We saw our neighbors getting their carpets cleaned, and decided to do the same. We know our neighbor to be price & quality conscious, and particular. Our neighbor was pleased with the service, so we had PSCC do our house. We moved all the furniture we could out the way and off all the carpet. Only thing left on the carpet was the beds, and one large, heavy, piece of furniture. I then vacuumed every bit of our carpet until the dirt sensor, on the vacuum, glowed green (indicating no dirt). Note: While the "cleaning wand" can reach a bit under the beds, the furniture could only be cleaned around. Doug H. was our "Lead Technician". I think he did a good job. Now Yelp used to call 5 stars "As good as it gets", and never having this done before, I wouldn't know. But now Yelp calls 5 stars great, and 4 stars good. And since I think a good job was done, I'll go with 4. About the only thing I didn't like is that our living room was considered two rooms, "because of the size." Also, closets are cleaned at a flat rate of $30 (which seemed high, but we did get a 2 for deal deal). When Doug finished, he turned on the ceiling fans in all the rooms. I also had cracked all the windows in all the rooms to get some fresh air. We did find one spot that needed a little extra work, but Doug did get it out. We were told to try to stay off the carpet for 6 to 8 hours, but if we had to go on it, wear white socks. I went barefoot the one time I had to get something from one of the rooms. It seemed it took a little longer to dry, but in the end we were pleased with the work done. Oh, our water supply was used, via the hose bib on the side of the house. Bottom line: And now it's almost time to list our home. read more

I was really nervous to have these guys come and clean my carpets, after reading the reviews but I am ecstatic with the job done. The prices were comparable, I shopped around, but they were the only company that could come on short notice. I'm moving and needed my carpets cleaned before my furniture comes. The stains were horrible and every single one of them are gone. I'm shocked at how good my carpets look and smell. The rep, Bruce, was super friendly, he did mention some "other guys" that we're not so nice and would rip people off. We talked, he gave me advice on how to clean future pet messes and even spent a few minutes with my dogs. The only negative is the time frame. They told me they'd be here between 12p-5p. While they came within the timeframe, which made me happy, it seems like a more accurate/a shorter timeframe should be easier to figure out. For any of my future carpet cleanings I will definitely use these guys and recommend them and also Bruce to people I know! read more

I used this company to clean our whole house (2 stories) before we moved into our newly-purchased, empty house. Their quote was reasonable and the tech showed up on time. He did what he had been asked to do, which was clean all the carpet in the house. However, there are two things that were disappointing: there were a couple of upcharges I was not aware of before the day of, for things like 'oh, this room is larger than a standard room, so therefore I have to charge you more'. I dislike that, and feel that it is a little shady. Secondly, and just as important, was something I did realize until last week (the whole house carpet cleaning was in January). There were several dark spots in our living room and dining room that I assumed, and hoped, would come out with shampooing because the carpet was visibly dirty. They did not come out, and when I mentioned it to the tech, he said "Oh, yeah, those didn't come out", so I assumed they were permanent stains. Fast forward to last week: I needed a carpet cleaning company who could specialize in a particular issue come out to address my dining room. Incidentally, on an unrelated note, he saw the spots and said he would treat them...and viola! They came right out. Immediately. This naturally made me wonder how much effort--if any--the first cleaning technician put into getting those spots out. This was disappointing, after the fact! read more

Pretty good experience with them. They only clean open areas (you pay per room if you want furniture moved) but did a pretty thorough job. In terms of price, it's pretty comparable to other cleaning companies but it's hard to tell because all the bells and whistles cost extra. The service was professional and courteous. read more

This is my first experience with Power Steam Clean and I am quite pleased with the result. My sister's baby shower was looming ahead and I called Power Steam with just one day's notice asking for any time they had to clean the couches. The new puppy had done a number on them and I knew it would be embarrassing to have people sit on them in that condition. Power Steam was able to get me an appointment last minute (thank goodness!!!). My tech arrived at the end of my time window but definitely on time. He did a GREAT job! David made sure that everything was cleaned thoroughly and pointed out some stains I had missed initially. I'm very thankful that my sister's guests will be seated on comfortable, clean furniture due to David's hard work. I actually called in to the office as soon as he left because I was so pleased. After reading all the good reviews, I wished my experience had been better. The tech did not show up within the time frame but I could not reschedule since I had moved furniture and my work schedule would not allow. I had to call the Power Steam office at least twice to get an update on time frame. A tech finally showed up 4 hours past the time frame but was not the originally scheduled tech. He was in a big hurry and unfortunately my carpet looked no better than before it was steam cleaned. I had to pull out my little carpet shampooer and was able to much better results on my carpet. We really love the work that has been done. We had our living room carpet cleaned and are very pleased! Bruce was very nice and gave suggestions for what needs to be done. He told me the cost up front so I knew what I was going to pay which was nice. We had several stains from animal pee/throw up. By Far the BEST cleaning experience I have ever had. I have used other companies in the past such as the high priced Dalworth and they don't compare to Power Steam. The woman who answered the phone was very sweet and answered all my questions to the carpet cleaner who was amazing. He removed stains that I thought could NEVER come out. What an awful experience. First of all the staff are subcontractors and definitely not uniformed like the ad says in the mail flyers. My carpet is not much better and to be honest the person who cleaned my carpet said some things to me you would not believe. I don't think they used cleaners in some of the rooms. I thought maybe they were stains, but I went over it with my hoover and it came right up. I would have called and complained to get my money back, but now they know where I live so why tell them I am not satisfied. I don't want to roll those dice. I had this company come out and clean the carpet in my home and they did a great job. They got out all of the spots and dirt in my carpet and now my house smells fresh and my floors look clean instead of dirty! The tech took his time and pre-spotted before he even started working on my carpet. He was friendly and intent on doing a good job for me and he did. I am very pleased with the results that I got and I even used a coupon. So many times you just don't get good results when you tell a place that you are using their coupon, but I did with these guys.
