Sorry, this review is really late. About three years ago, I had coilovers installed and the technician told me to get the car aligned. Of course, I failed to do so but the tires still wore evenly regardless of me skipping getting the alignment. I'm amazed at how the tech was able to do suspension work and get my wheels perfectly straight! Thanks Autofashion! Realized this review was never posted from 2 years ago. Get ready for a story of a lifetime. This company screened my calls and ghosted me after they sent me an incorrect car part and asked me send it back. I ordered a Lexus GS spoiler from them and they ended up sending me a Lexus IS spoiler. Of course at the time, I thought it was correct and it seemed to fit my car so I had it paint matched. When I finally tried to install it and removed my stock spoiler, it didn't fit. I contacted them and they ignored me for the longest time. When they finally responded, they said they sent the right part and asked for pictures. I provided the picture and the shape of how the spoiler should be. They informed me, "they have sold plenty of these but never had any issues". Well I bet they never accidentally sent a part for the wrong car too. In short, I was not happy about the service and the fact they sent me the wrong part but made me believe it was correct. read more

I can't speak on their quality of work since they never got back to me. I reached out to them on Thursday, May 6 regarding fender rolling: pricing, next available appointment, length of work. They replied back on Friday, May 7 and answered all my questions. They said they were a bit swamped and gave me a few dates - May 21, 28 and 29. I responded on the same day and told them I wanted May 21 as my appointment date and to confirm an actual time after lunch, if they had availability. I never heard anything from them. I sent them a follow-up email on May 22, and no response four days later. Pretty disappointed, given the recommendations I had found on a forum, along with the Yelp reviews. read more

Bought my BC Racing Coilovers from these guys and they did a perfect job slamming it without having the tires rub against the fenders, went to upgrade my tire size from 16 to 17 which caused to rub, went in last minute and asked if they could adjust the height so it wouldn't rub, they told me they dont really do walk in but took me in anyways, these guys are amazing and know exactly what they're doing, they're incredibly knowledgeable and try to work with their customers, definitely taking my car here for future modifications. read more

I was in the area busy with family plans, but looking to escape, so I looked up motorsport shops in the area excited to check it out based on the prior reviews. What a complete letdown and a terrible experience. I do not recommend buying or doing business through them based on a simple transaction they completely dropped the ball on! I can't imagine leaving my car with them for bigger jobs! I visited the shop mostly to check out the "showroom" knowing that they didn't have the part in shop, no big deal- since I called in earlier to inquire. I neglected to ask about the "showroom" which was completely vacant with the exception of a moped thrown up against a wall. Don't let their phone system when you call fool you into thinking they shop is sophisticated as I did before seeing it first hand. I could have easily ordered the part directly through the manufacturer, but figured I would give them business since reviews were positive, fought traffic to visit, and I was already there -unaware of the headache to come. I paid in cash in full to avoid a credit card fee (huge mistake) on 6/3 and was told part would likely ship in a few days since the manufacturer is local. I never got the part for over 2weeks even after calling the shop several times politely during this period requesting evidence it was even shipped ie, tracking number. I was promised an update by them after providing my email which never happened at all. I ended up taking charge and calling manufacturer directly on 6/17 since it was clear I was on my own and feared I'd never receive what I paid for. The manufacturer said it never shipped because my card bounced. Umm... I paid the shop in cash! The manufactures billing dept had a slip of tongue and confused me as if I was calling on Autofashion's behalf and said that the reason why part wasn't shipped was because their card bounced!! I got the manufacture to ship the product that same day after telling them about my transaction and received it in 2days thereafter, with no help from Autofashion whatsoever, almost 3 weeks later! read more

Autofashion is the premiere VIP auto shop in San Diego. Many of their cars have been featured in the car magazines. There are a several performance shops in San Diego but non specialize in the popular VIP scene. They can get wheels from Japan, VIP accessories, suspension upgrades, and car audio. Although, I'm not in the VIP car scene they do a variety of different installs. Autofashion installed my brother's Subaru Forester lowering springs and my mom's Viper car alarm. I dropped off the cars in the morning and picked them up in the afternoon. They also do custom audio set-ups. If you need a custom sub box made or something really wild for a car show they can get it done. There rates are a bit pricey but you get what you paid for... Top notch work and quality.
