Thou worth has always been my go to place for rug and upholstery cleaning. We had two swivel chairs that are light colored and needed to be cleaned as well as have protection put on them. We contacted right before Christmas for pickup. They came promptly and picked up 4 rugs for a deep cleaning procedure. The rugs were returned about 8 days later and reinstalled. Looked up their website found they were offering $50 of for a $200 minimum order. Called and got a quote to clean our rug. Rug delivered in great shape but the charges seemed high. Call customer service and was told that offer was for Dalworth clean not Dalworth rug clean. Really leaves a sour taste to an otherwise good job. Heads up people, get those quotes in writing. I had an appointment for Saturday between 12pm and 2pm. I received an email confirming the appointment. Since I had not seen or heard from Dalworth by 2:30 I called. They said the truck had broken down that morning and the office did not have an update. Dalworth never called me to let me know there would be a delay or a no show. My Saturday is shot. Scheduled for a duct cleaning in our new house due to our daughter's severe dog allergies and the previous owners had dogs. The original appointment was rescheduled by the company and we agreed due to the urgency. The new time that the service was to be done, I received a call that they were no longer able to come. We asked for a reschedule as soon as possible but we were told that it wouldn't be for over a week. I was promised a return phone call, but didn't receive one. Called again two days later and was promised another return call from supervisor to get this service scheduled. It has been four days and still have not received a single phone call. Needless to say, our daughter is taking medications to keep her comfortable as we wait for service... if we don't hear by tomorrow, then we will be looking for another company ASAP to help us! read more

We have hardwood floors and added a new puppy to the mix. Little Clayre felt the floors were worthy of chewing. We began looking at possibly replacing the entire area and looking at the cost. I had set up a cleaning for last Saturday between 11am to 1:00 pm. No one showed. When I called at 3:00 pm- they said someone had driven by and saw that I was on the second story- which I had already told their receptionist that I was on the first floor however my part of the building has a basement area. Anyhow she ask me to hold, she came back on and said sh'd call me right back in 10 minutes. That call never came back. I called today asking if they are still working. I recently bought a huge silk/poly shag rug that my dog felt needed to be christened (peed on, rather). I called Dalworth due to a tv ad about them picking up rugs and dropping them off for free. They were also doing a percentage off your first service. SOLD! 2 men came a few days later moved furniture off the rug, rolled it up, and said they would be the following week to deliver it. I received a call confirming a good time for the delivery of the rug. It was delivered smelling great, stain free and in new condition for about $200. Very easy, quality service for busy people like me! I will use them every season to keep our rugs sanitized. read more

I don't know who these customers are referring to or what company provided "good" services to many who submitted good reviews; apparently, we're not using the same company. I am a Disabled Iraq war veteran who is unable to clean my area rug in my Living Room, as my area rug measured I believe 10x13. This company and it's personnel are very unprofessional; inconsistent; unknowledgeable and very dishonest. First, I was searching for a local company who cleaned area rugs, and I came across in my google search Dalworth Rug Cleaning. I thought, "ok"; if anything, I was not "AT ALL" expecting for this type of service to come out of Dalworth; but I should had known, as I use to attend a H.S. in Grand Prairie, which bused in many of the Dalworth children back in the early 80's. Anyway, I made several phone calls in an attempt to reach someone at this company, as there were "NEVER" anyone to answer the phones directly; instead, there was always a voice greeting instructing you to leave a message and someone would return the call. Well, a day turned into 2; then into 3; heck, I can't even recall when I "FINALLY" received a call back. When someone finally called, I provided my specifics as to what I was wanting and the young lady abruptly said someone would call me back. Once again, a day turned into 2; then to 3???? Nevertheless, when someone once again FINALLY returned my call, information were exchanged, as we agreed upon a day for pick up. This scheduled pick up did not go well; either, as no one ever showed up; then when I went through the process ONCE AGAIN to try to call and speak to an actual person, I was told that they did not have anyone coming to my area around the time we initially "AGREED" for pick up. At this point I was furious and time was of the essence to have my area rug cleaned before I undergo an upcoming major surgery for an incident that occurred while I was in Iraq. Nevertheless, another appointment was scheduled, but this time they gave me a 4-hour window on a monday, when I "CLEARLY" told them at the beginning of our phone discussion that I would be attending several doctor's appointments on monday morning, as mondays are my days I set aside for medical. Well, while I was heading home from a neuropathy appointment, I received a call from; I believe her name is Vilmarie Toucet, (since this is the name on my invoice I received via email) stating that they were 20 min out from my home. Of course, I ripped into her and said since you people gave me a 4-hour window from 8-11am, it is now only 9am, I will see you when I get home as I was not going to speed and kill myself just to meet them at my house. Mind you, I still ended up arriving home before them; yet she deliberately said they were "ONLY" 20 min out. So clearly she lied, and to add insult to injury, I knew the exact time she and her colleague arrived to my home, because I have cameras all around my property. After she and her colleague arrived, information once again were exchanged, as well as the rug being measured for accuracy purposes, and I signed the electronic invoice of the cost it would be to clean the area rug. Finally, before they left I asked what is the expected time to receive the rug, she clearly said Monday, May 31, 2021 between 1:00 - 3:00pm. I said ok, and began prepping my living room for the return of the clean area rug. Today is May 31, 2021 and I finally received a messages left on my v/m after 5:00pm that my rug is expected to return on Tuesday, June 1, between 1:00-3:00pm. This is so frustrating; to say the least. Now, mind you, they will try to defend themselves and save their ass and company reputation and say that we've made several attempts to telephone you, which may or may not be true, because what I do know is that this company DO NOT telephone you from the same number. No, these people call you from several DIFFERENT numbers, that my phone does not identify. On the day that I received a call back from an actual person, I logged in that number to my phone, so that I would know when they call, should there be any additional information, questions or concerns they may have pertaining to my rug; which was now in their possession. This company needs to more consistent and honest and telephone customers from a consistent company number; other than to be shady, by calling from several cell numbers; which, is so inappropriate and unprofessional. Rest assure, this is one Veteran who WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY SERVICES EVER AGAIN; NOR WILL I DIRECT ANY OF MY FAMILY; COLLEAGUES OR OTHER VETERANS TO USE THIS COMPANY. I had an old dog that had continence problems and ruined two large silk rugs. This was my last try to save them before having them cut down. Dalworth got all the stains out leaving the rugs looking new. They even fixed a small hole in the rug. I will never use anyone else to clean my rugs. read more

