I had excellent service at Poway Smog Station. A few weeks ago I went on yelp to find a smog station in my area & this one was at the top of the list. I read some of the great reviews and thankfully so, because otherwise I wouldn't have known about the coupon on their website. I went in on a Saturday and was asked if I could come back in an hour because of the many cars they had waiting, which was no problem for me. I came back an hour later, nobody was waiting and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes, no kidding. Dave was so nice to deal with because he has a great personality and cares about his customers. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a smog done and you definitely will walk out a happy customer! read more

I don't write a lot of Yelp reviews, but this business absolutely deserves a perfect rating and it's no wonder they have such great reviews from their customers. I've never had to do a smog test before, so when I got my DMV renewal notice requiring smog test, I was irritated and I put it off until the last minute, dreading having to go to one of the countless 'smog stations' I've driven by the last ten years I've lived in CA. I expected this experience to be painful, but I was pleasantly surprised to see this company's positive rating on Yelp so decided to go here. I expected to have to wait an hour or more, sit in a dirty, stinky and loud waiting area. But I was wrong. This was a great experience from the start until 20 minutes later when they were finished. The gal at the front desk (sorry, I didn't get your name) actually greeted me at my car, took me into the clean, comfortable waiting area (that even has free wifi), took down my info and told me it'd be about 30 minutes, she was super friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. 20 minutes later she told me it was all done, I paid and I was on my way. I have been coming here for three straight years now and have even talked my boss into bringing in our work vehicles. I am rarely there for more than 15 minutes without an appointment. They take your paper work, your keys and do all the work for you. Reasonably priced with coupons available the turn around time and friendly service are worth the price of admission. Great customer service. My 2012 jeep wrangler failed the smog check. They informed me precisely what was causing the problem. I was able to take that information to the Poway Jeep service department that reset the truck's computer resulting in the sensors coming back online. I returned to the Smog station at 4:58 PM with two minutes left until closing and they stayed late and certified my vehicle. Professional, informative, customer-centric, fair pricing. read more

This place is amazing. The best experience I have ever had getting a smog check for my car. They are so quick that I barely had time to sit down and check my text messages. They automatically applied a coupon that made the price slightly less than the coupon I brought in from a competitor (accidentally had one for another smog place in poway--they all look alike).
