I always recommended power to everyone i know but after the last project I've had done by power home remodeling. I will never recommend again. They had installed siding and windows on my home but after a few months I noticed the capping coming off. I called to inform them that this was happening, was told to take pictures all for them to tell me that they were not responsible because it was part of the roof. Mind you the subcontractors that installed the siding had took some of it down and bent some pieces because they had to install the new siding behind it. I use to be a loyal customer and to think I was going to have my uncle replace his siding and windows through power. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with Power Home Remodeling, and I am at a loss for where to begin.​ I added 2 pictures with the rest of my review to describe every detail of our siding and windows projects as it was too long to post here. PLEASE REVIEW THE 2 PICTURES I ATTACHED WITH THE DETAILS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! Overall, the work is subpar at best! It's not worth the money. In my profession, I've been a project manager; I would've never signed off on an incomplete and unprofessional job like this. It's a rushed and botched job. I called Power Home Remodeling this morning (4/3/25) to request they come out to fix 2 things that were obvious to the eye. The earliest they can come is June 13, 2025. Then, when my electrician was here to give me a quote on hooking up our pool, he noticed that the electrical work he had done on the outside of the house (clamping down the new wires to our updated electrical panel) - Power Home Remodeling left all the electrical wires unclamped! Then when we were in the backyard, and I was looking at the back of the house, I started to notice a lot of things out of place. Gaps in the siding, bulging siding, siding that is coming out of place, etc. Remind you, the siding was only done in October 2024, and it's April 2025! Now I have to call Power Home Remodeling again to let them know that I caught 28 additional things besides the 2 things I called them about this morning. Again, this job was not worth the money; they sold us on things that we truly didn't have, like a dedicated project manager who would check the completed project, and there was such a lack of professionalism. I've worked with many contractors in the past, and by far, this was the absolute worst experience! The company has provided poor service and unprofessional work. Even though a Project Manager finally came out in October 2024, it's April of 2025 and I've noticed 30 additional things that they did not notice (it's their job to find these flaws in the project). Not only did they fail to meet basic expectations, but they also sold us on promises, such as the presence of a dedicated project manager, which they did not fulfill. We deserve to have these issues resolved promptly, and they should significantly reduce our bill (by thousands of dollars) to reflect the subpar work. We paid $44,000 for a project that was rushed and poorly executed. I will be escalating this matter to corporate and intend to pursue this issue until it is resolved. read more

1) We asked that our hard wired Ring doorbell be reinstalled as we had it. A week later we found out they did not hardwire it back in they just put it up. 2) The "English speaking" on site person didn't actually speak English and we had to keep calling the office to get what we needed done 3) The forgot to put up the j blocks for our solar lights so we had to wait for them to get more parts. 4) We were told it would take 2 days for them to side our house. It took 4 1/2 days to side our ranch. 5) We were told they would take a magnet to the whole yard and on the decks to look for screws. They did not I'm still finding them thank God so far my 2.5 year old and dog haven't found them. 6) We were told that the dumpster company will do put dumpsters in the street. We had our roof replaced 3 weeks before hand and the same company put the dumpster in the street. Then several other houses had work done and their dumpsters were in the street. 7) It took them over a week to pick up the area materials that were too big to go in our garbage can and after the dumpster was removed. While the house color looks great it's been a lot of work to get here and I won't be back. They offered us a customer discount for future we declined because after this experience we won't be back. read more

After they got my business (siding, window s & gutters) for any repairs that I need to be done that's is under my warranty (it's all under 18 months), it's hard to get an appointment for any repairs and for them to show up on their appointment. No one calls to cancel, I need to keep calling to find out in the end that they will not going to show up. You need to wait again for another appointment and then no one shows up again!!! It's really frustrating to deal with this company! Thinking, we spend almost $150,000 & this is the customer service I got!!! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! read more

