Antonio was amazing! After looking up repair shops near me with excellent Yelp reviews, he was one of the top businesses. So, I called him that Friday afternoon to see if he could check the reason the A/C in my Infiniti QX60 was not working. He told me to stop by and he will look at it - and this was already at about 3 pm in the afternoon! When I arrived, Antonio performed a test that took about 20 minutes. He determined that it was my A/C compressor that was failing and quoted me a great price to replace it the next day - on a Saturday! After telling him that I believed it had been replaced less than and a few years ago by a different repair shop, he recommended that I call that shop to inquire about the type of warranty (i.e., length, whether it covers parts, labor, or both, etc.) as it may be covered for a free replacement. The other repair shop confirmed that a broken A/C compressor would still be covered by them since it was within the warranty period. I was very impressed that Antonio was looking out for my wallet - not his! Even though he could have charged me for the diagnostic, he refused to accept any type of payment. Instead, he said that the next time I need service - or know someone that does - to send them his way. As you can imagine, that won't be a problem. I wanted to provide an update and give Fred a HUGE thank you for finding something the dealership didn't - and just in time for my warranty to expire. As I mentioned in my first review, I had taken my car in for a pre-warranty expiration inspection since I didn't trust the dealership's diagnosis from 3 months prior that said everything was completely fine with the car. Fred noticed that there was a ton of grease and grime leaking from the driver side CV axel shaft and possibly transmission seal. He allowed me to take a video as evidence to show my husband and the dealership (if needed). I ended up taking my car into the dealership a few days later, told them exactly what to look for thanks to Fred's clear instructions & details, and guess what? They confirmed that the driver side axel was in need of replacement AND that it was covered under warranty (with only days left to go). God I love Antonio's. Fred is amazing, dude literally cares about making sure you're getting the exact work done that you need, and nothing more that's not worth your money. He is debit / cash only, but he charges FANTASTIC prices so it doesn't hurt the bank. I've brought several cars here throughout the years - most recently I got a transmission fluid flush and a fuel injection system cleaning done on my 2018 Toyota Camry for under $400 combined. Car is running beautifully. I said "okay, I'll be back soon to get the rest of my tune up done- you know, spark plugs, engine flush, all that" and he point blank goes "don't worry about it, you got time." Like, what mechanic is that honest that they're turning away services until it's needed?! He's turned me away when he's been dead empty on certain days because there's recalls for certain parts that I can get the dealership to do for free for my Honda, Ford and Toyota cars that I've had over the last 5+ years, and he's been right every time. I've been here multiple times for oil changes and Fred (Antonio) has been incredibly honest. His prices are quite competitive to other garages, he also made a recommendation for upgrading my plastic oil cap to metal and walked me through his reasoning, which came down to just mitigating oil leaks and longevity. His explanation was great and I respect his insight. Another time, I had rodents start making a nest on top of my car battery using the engine bay insulation, I was worried they would chew through important wiring.
