Reached out on yelp for help and explained the situation and provided the make, brand, and model number of my refrigerator. Requested the cost of a new ice maker and cost to install. I looked on social media for a lot of reviews and recommendations, and this particular business stood out, and everyone mentioned this person by name, Vlad, I took a chance as I had nothing to lose so I called and almost an immediate reply to my message that I left, and it was by Vlad From the moment i spoke with I could tell he knew his business. I of course supplied him with the make & model number to my stove and gave a brief description of what was occurring. He would do the research for availability for parts as he felt he knew what it was going to take and would contact me once he received the parts. He didn't ask me to pay for parts in advance even not seeing my stove yet, that's great service in my opinion. His service was professional, friendly, and quick to schedule a convenient appointment. And when Vlad was stuck in traffic, he contacted me to give me a better ETA on his arrival time (which by the way would be after 5 o'clock) and said there is no overtime charge! Upon arriving, he immediately went to the stove with all the necessary tools to disassemble and get to the part that he felt was the culprit. Even remove the part, compared it with the new part and showed me the failure of the part that he was replacing. This is amazing for those that want to learn or be involved like me. Vlad explained everything clearly, and his pre diagnoses was correct (this is a 1997 Amana stove by the way, almost 30 years old) What I really appreciated was his honesty--he didn't try to upsell unnecessary repairs, just fixed the problem efficiently and at a fair price.
