Stay away from these door-to-door scam artists. Chase them off your porch, cancel the appointment, don't even open the door -- or you'll be sorry too. Back in 2019, the installation went smoothly. The crew was respectful, explained everything, and the windows looked good at first. I even left them a positive review at the time, with the salesman literally standing over my shoulder watching me write it. Update - 06/21/22 One window failed: inner pane distorted, film peeling, visibility ruined. I called on 5/2/22 under what was supposed to be a "lifetime warranty." They said it was on back-order, then later told me it could take 12-14 months. This was strange, considering the sales pitch claimed they made their own windows. Now they were suddenly blaming an outside manufacturer. Meanwhile, my neighbor who used Window World had a similar issue -- his window was replaced in two weeks, no hassle. Update - 08/09/22 Still waiting. By then, I regretted choosing this company. Their sales pitch alone should've warned me: a high-pressure, nearly 3-hour presentation where they won't leave until you sign. Their pricing was almost double Window World's, too. Update - 02/15/23 Replacement finally arrived after months of frustration. I knew then I'd never use them again. Update - 12/01/2025 This is the worst part: they're no longer honoring the "lifetime" warranty that helped sell me on the product. I called about another failed window and was told replacement would now cost $200 because they "changed manufacturers." In other words, the lifetime warranty they sold me is now meaningless. For comparison, my brother had his whole house done by Window World, and his warranty work has always been simple and honored without excuses -- the experience I wish I had from the start. In my experience, this company's warranty practices, sales tactics, and follow-through have been unreliable and frustrating. Changing key terms after the sale, especially the so-called lifetime warranty, destroyed any trust I had. If you're considering them, get multiple quotes and look elsewhere. I was skeptical at first when I got the knock on the door from the salesman. I had just finished my day at work and was laying on the couch when I heard the knock on the door. Nevertheless, I went ahead and listened to what the salesman had to say. I agreed to schedule a free estimate with their window guy because I was interested in seeing what the company had to offer as far as windows for my house. The house that I live in was built around 2000, and the windows that came with the house did not prevent outside noise from coming in, so I was looking for a better option that would help my energy bills while providing me with peace and quiet. The sales rep showed up the next day and gave a presentation of the products that the company offers. This ranged from windows, doors, and insulation. But, what I was looking for was windows, so we concentrated on that. The presentation was very in depth, and the sales rep showed how the windows are built to protect the home from the sun, as well as the durability of the product. I decided on what type of window that I wanted and an installation date was scheduled. The company met all of the scheduled hard times, and they were consistently following up to check on the progress, and my satisfaction with how the job was going. When the project was half way done, a quality representative showed up to the house to ensure that everything was being done according to the standards of the company, and to my satisfaction. I am very happy with the work that was done on my house. This is one of the most professional organizations that I have ever dealt with. In fact, I have decided to have more work done on my house by this company. UPDATE of the Update - The trespassing salespeople (i.e. who jump over gate-coded gates and walk down 400 foot driveways into private property) lie to their employers and say "the gate was open" to your property, so they just "walked in..." Funny. Neighbors watched him jump over our CLOSED and LOCKED gate and proceed down 400 feet of driveway after he had trespassed on their property first. And, they have a security camera that watched him do it. Update - just spoke with "Zack" at the home office of this seedy, shady company. He is uncooperative, unapologetic, and refused to account for sales tactics that involve criminal trespassing. If this company enters your neighborhood, alert your neighbors IMMEDIATELY. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just filed criminal trespassing charges against this company for jumping a locked and gate coded ranch gate and accosting us on our property, including 3 other neighbors. They will jump over fencing and come to your back door and enter your property. Williamson County Sheriffs are filing the charges for their flagrant trespassing in our neighborhood. They park in your neighborhood in white unmarked vans. They wear dark blue pullover sweatshirts with a "Power" logo on the right breast. They will jump a fence or gate, and if you don't answer the front door, they'll go to the back door and pound on your door. Very disturbing! If you read the other Yelp reviews on this company, you'll find that they will take down all your information online on their site, then never show up...will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, as well. My wife answered the door. A solicitor offered window replacement. She showed him our French doors that had wood rot. He said he'd have another person come back later when I came home from work at 7:30pm. When I returned home he was there measuring the doors. He then came into our living room and began a presentation. His presentation skills were good but it began to drag on, We informed him that we were interested in one repair and one repair only. He went back out to his truck. We figured he got the message and would begin to work up an estimate. He came back with a case and continued his presentation. We sat and listened politely. At the end of that phase of his presentation, he then went out and did a little more measuring. He pointed out another repair that we needed. I told him that I probably had a list of 100 repairs and keenly knew my priorities for addressing them. He then came back in with an even larger case. To my dismay, the dog & pony show continued. I continued to listen and thought: "ok. I've had enough. He's been here an hour. I'm gonna put a stop to this." He went outside and came back in with another case! I was completely shocked at this guy's unwillingness to listen to his prospective client's needs. I said: "you've got 5 minutes and then we need to prepare dinner." He seemed upset and walked out his truck. When he returned, I asked for the estimate. He wrote on his card "1 Million Dollars". I couldn't believe that I just wasted an hour of my prescious time with this guy and got nothing for it. I lectured him about how he didn't listen to our needs and that he had wasted our time. HE THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO ACCUSE ME OF WASTING HIS TIME. Moral of the story: When a door to door salesman rings your doorbell; don't answer it. read more