Great service, good job. We had large spills from tea and coke on both ends of our kitchen area rug. This rug was also a light ivory solid color that showed all the dark spots. They picked up the rug and took it to their shop. When they brought it back it was spotless. It looked great! read more

Having our Persian rugs cleaned by Dalworth was the best decision we could have made. The dog odors are completely gone. The fringe repair and the outside seam repair is perfect. The rugs now have a plush pile and feel great on our feet. The colors on both rugs is strikingly vibrant. They look brand new. Having the rugs removed and cleaned at their facility is the way to go. Paid $900+ for multi room cleaning. 24 hours after tile and grout were "cleaned", they said, I would see clean grout. But it looks the same. NOTE: There is a sticky residue on the tile floors. I called Dalworth about the residue. Here is their answer, *word for word*: "There is a residue on tile floors after cleaning. Once you clean the floors, it will go away." SO: Dalworth covers your tile in a sticky residue, which you have to remove by... wait for it... cleaning your floor. And paying $ $. What a deal! The two rooms of carpet plus stairs were cleaned reasonably well. read more

On December 23, 2014, I had my wall to wall carpet cleaned and treated for pet odor. My 5 lb dog had been ill and had been went through several months with frequent accidents. Now that my dog is feeling better, I wanted to get the rugs treated. The technician mentioned where he felt area of the rug that was most affected by pet odor because the treatment "activates" the pet odor. He told me to wait 3-4 hours and then vacuum. My dog and I were upstairs during the 3-4 hour wait period. As instructed, I waited and then vacuumed. The smell was very strong when I vacuumed, much stronger than prior to treatment. The next morning, the smell had intensified. The odor was so bad, it smelled like several gallons of urine had been poured on the carpet. The smell was so bad, it was giving me a headache. I contacted friends of mine who work for a doggie day care who recommended a product that would take care of the odor ASAP. Unfortunately, I had to pay $60 for a gallon of the stuff since that was all they had in stock. I had no choice because I could not stand to be in my place with the odor. I was contacted by Dalworth after I rated their internal survey poorly. And, later requested a refund, or at least a refund. They said "no.....they typically send a manager with the potential for a rework". One unhappy customer....not only with the results but with the lack of customer service. I had to pay for a treatment that made my situation WORSE and then paid $60 to fix it. If i had only called my friend at the doggie day care first, I could have saved the entire Dalworth fee altogether. read more

Dalworth rug cleaners are not exactly very good at integrity. The old reviews are no longer of much value. Dalworth ruined our beautiful area rug. All they had to do was clean a stain on the back of the jute. Any rug and carpet restorer knows that any stain or discoloration is likely to be requiring a gentle touch. They destroyed the backing of the rug and they overscrubbed the front (which wasn't dirty) and completely ruined it. The whole face was frayed and faded, the edges were missing all the thread, as if they had scrubbed it with a wire brush ! I used to restore carpets when I was younger for a company. I know what they did wrong. The cleaner had no idea what he or she was doing. Dalworth are without integrity, I believe. The manager lied to me, said she looked at the before pictures and the damage was already there. When I challenged her, she said she would 'take a look at it.' They took my money and were trying to stop me from rolling it out on their floor to look at it. Here boss started to accost me on my way out, almost attacking me, aggressive, almost trying to pick a fight with me. Terrible customer service if they get caught ruining an expensive rug. We have used Dalworth several times, and each time we are satisfied. With a dog and two young kids, we get our carpets cleaned at least twice a year it seems. I usually pick the basic package, and vacuum and move small furniture, etc myself beforehand. It is a good price, and good quality. We have liked the workers each time also-friendly and thorough. Do not use this service!! The person who came out was not Dalworth but a 3rd party and he was by himself. Since the salesperson on the phone charged me an extra $75 to have my furniture moved, I was surprised just one person showed up and how could he move my furniture by himself. Immediately he tells me, he is not allowed to move furniture so I called Dalworth back. The Dalworth operator (of course) said the manager was not there but told me a new story saying they only move 'moderate' furniture but couldn't give me an example of 'moderate'. Then the cleaner only went over each area one time never going behind furniture or under it. Cost $350 for just the upstairs and since they only go around furniture, I got half my carpets cleaned!! I rented a carpet shampoo machine the next day and the water was dark brown going over the same areas that Dalworth supposedly cleaned. It's a total scam and ripoff and they lie.
