She was so professional and sweet, and what I appreciated was how she explained what she was doing and why, educating me along the way of what was needed for the look I desired. But what was probably the most amazing thing about Ada is her talent! I decided to treat myself to a massage, however, I didn't want to go to one of those places that give you a sales pitch to become a member. Or, I didn't want to go to one of these other joints that have super cheap massages by non-licensed individuals......and can be shady. I was looking for someone who knows what they are doing and generally cares about their clients. After reading the Yelp reviews, I decided to give Jo-Jo's massage therapist, Juli Groth, a try. You can actually book it online without even calling. So convenient. I was greeted by Juli with a genuine smile. She had me fill out paperwork on my health and what areas I would like to focus in on. She listens to your needs carefully and executes as directed. The massage was absolutely wonderful and I cannot wait to go back. I opted for an hour and a half massage which came to $100. Very reasonable. I highly recommend Juli!! read more

Two times I called this place trying to get an appointment. One time I left a detailed message. The other time I spoke to someone who said he would call me back. All I needed was a wash a blowout and a trim my bangs. I know that that's not a lot of work. And even if I was I could have at least had a phone call back saying that they had no time for me or some thing, but silence is rude when you've tried to get a hold of someone two times. This place has been really great. The atmosphere is chic and super cute. There is a lot to look at. And a few items for purchase in the salon. They do just about everything! I came for color correction and highlights and am absolutely in love with the color. Leah fixed a layered cut and it's perfect. Can't wait to go back for lighter hair. I've been searching for a new colorist and hair stylist for almost a year. I'm super picky on who touches my hair. I met Brandy through my fiancé and had the best experience ever! If I could give negative stars, I would. If you're just going for a wash and style, then sure go here. But do not trust them with a cut or color. I left the salon and tearsssssss because the cut and color Leah gave me. I left my hair in a pony tale for an entire week until I could get to another salon to have them fix it. Every time I put my hair down I started crying again because it was THAT bad. I am talking bad. It wasn't that she cut it too short, its that she literally screwed up my hair. Leah had told me about a hair cut that she wanted to do on me and I knew what she was describing was NOT what I wanted so I showed her 4 pictures of a hair cut that I DID want! Guess what hair cut she went with and I ended up with... not the one I wanted. I looked like I had a mullet! No joke. One side of my hair looked like an A-line and the other side had super short layers. This "haircut" was a haircut straight from hell. The color was a disaster too. I had a ton of breakage and what was supposed to be a "corrective color" ended up worse than what I came in with. I ended up going to Salon Ink downtown (AMAZING SALON) and they fixed my hair beautifully. We had to cut a long of length off in order to fix what Leah had done. Luckily the cut was so gorgeous that I was okay with having to cut off 4 inches to fix what JoJo's had done. I would never recommend this salon to anyone, not even someone I hate. The owner, Megan was also extremely unprofessional and rude. I asked for a refund and she wouldn't give it but offered to have me come in and have her fix it for free. I didn't take her up on the offer because quite frankly I never wanted to step back into that salon again. All in all, I paid $200 dollars for a HORRIBLE cut, color and customer service. But had I not had a bad experience I wouldn't have found Rodrigo at Salon Ink... So thanks JoJo's for helping me find an INCREDIBLE salon. read more

I've been looking for a hair place to call "my own" for what seems like forever!!! And JoJos salon is everything I've ever wanted and more. Found them after a research-binging eternity followed by a ton of trial and error. I was able to make an appointment online and it was super easy and effective. Im usually weary of online scheduling systems because I've been burned before. When I arrived there was no question or confusion about my appointment and Alanna took me right away! The salon is so incredibly cute. A boutiquey, Pinterest wonderland, this place has awesome hair product placed all along the walls like art, have their own make up line out for testing & sale. I had a great time and ended up with results that I loved. I can't wait for my next appointment with her! It was comforting to know that Alanna was really into her profession, knew her stuff and was able to offer suggestions based on what she felt was best. She was nice, easy to talk to and I definitely enjoyed my time there. If you are thinking about getting your hair done in some crazy colors...or even natural coloring like mine was...you'll want to make an appointment with Alanna at JoJo's ASAP! Highly recommend this salon and especially Megan and Jaleh. Very nice and very clean. I had a haircut there last Tuesday and Megan did a great job. I asked her about facials and she said that they have a great lady who does facials, threading, faxing and etc. and that she was available after my haircut. Jaleh, who gave me my badly needed facial was very attentive and experienced. My skin was glowing for a few days after the facial. She also threaded my eyebrows and they look great. Oh, and their facial is only $45 (not sure if it's special deal or their regular price). Can't beat that if you want someone who knows what they are doing.
