Patrick was rude, unprofessional and incompetent. He refused to do a diagnostic on our refrigerator…read moresince it was cold and working properly when he came for service. A week prior, the fridge and freezer stopped cooling properly. We lost food due to spoilage. We contacted whirlpool, and were told to defrost the refrigerator/freezer, and then they would send someone out for service. Unfortunately, They sent 1- 800 appliance. After defrosting, our refrigerator returned to normal temperatures. Whirlpool requested that one 800 do a full diagnostic to determine the original cause of not cooling properly. However, the service technician, Patrick, claimed it was working fine and absolutely refused to do any diagnostic testing on it. He refused to pull out the refrigerator. He did eventually remove a freezer panel at our request. He then called whirlpool and told them it was working just fine and it did not need any service. So, we still do not know what caused it to stop working properly since Patrick refused to test anything.

What it was was a broken hose on my Kenmore washing machine which my family owned probably since the 1970s. Also there's a switch that stops the spinning when the lid is opened up that was missing. 4 days later on September 8, 2026, Sergey came back with a parts but he didn't charge me for the switch because when he exposed the wiring, a previous repair had disabled the switch by tying off the wire. I said I'm a senior and I don't have small kids that could climb into the washing machine when it's spinning. I don't care. So he didn't charge me for that part and the total cost for the labor and $45.21 hose was $150.65. I had a good experience with a Sergei and I would hire him again because my appliances are all very very old.