We had windows, doors, and siding done. The reps were wonderful. Very nice guys who spent a lot of time going over everything. They installed the windows first. The quality of work exceeded our expectations. They are perfect. The siding was next. Not so much. Many areas needed attention when they were through with the job. One person came back and fixed a couple of the major issues, and said someone would be back for the others. It took many calls to even get a callback. No one ever came back, and we're done trying. From the street it looks great. We are still finding nails on our lawn. Found about 30 so far. Our puppy had one in his mouth. Found one that I had to pull out of my foot. We just have to live with it at this point. The doors were the last part of the job. Again, they exceeded our expectations. They are perfect. Depends on what crew comes out I guess. read more

We had windows installed. The installation was good for the price, the clean up was the only spot that left some room for complaint. We initially thought they did a decent job but after going back out, we found a brick they damaged next to our window, some foam insulation we were hoping would scrape off (and didnt) and several cigarette butts that had been swept into our grass. Overall, they did nice work, our windows are pretty awesome and we appreciated their communication from scheduling to completion. read more

They show you a superior product you buy it and they install something entirely different than what you agreed to. Check out the photos! This is what they call a superior quality Pella window. It is nothing like the sample or prototype they show or sell you on and that you agree to purchase. I agreed to 9 double pane embedded in the frame window. I got cut glass placed in a cheap frame and shimmed (the glass is totally independent of the frame. This was covered up with weather stripping and not apparent until day two, I was cleaning the window and weather stripping started falling off and I saw the cut glass/shims. It was then that I knew these are not my windows!!!!! Not what I was sold on/agreed to have installed! Day 1 the glass cracked and has continued to in several windows. Vinyl is lifting, warping, shifting, screens are not flush and have gaps at the bottom on one or both sides, broken locks, window openers (to Open windows for cleaning them or fresh air are loose and pop up when used. Calking in and around windows is awful. Actually revising this fact had another contractor look at these windows and install. Installed incorrectly the windows are not flush to the inside stops like they should be. I thought it was poor calking causing the gaps on the sides of windows-this is the issue. They are also unlevel 78-90% level only. In Part why the screens have gaps and don't sit flush to the base. The windows have further shifted and gaps are becoming larger. These are not the superior quality windows I agreed to purchase or expected. These are much worse than the ones removed which were drafty. I wish I could have those windows back, I regret ever meeting and hiring Power and if Pella did make this windows which is indicated on the inside of the windows and locks. They should be ashamed of themselves!! Horrible quality. Update: Power home remodeling did come out 4/10 and assess and listen to the issues. But they are only fixing 4 glass panes/one set of locks and sealing a few areas. They refuse to give me the superior windows that I purchased and agreed to. They refuse to install windows properly they are leaving the screens with gaps so I will get bugs in the house, yay!! Looking forward to that. I keep Hearing The windows are under warranty" yes I see how that works out for the many customers who have contacted you with issues they have to Live with those defects for 6m to 2+ years. Risking the integrity of their home(water damage, bugs etc) I agreed to buy/willingly pay for quality windows!!! These are crap. I just want what was agreed to!! If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. RUN to Andersen. Save yourselves. The process to get the windows installed was fantastic. Took my money no problem. I hope you never need service! I called and was given a 4.5 month lead time!!!! For a tech!!! Day comes and 30 minutes before window starts I get a text it's canceled and pushed out another 60 days. Called and was on hold for 2 hours total throughout the day. Customer service can only email corporate, and no one takes you seriously or cares. Please do not get windows here. There are various companies with reputable service models. Don't be fooled. Run and quickly in the other direction. BEWARE. Predatory sales tactics. Knocked on my door repeatedly and refused to take no for an answer. Basically had to shut my door on them to get them to leave. Their tactics should be considered harassment. Think about - what legitimate company would need to rely on such aggressive sales tactics ti get business?? We have been customers of Power Home Remodeling since 2014, and our experience with their warranty service and customer support has steadily declined. Power has returned to our home multiple times for issues that should have been permanently resolved. Our gutters required service in the past, and our front door has needed repair five separate times. Despite these recurring problems, every warranty request results in a six‑month wait, which is unacceptable for a company that advertises premium products and a "lifetime warranty." Most recently, we contacted Power about a gutter issue on a different side of the house. Instead of honoring the warranty, we were told the policy had changed and that we now must guarantee our gutters are not clogged. We were never notified of any policy change, and this requirement was not part of our original agreement. Despite our documented service history, Power refused to send a technician to even inspect the issue. The customer service experience was equally concerning. The representative we spoke with was rude and unprofessional, refused to let us speak with a manager, and placed us on a "manager call‑back list." During the call, we could hear people laughing in the background, which made the interaction feel dismissive and disrespectful. A warranty is only meaningful if the company stands behind it. Power Home Remodeling has not. The repeated service failures, excessive delays, unannounced policy changes, refusal to inspect a new issue, and unprofessional customer service have severely damaged our trust in this company. We are requesting management review our account, honor the original warranty terms, and address the conduct of their customer service staff. read more

