Where things started to slip was on the pickup side. I was told the car was ready, but still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes before actually getting it. At checkout, I was also surprised to see a tip screen with suggested amounts that felt pretty high given the service. I ended up leaving a small tip, but the experience itself didn't really match that level of expectation. I also would have appreciated a quick walkthrough of the work that was done--especially at that price point--but it was more of a quick handoff of the keys. I came back for the 10-day follow-up and made a point to ask about timing ahead of time. I was told it would take about an hour. I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! I planned on using the wash program and mentioned to Jasmine my poor service experience. Think there was follow-up? Nada. So, thumbs "kind of" up for Ceramic Pro but thumbs down for this location. Wasim and his team have taken great care of me and made a loyal customer…read more After purchasing my Toyota Land Cruiser 250, I drove it directly from the dealership to his shop to get full PPF and window protection film with ceramic coating, and window tint installed. He was extremely responsive via both phone and email regarding my questions and helping me choose the best products for my needs. Workmanship was exceptional, and any small imperfections such as sharp corners not properly sticking or small bubbles were addressed by Wasim personally. No one has been able to tell I have PPF with the naked eye unless I specifically tell them which tells you how great the installation was. I have taken my Land Cruiser offroading a about a dozen times now and the PPF has fully protected my paint, preventing pinstriping from branches and bushes normally found on most trails. My friend that always goes with me has a Toyota Tacoma and his paint has gotten quite a few battle scars, where as my Land Cruiser is completely scratch free! The window protection film has saved my glass a handful of times already too. Going on past a year, the film still looks 90% as good as the first day it was installed. Highly recommend, especially if your vehicle have a very vertical windshield like on a typical SUV or truck. I had a situation where my garage door closed onto my open hatch, but the PPF took the damage and completely protected my paint from scratches. That would have easily taken the paint down to the base coat or even bare metal since it was a sharp metal bolt head that had run down against the hatch. Wasim was extremely generous and offered to replace that panel free of charge. Highly recommend SunDiego Auto Spa, will be doing more business with them again in the near future!

Pricing was very fair for the work done. Full front XPEL PPF, full 8 year ceramic coating, ceramic tint all around--including windshield on my Ioniq 9. Wasim even scheduled a follow up appointment a week later to ensure the film had fully cured. One thing to note, they let my cars 12v battery die. I don't necessarily fault them as they work on plenty of EVs, but Hyundai doesn't seem to protect the cars 12v like Tesla does. Learning experience for both of us. Most importantly, Wasim handled the issue with the utmost professionalism, getting the battery fully recharged and coming along on a test drive with me to make sure it was good. If you haven't tried using Yelp to acquire quotes from businesses such as dash cam and installation retailers, it's pretty convenient and many service type businesses will reach out to you. After sending an inquiry about purchasing and installation of a dash cam, one of the first businesses that reached out to me was DV Audio and Customs. Besides DV Audio, several other businesses contacted me and I immediately decided on DV Audio because of the professionalism and thoroughness of Dennis and Paola. They answered several questions I posed to them and although I probably could have shopped around for a better deal, I decided to have DV Audio take care of my dash cam need solely based on the professionalism and customer service, but besides those much clamored for qualities, I got even more once the job was completed. DV Audio is located in Escondido specifically within a small business park where other service type businesses are located. I don't remember if there were other tenants, but as soon as you turn into Wineridge, you'll turn right into the first driveway and you'll see the DV Audio signage. The exact address for DV Audio is 2080 Wineridge Suite D. The shop can be found by taking 15 North or 15 South exiting off of Valley Parkway and heading west. There are two parts of Escondido where car dealers are located, which is the east side and west side of Escondido. DV Audio is located close to the west side of car dealers. I received great customer service from Paola from start to finish for my dash cam project. Prior to setting up an appointment with DV Audio to have them install a dash cam, I stopped by their shop to ask them questions. The primary thing I wanted to ask them was whether they price match because at the time, Amazon Prime Days were going on. My intent was to buy a dash cam on Amazon and then have DV Audio install it. When I asked about price matching, Paola informed me that they do price match on a specific Red Tiger dash cam, but not on the higher end Red Tiger dash cam. She also informed me that it would be better if I purchased the dash cam from her because then it would be under warranty, which was great information to have. Another reason to have work done by DV Audio is that their business is military veteran friendly and they do military discounts for Army Veterans like me. If you pay cash for the work they do, there is a cash discount and who doesn't like savings. Besides all of these positives, they are also efficient and respect people's time. I dropped off my car at my appointment time of 9:30am and I was notified that they were done at 10:44am. When their technician was installing my dash cam, they found rust build up on the inside side wall of my dash, which I would have never found if not for their technician letting me know. This information was invaluable because I'm going to have the car dealer check it out. Lastly, Paolo provided more quality customer service after the work was completed by spending time with me going over the features of the dash cam. If you're ever in the market for a dash cam and installation of that dash cam, before you purchase, I highly recommend you contact or visit DV Audio and Customs to purchase the dash cam and have them do the installation. Customer service, expediency, and thoroughness from start to finish is why they should be the only shop you visit for dash cam service. I also noticed vintage cars in their shop, so if you own vintage cars, you might want to check what type of service they do for vintage cars.