Like many others have said the sales people are there to push you into things you dont want as well as asking questions that dont concern them. I called and was asked if i had a spouse.... because he would need to be at the estatement if so. I proceeded to let them know that i was perfectly capable of handling this all by myself. He explained to me it was necessary because thats how they end up with bad reviews because of miscommunication to all parties involved. (This went on until i simply lied to him so we could move past how they think my marriage should be ran) I went ahead and made an appointment and was told they would call to confirm address. When they called back they had the nerve to verify everything again, ask me once again if i had a spouse, and ask if i had good credit because they had financing. I said no to the spouse (wasnt getting trapped in that again) and that i wouldnt be needing financing i would pay cash. Then he said oh im so sorry about this but we overbooked today. Needless to say after reading the other reviews i have a weird feeling they wanted my spose there because they need to do their sales pitch and addons to both of us, im a sales person so i know it works better that way. Also they couldnt image me being able to pay cash for the services so that means .. A. They were going to over charge or B. They are really good at talking people into buying outside their cash range. They seem to do good work but i would make sure you get a few qoutes before deciding because im sure they are adding things you dont need and are a bit over priced. Everyone we worked with, from the sales team to installers, were friendly and professional. we found them at a show and scheduled a consultation. Garrett Perkins, sales dept, came and walked with us thru the house. He noticed that our wood front door was cracking. He also looked at all 45 windows and took basic measurements. He came back a few days later with his boss and 2 project coordinators. They spent a few hours with us. Exactly measuring all the windows we would replace. Exactly measuring the front door. We mentioned our roof issues. They climbed up and noted the problems immediately. We approved for them to replace the front door, all windows and the roof. The roofers came and had the entire roof and skylights replaced in under 2 days. The front door was in within 3 hours. The windows were done in 2 days. Cameron, Quality Control, came to see how the work was going. He also wanted to verify what the Coordinators had told him about 'seeping' in the attic. It was bad. He apologized that the sales man didn't let us know and suggest we get a radiant barrier. We signed up with him for the installation of the radiant barrier and 3 other windows. Due to their slight hiccup, we will only pay for materials and labor. They offer a Lifetime, transferable warranty. So our kids and grandkids won't have to worry about replacing the door, windows or roof unless something happens. Then PHR will replace ay no charge. Cameron told us if the front door won't lock, they will come out immediately. It's considered an emergency. I'm looking forward to lower energy bills too. read more

Power's crew (Carlos' crew) came and installed a "facelift" on our house yesterday by updating our outdated aluminum framed windows on the front of the house. We had a GREAT EXPERIENCE! I can not praise Carlos' crew enough. They were professional, personable and efficient. You could tell that each crew member knew their role and as one person finished the next one came behind and took over. The windows look great and are sealed far better than the originals were. Impressively, from the outside of the house you can't see in them during the day time. The functionality of the windows are far better than any other windows I have ever seen in any home. The safety features on this window were what really sold my wife and the efficiency is what really sold me. I know how pushy other window company's can be and it has been the opposite for Power HR. In the last 24 hours since the install I have received 3-4 phone calls asking how the crew is and if I have any questions. The company and crew are top notch and if you haven't received a free estimate and demonstration I HIGHLY encourage it. If for nothing else just to check out the functionality and features of the windows. Because of the quality of the windows and the efficiency of the crew we are having them come back to finish the other half of the house in 2 months. I am looking forward to the whole house looking like new. If nothing else, read the other reviews. Took me for a lot of money. Had me convinced that my roof was going to fall in on me. Showed me a few pictures after going up in my attic and said they needed to do the work asap. Being afraid, and not knowing much about what needed to be done, I ended up agreeing to pay 4 times ($26K) the amount of money that most people pay for replacing the shingles. I thought they were going to do a lot more than shingles with my roof being so bad off. They have no Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, no one was going to come out to check the work and so I had a friend go up in the attic and he said he couldn't see anything that they had told me about the framing falling down. I called them back and they nailed a few boards on the rafters and left. I insisted someone come out to check what they did and someone came out and told me that somethings should have been done that wasn't done and he would have them to come back out and do it right. Well they have never bothered to come back, I called and called and they would make appointments to come out and they would never show up. I am warning everyone that they are looking for elderly women that don't understand like me to take advantage of. They go through the neighborhoods looking for prey. Don't let them in your house! They told me that they were recommended by Angie's List, but beware! read more

