My high school son was going to Homecoming for the first time this year (last year due to pandemic school was online) and I wanted to find a trustworthy cleaning business to press his brand new suit and wash his brand new dress shirt. I live in Benardo Heights in Rancho Benardo and checked the many dry cleaners near me. Most of the dry cleaners didn't have the best reviews. I decided to check In Poway and Poway Cleaning Club had 58 reviews, almost all of which were 5 stars. I went in with my son and met Michael and I was glad we drove out a little farther into Poway. Michael was friendly and easy to talk to. Told him I just needed the clothes ready by Saturday for Homecoming (it was Monday) and he said it'll be ready on Wednesday after 5 pm. I also couldn't believe how clean and bright his store is. The suit was well pressed and the shirt was also neatly washed and ironed. Michael also tends the sleeves together unlike no other cleaners I've been to before does. This extra step really helps the dress shirt stay wrinkle free and fresh looking. Best of all, the clothes had no funky chemical smells that I normally have to air out to get rid off. His attention to cleanliness and detail is rare and I was impressed! Michael also uses emails receipts and email reminders to alert you when the clothes are ready. Making his business paperless is so modern and environmentally friendly. My sister recommended that I try the Poway Cleaning Club. Everything is $3.50 and ready the next day. I took a bag of clothes including a pair of white pants that were really badly stained and a sweater with boa feathers on the neckline. I was amazed at how clean the white pants were! He said he worked on them for 6 hours. He took special care with the boa sweater too. Everything was perfect and ready the next day. Oh, and I used a $3.00 coupon so it was even less for the entire order. I am extremely pleased with the Poway Cleaning Club and the owner. I relocated to San Diego from Chicago and had been in search for the perfect go to dry cleaners that actually clean the clothes and reasonably priced. The winter season is my dry cleaning season with all the sweaters, coats and cords from the Chicago winters. After not paying attention to pricing at a dry cleaners in the Rancho Bernardo area and ending up spending $9 each piece, the hunt was on. I saw a flyer for the Poway Cleaning Club with pricing close to what I was accustomed to paying for dry cleaning. Met Michael the owner the first day I dropped off my clothes. Very personable and customer driven. I can tell the customer experience and expectations actually mattered to him and I left believing I had found my cleaners. I returned a week later and as I was finishing putting the clothes in the car, he walked up, spoke to me; asked about the pick up and if I received the green dry cleaner bag. He remembered me from a week ago. As for garments, no dry cleaner smell; clothes cleaned and neatly pressed. My fault I didn't say to heavy starch my shirts but I am confident they will do a fabulous job and will not disappoint. Michael then promptly shared the background of the club and explained his simple one-price pricing scheme. My receipt of payment was notified to me via e-mail, and my "ready for pick-up" notification and reminder also conveniently came directly to my e-mail inbox. Upon picking up my five (5) long-sleeve dress-shirts and one (1) pair of slacks, Michael remembered me and promptly located my items --- my shirts were neatly hung on individual hangers with "just the right amount" of starch --- not too soft, not too hard --- the long sleeves came together in the front and were fastened with a clear plastic clip to help reduce and prevent wrinkling. Michael wished me well and thanked me for "joining" his Poway Cleaning Club --- in turn, I thanked Michael for having such a simple and efficient dry cleaning option for the community of Poway.