Visited their booth yesterday at home show and was greeted by their sales person Ben. He explained the "just coming out for free estimate" to look at windows. As any sales pitch it cost nothing to come out and do a free estimate. Give them a try. Received call for confirmation this morning at 8:30 for 10am visit from Steve as he is confirming he inquired how my credit was. I expressed not great and we are not looking to sign today. Steve was annoyed at not being able to possibly get a sale and reassured it's just a free estimate. He also didn't like that I told him I am also in sales so I get how the system works. Not even 10 mins later they call my husband instead of me to cancel as they sincerely apologize they are slammed today. Unprofessional and I am glad they canceled. read more

At first I was impressed with this company. Sales is a bit pushy but my roof was done quickly and looked great. However it started to leak within a week. Under the warranty they returned quickly to make repair. It is now leaking again. I am told the soonest they can get someone here is June 12. Today is March 5th. Totally unacceptable. Called them and they gave me some BS story about the manufacturer of the sealant stopped making it and it is a sealant problem. They want $360 per window to replace. Stay away these folks. Their sales people are nice but they promise lifetime warranty with peace of mind etc. but reality is exactly opposite. Couple of my windows are not closing after cleanup. I have called Service to help with that. They said their service date is four months away. Should I sleep and cold for four months stay with these folks service is horrible. Morning of June 3rd got a call from company saying technician called in sick and appt rescheduled for August 21 Next availability. Called customer support with no earlier resolution. Company does not honor warranty servicing in reasonable time. Second similar incident with this company for warranty service. Expensive and not honor its warranty in a timely mannner. Starting out with I never give a one star review and I dont like to bash place's online because they do have some good workers that need their jobs. I couldn't sit here and let people spend their hard earned money without letting them know how horrible this company is. They canceled on me multiple times (only one was weather permitting) and did not even call. I would take off of work , get a babysitter and no-one would show up . Every time I called they kept transferring me and I would leave voicemails and get no response. When i finally got a response I was told they are on a holiday retreat. ( that seems to be more important than the customers who pay their income) . Not only was that a horrible 5 week experience but when they did my windows they left 6 undone with wood trimming so had to reach out for them once again too come back. (Not done yet) my bay window Had a nail from the molding come through the bottom board and i was told by the installer it was an accident . Took 3 weeks for someone to try and fix it which did not work. I was told after going back and forth they would redo the whole thing and parts would be in by 2-3 weeks . I waited 8.5 weeks ( which they could have told me prior they dont know and not give me a time a frame) . Also they dont do itemize breakdowns for their invoices or send you a filled out form for your tax refund since ( its energy saving) so you have to run around and either fill it out yourself or ask the accountant. They still call me and ring my bell asking if i want an estimate? Do they not look into their computers and check notes. There is no communication. Never in my life would I recommend this company. Your better off paying for Andersen windows even though they're more expensive but definitely will have a better experience. read more

Would NOT recommenced at all! They will scam you when it comes to your warranty. I tried to put in a claim on my window only to be told they don't cover those windows anymore. I paid around $5,000.00 for 5 windows with a lifetime warranty. There were cheaper windows out there but the warranty was a good fit for me. That is until I tried to put in a claim. My experience with Power's roofing service was top notch from the initial contact with sales rep Jeremy through installation and follow up inspection. Jeremy spent 3 hours with us inspecting our roof both outside and in the attic, and explained the whole process with an in depth demonstration of the process. The installation crew was on time and worked diligently through completion. The follow up inspection was much excellent and much appreciated. read more

