I've been coming here for a few months and I LOVE this studio. Always wanted to try Pilates so…read morefinally Decided to just start! While it's best to book classes early as they do get pretty full, it makes sense because each instructor really does give you personal attention as it's only 4 to a class. All of them are great but my personal favorite is hanh! She is so skilled at what she does and Really gives you a good workout! I highly recommend!

So as pilates and yoga studies go, this is a great deal. As mentioned in my review of Hamilton…read moreHealth and Fitness (http://www.yelp.com/biz/hamilton-health-and-fitness-jersey-city#hrid:qk5Neuxy1xBfqtIMhi8Nbw), PP is found inside HHF. So, when purchasing a class at PP you also get use of all HHF classes, pool, locker rooms and steam room. What a great deal and why I give PP a 5 star review. The classes range from a mat class, to tower, to reformer classes. All the teachers I have had (only 3) have been extremely knowledgeable and did a great job teaching. The tower and reformer classes are amazing. The machines really make it a little more challenging. I do have to say that these classes are 1 hour and when you are doing the reformer it is a little annoying to constantly take away and add bands so I feel that the class "lesson" could be crafted a little bit better to minimize the process. Overall a great venue to get your workout on. I have scooped up 2 Living Social Deals for PP that have been amazing. So, be on the lookout for maybe another one in 6 months.

I started Pilates after a recommendation from my physical therapist while recovering from a partial…read moremeniscus tear, and I am so grateful that journey led me to this studio. What began as a way to regain strength and feel more in control of my body has become something I genuinely cannot imagine going without. This studio is incredible. From my very first intro session, I felt welcomed, supported, and challenged in the best way. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping you get the most out of each class. They focus so much on proper form, which makes the practice feel safe, effective, and intentional. While I definitely have my personal favorite instructors, one of the best parts of this studio is that every teacher brings something different. They each have their own style, strengths, and way of teaching, and they are all excellent in their own ways. Trying new classes and different teaching styles has helped me learn what works best for my body, and it is part of what keeps the practice so interesting. If one class or teaching style does not click right away, it does not mean Pilates is not for you. It may just mean you have not found your favorite instructor or class format yet. The variety of classes is another thing that makes this studio stand out. There is always something new to learn, refine, or work toward, so the practice never feels stale. Whether you are brand new or looking to level up, the classes meet you where you are while still pushing you to grow. Over time, I went from an 8-class monthly package to an unlimited membership because I loved it so much. The impact has been both physical and mental, and this studio has played such a big role in helping me build consistency, confidence, and strength. I'm now at the point where I have been gifting gift cards to friends and family because I want them to experience this place too. If you are on the fence, give it a shot. This studio is truly special, and your body will thank you.

Fire. Great class, great instructor (Cait). The class was a 9am and had 4 of us in it on the…read morereformers-it was challenging but enjoyable. You can access this studio via ClassPass, and per Cait, they're actually looking to open up 1-2 more locations (for uptown locale!). I believe you can buy direct class packages as well. Not sure if they're on MINDBODY too. Things to be aware of: 1)it's a small studio, and there might be private therapeutic sessions on the two larger/more complex reformers in the back right. 2) They don't have a lot of extra space for (your) stuff, just small cubbies in the studio-one for each member (don't bring too much stuff, and try and make sure you have a smaller bag--shoes and umbrellas go outside the entrance/door) 3) they do TRX classes as well (looking forward to trying one of those)! 4) Cait hosts a running club in Hoboken (see Athleta's insta or DM her for timing-it's usually on the Bum Pilates insta stories) 5) walk, lyft or lime-parking is REALLY challenging since it's right by the path Definitely worth a try if you've done Pilates (and even if you haven't).
