat the spam musubi for lunch tomorrow. It'll be so awesome. They are a fantastic family and an amazing restaurant to frequent. Their catering is yummy so I'm glad to support their pop up fundraiser.

Me and The Hubs stopped in for lunch recently. After perusing the menu, I decided on the ZZ's…read moreCheesy Burger that comes with American cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, comeback sauce, and is served with fries (I asked for cheddar instead of American cheese and added some sliced onion since it doesn't come with this burger). The Hubs ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich that comes with bourbon bbq sauce, creamy coleslaw and pickles, and is served with fries (although he swapped out the fries for more slaw). Everything was delicious! I had my burger cooked medium-well and it was perfect; it was still slightly pink inside and moist. While the burger was very tasty, one major plus was that it was also structurally sound (all the ingredients stayed inside the bun and the bun didn't fall apart)! The Hubs also enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. I tasted the bbq sauce and the slaw that came with his lunch and both were amazing (I dipped more of my fries into the extra bbq sauce that came with his sandwich than I did into the comeback sauce). The fries that came with the burger were crispy, not greasy and not overly salted. While I only had an iced tea with lunch, I did peruse their specialty drinks menu. Wowza, is that a read! We'll be back sometime soon for dinner so we can check that out. BTW, their food menu is more than burgers and sandwiches and there are some nice sounding items that appeal to me more for dinner than lunch (two examples (1) Hoisin Ginger Tuna: Sashimi-grade tuna seared rare, parmesan risotto, arugula slaw, (2) Pesto Cream Salmon: Pan seared salmon crusted with parmesan breadcrumbs, penne pasta, pesto cream sauce, cherry tomatoes, roasted red pepper). Despite this restaurant's location next to a boarded up vacant restaurant and being right next to I25, the interior is surprisingly nice and welcoming. And our server was friendly and helpful. So no complaints here!

It was delicious and a great departure from a typical burger. Even though the restaurant was full at 6:30 PM on Saturday, the atmosphere remained pleasant and not too loud. I sat at the bar to watch the Avalanche game, and I was very impressed by the bartenders, who were friendly and engaging with everyone. I look forward to returning soon to try another item on the menu. Keep up the great work!
