She was so professional and sweet, and what I appreciated was how she explained what she was doing and why, educating me along the way of what was needed for the look I desired. I decided to treat myself to a massage, however, I didn't want to go to one of those places that give you a sales pitch to become a member. Or, I didn't want to go to one of these other joints that have super cheap massages by non-licensed individuals......and can be shady. I was looking for someone who knows what they are doing and generally cares about their clients. After reading the Yelp reviews, I decided to give Jo-Jo's massage therapist, Juli Groth, a try. You can actually book it online without even calling. So convenient. I was greeted by Juli with a genuine smile. She had me fill out paperwork on my health and what areas I would like to focus in on. She listens to your needs carefully and executes as directed. The massage was absolutely wonderful and I cannot wait to go back. I opted for an hour and a half massage which came to $100. Very reasonable. I highly recommend Juli!! read more

Two times I called this place trying to get an appointment. One time I left a detailed message. The other time I spoke to someone who said he would call me back. All I needed was a wash a blowout and a trim my bangs. I know that that's not a lot of work. And even if I was I could have at least had a phone call back saying that they had no time for me or some thing, but silence is rude when you've tried to get a hold of someone two times. I've been going to Megan for my haircut/color for almost 15 years. So I was understandably sad when she moved out of state. I was a bit nervous to try someone new, but I trusted the stylist team Megan had in her salon. If I could give negative stars, I would. If you're just going for a wash and style, then sure go here. But do not trust them with a cut or color. I left the salon and tearsssssss because the cut and color Leah gave me. I left my hair in a pony tale for an entire week until I could get to another salon to have them fix it. Every time I put my hair down I started crying again because it was THAT bad. I am talking bad. It wasn't that she cut it too short, its that she literally screwed up my hair. Leah had told me about a hair cut that she wanted to do on me and I knew what she was describing was NOT what I wanted so I showed her 4 pictures of a hair cut that I DID want! Guess what hair cut she went with and I ended up with... not the one I wanted. I looked like I had a mullet! No joke. One side of my hair looked like an A-line and the other side had super short layers. This "haircut" was a haircut straight from hell. The color was a disaster too. I had a ton of breakage and what was supposed to be a "corrective color" ended up worse than what I came in with. I ended up going to Salon Ink downtown (AMAZING SALON) and they fixed my hair beautifully. We had to cut a long of length off in order to fix what Leah had done. Luckily the cut was so gorgeous that I was okay with having to cut off 4 inches to fix what JoJo's had done. I would never recommend this salon to anyone, not even someone I hate. The owner, Megan was also extremely unprofessional and rude. I asked for a refund and she wouldn't give it but offered to have me come in and have her fix it for free. I didn't take her up on the offer because quite frankly I never wanted to step back into that salon again. All in all, I paid $200 dollars for a HORRIBLE cut, color and customer service. But had I not had a bad experience I wouldn't have found Rodrigo at Salon Ink... So thanks JoJo's for helping me find an INCREDIBLE salon. read more