My husband scheduled the free estimate, we had several estimates prior but nothing that seemed quite worth the investment.After speaking with Michael B. for a bit we were completely sold. He was totally professional and had a lot of knowledge about the products, however, the demonstration could have sold itself. Everything we discussed in the demo went off without a hitch, from the second measure to the install. I was completely impressed with how clean the install was, literally not a speck of dirt. The quality is exactly as I had hoped for down to the tiniest of details . There was a small issue with one of the screens after install and they literally repaired before noon the following day. The following day we had the inspection with John C. and he made sure everything was perfect down to making sure there was not even a tin bubble in the caulk. I would strongly suggest using them for home remodeling, anyone can go to home depot and pick out any run of the mill product, but chances are it does not come with personalized service you will receive from Power. Every time we have welcomed them into our house we have felt comfortable with their company, their product and their service. I give them 6 stars because they're worth it. read more

I was sold a solar system by Power Home Remodeling in January 2025 based on multiple false promises. The representative assured us we would receive a $10,000 refundable tax credit in cash, even after we disclosed that we had no tax liability. He also stated the system would fully offset our electricity usage and include a battery. None of this was true. I attempted to cancel on the day of installation but was told it was too late and pressured to sign completion documents. The system is undersized, lacks a battery, and cannot deliver what was promised. We are now locked into a $44,500 loan and have had to spend more to supplement and correct the installation. After formally notifying the company under Texas consumer law, they offered $10,000 -- far below the actual damages. I submitted a final counteroffer and gave them a full month to respond. They've ignored it. My total losses now exceed $93,000. This has been one of the most frustrating and financially damaging experiences of my life. I strongly caution others to verify all claims in writing before signing anything with Power Home Remodeling. read more

We really liked working with Power Home Remodeling. Austin was very friendly and made you feel very comfortable talking with him. He answered all of questions in detail. Brad and Michael was our construction crew. They covered all of our items up and made sure our carpet was taking care of. They cleaned up every thing inside and out. They vacuum the carpet to make sure there was not glass on our carpet. We just love how our house looks. I didn't even want to put the curtains back up, I just wanted to keep looking at my new windows from Power Home Remodeling. Power Home Remodeling did a excellent job. John met with us after the project was finished. He is Power Home Remodeling QC man. He made sure every thing was done correctly and made sure we were happy with the finished project. He is funny, personable, and his presentation speaks for itself. He went the extra mile and got Robert out to the house when we voiced our concerns on our roof. Remodeling of course is costly but the quality of their supplies, the efficiency of their work and every person that we've met has been a positive light our day. This company is the best. Vai explained the process from start to finish. She is very professional and informative. She knows the product really well. She explained the process step by step and if we had any questions she knew the answer. She has a great personality and a great people person. The days before the installation someone from the company call to inform me some of my windows wasn't ready and they gave me the option install the 9 that was ready or wait until the other 4 were ready. Of course I wanted the 9 install. The day of the install the workers arrived on time I would say 830 and it was completed by 12. The workers friendly and very helpful. The clean up was great. No glass was found inside of the house nor outside. They laid down protective sheets to protect my carpet and they cleaned that up as well. Project manager Steve. Great guy. We walked around the house to inspect the completed project as well as the inside of the house. He explained the warranty and I even purchased a new back door. read more

We were having trouble with our old windows for a long time and one day a salesman from Power Home Remodeling knocked on our door to talk to us about their windows. He gave us a demonstration about how their windows don't let the heat go through them, and that they are very strong too. We were happy with the quality but they also gave a good price, and they gave discounts and financing, getting to a low monthly payment. The salesman was very patient with us. The installation was quick and they were very clean. A few days later someone from the company went to our house to verify that the windows were properly installed. Everything was good, but he also offered doors that help with conserving energy like their windows. He offered a good price for the doors but also offered to refinance our windows for a significantly reduced interest rate, due to the fact that now we had multiple projects with them (windows and doors). I had the best experience with this company. Power Remodeling. We were thinking about getting a new roof but not quite ready I didn't think until Gage came knocking at my door. He was an ex-military veteran, Christian, respectful and engaging all at once. He made the appointment with Cole. Cole showed up to his appointment on time. Cole spent a long time with me and my husband to be sure we knew what we were getting into and why it was a good idea to go ahead and bite the bullet. We had Chris double check measurements and he also was on time. The workers were here before scheduled time and ready to work. I needed a very large roof but on a very hot day it was completed that very day. So happy with them we bought gutters and attic installation.