Nicholas Spindel from PowerHRG was the first person we encountered while he was out door knocking. We listened to him and decided to give PowerHRG the benefit of the doubt to schedule an appointment, despite having previous experiences with Anderson Windows. Brian Wilson later called to answer some of our questions, providing thorough and honest responses, which led us to keep the appointment for a home visit. Jamie Grunhurd was the highlight. He explained everything in great detail, making us feel very comfortable. His warm and inviting approach, coupled with visual aids, helped justify the need for replacement windows. Unfortunately, since we are both on a fixed income and I am currently fighting cancer, we are unable to proceed with the window replacement. They do not honor their lifetime warranty on windows. Paid PHR to replace every single window in my home in 2016. The price was high, but the reviews at the time were good. 10 years later, every single window PHR put in has failed, and up to now, May 2026, they have replaced them at no charge. Now they are saying I must pay 180.00 per pane to replace the window when it fails (the seals fail), as the manufacturer no longer produces the window, and they are being charged 180.00 per pane for a like product. I contacted the manufacturer of NBP products in PA, and they said it was a lie. They don't charge PHR for windows sent to them under their warranty claim. NBP also stated that my issue is with PHR, not them, as PHR is the installer. I put up with the long delays in getting my windows replaced (the typical time from calling is 4-6 months)... Now I am at my wits' end as more of my windows fail, and PHR refuses to replace them unless I pay 180.00 each. read more

Update as of 9 Dec 2025: PHRG no longer honors the Lifetime Warranty they promoted when I purchased my windows in 2013. Instead, they now offer a "special line" of window sashes from Northeast Building Products--the supplier they no longer even contract with--as their solution for customers experiencing window issues (failing seals) with PHRG's original line of windows that PHRG installed. Their current proposal is to replace the sashes using this special line and subsidize the cost so the homeowner pays $175 per sash. This product is described as having "special technology," which sounds identical to the claims made about the original windows. PHRG provides only a labor warranty on these replacements--not a product warranty--so if there are any issues with these new sashes, the customer has no recourse. And replacing a sash usually takes no more than ten minutes of labor. What makes this even more troubling is that PHRG continued to sell and install these poor-quality windows with failing seals even after they already knew this was an ongoing issue. Based on my experience, I feel that PHRG misled their customers about the quality of the windows and the validity of the lifetime warranty. In my opinion, their conduct is unethical enough that it should be examined in court. Buyer beware--be cautious, and do not use PHRG. It will be costly and frustrating to use this company. Perhaps PHRG will respond to this update as they did to my original review, but unless they address these issues, and no longer standing by their lifetime warranty, honestly and transparently, they will not be truthful in their response. Original Review: Do not buy windows from Power Home Remodeling. The window seals break every 2/3 years. Apparently direct sun light breaks the seals which leads to energy inefficient windows with large silver streaks in glass pane. This is known issue in the company when I spoke to the warranty department. Forget what Power Home Remodeling says about lifetime replacement. The sashes are replaced but can take over a year for a window to come in AND 6 months to schedule a technician to come to the house. And then you will be replacing again. Do your research on the company and reviews. I too gave a 5 star review when my windows were installed. I would now give 0 stars. Save yourself the money and frustration. The windows are not good quality and the warranty/service is awful. I tried to escalate the window issues and service concerns in the company with no response. Please do NOT use POWER HOME AND REMODELING. THEY ARE A SCAM! When we first bought our house in 2016 we got new windows. 14 of them costing us 1k each windows. HUGE INVESTMENT. They came out sat with us for 4 hrs explaining what their windows do why they are so pricey but also offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Even if we were to move, the warranty was suppose to carry over. They supposedly fix everything from soup to nuts, rather from soup to caviar...well 9 years later my husband called to tell them we have condensation buildup. They tell him it was a faulty installation BUT our 14 windows are discontinued so, there is nothing they can do unless we want to buy a new window at a discounted rate. I think not. Everything they said was a lie. Please beware of this company as they talk a good one but when it comes down to it, they take your money and leave you high and dry in less than a decade nevermind a lifetime. We will be looking for a lawyer for this matter so if anyone knows of someone who handles this type of matter please let me know and most importantly be careful of who you go with because even a licensed company can be deceiving. read more
