We went to Powell's for a late breakfast. She had the cinnamon swirl French toast and a side of turkey sausage. She really like the bread. I had the cheese and sausage omelet: it was fine. Seated at bar immediately. Service was good. Decent prices. Clean restaurant and restroom. We read several reviews about the waiter. We found him to be serious about his job. He works hard keeping orders going, making coffee, cashing people out, refilling drinks, etc. The workers are great! After a few visits, we've found what we love!!! Went threw Houghton Lake and saw this little restaurant and decided to eat some breakfast which was terrible We usually have good luck at spare of the moment restaurants, not this time. Order a western Omelet and it was more like a Mexican omelet. Also had a side of bacon which was over cooked. The staff there were really nice but just wasn't pleased with my meal at all.
