Worst decision ever!!!…read more I had David from Captain Maintenance refinish my Floors 2 months ago. He was the 4th estimate I got and the 2 highest in price, but I figure you get what you pay for. He did the job in 2 days and at first my fiancée and I were extremely happy. 3-4 weeks later I notice the poly in all the seams threw out the entire house started to turn a milky white and is now peeling off the hardwood. I call David and he comes over the next day. The second he walks into my house he had excuse after excuse on why the floors turned that color, but at this point he tells me he will cal me in 2 weeks to see what he can do. 2 weeks come and go so I decide its time I call him. When I get in touch with David he tells me that its my floors and its not his problem. At this point he tells me "to have a nice life" and then hangs up on me. He made sure that the base moldings were cut and installed perfectly. All the doors and closets were cut perfectly. We had beautiful floors throughout our entire second floor within one day. He also had a fantastic sense of humor which was greatly appreciated during this extremely stressful time. I can go on all day about David. Use Propainters if:…read more You want a team of professional craftsman and skilled painters to make your house look like new again. Propainters took our house from a 25 yr old grey rub. Down color and updated it to a white stain with black gutters and we are so happy. From the first moment I met the owner Jefferson I could tell that his knowledgebase to tackle a project like mine was truly spectacular. Incredible knowledge about the types of products to use, the color advice as well as all the nitty gritty of how to make the gutters aesthetically pleasing and function. First off the prep. This team spent days sanding, sealing, and refurbishing my 25 year house before applying the stain to the hardy plank. I was beyond impressed with the carpentry (very affordable) to replace wood trim around 6 of my windows, replace 6 sofit/fascia boards, and install trim along the roofline to help the rain water not damage the hardy plank cement boards like it did in the past. Jeff ( one of the carpentry guys) was also able to replace several pieces of rotted hardy planks as well. This detailed and skilled work gave me what now looks like a new house ready for the next 25 years. Next came the stain color and application. Jeff, Jasmine and the guys did days of prep to protect anything that should not be painted by taping and applying plastic prior to spraying the house. The work was very precise and lead to an outcome of perfect lines and transitions. I forget his name but they had an extremely talented painter who did meticulous work to make sure each square inch of the house was perfect. We had white 25 year old windows and this team painted the windows (not the wood trim but the windows themselves) a black stain. This was a big move for us that we were nervous about so Jefferson painted a sample one to make sure it was right for us. They came out beyond perfect and the house now looks like it has 100k plus of brand new windows for a fraction of the cost. Lastly but not least the gutter project by jasmine was executed to perfection. The removal, prep and installation were flawless. They installed 6 inch (from previous) 4 inch gutters in black. They are pitched perfectly and the crew spent days working on aesthetics to make sure the layout would not only be functional but very aesthetically pleasing. When the project was done the crews did an affordable but beyond thorough job power washing every inch of the property. We were very thankful for the detailed work to make everything beautiful. I would be remiss if I di not mention how helpful Chelsea was via email and phone as the project went on. Always patient with my indecisiveness which we were very thankful for. In summary, do not hesitate to use Propainters as they have the most attention to detail, skill and pride in their work that I have ever seen in a company. BLOWN away! Thank you Jefferson and team

The paint on the exterior of my home which cedar siding required serious attention. Almost 60% of the paint on the side of the house with the most sun exposure was peeling very badly. ProPainters sanded all of the impacted areas right down to bare cedar then primed and painted with a type of paint that will not peel like the previous paint. The entire crew was very professional: quality work, great communication and maintained a clean worksite throughout the process. I've included some before and after pictures.
