Horrible. I scheduled for a quote to have my master shower redone and waited two weeks to have some condescending jerk show to to bark at me about how the person that came to my home and did the previous work did a horrible job, how I got what I paid for etc. very rude. Cut me off a few times during my call (I had the home owner there to discuss but I was on the phone) and was overall very snotty and rude. The quote he gave me to "tear out all of this" was $900 which is triple what anyone would charge for a completed job, not to "tear it out" which was laughable. I thanked him for his time and he rudely hung up the phone. Overall this customer service was hands down the WORST I have ever experienced and he had the audacity to tell the home owner "I hope she didn't think I was being condescending" as he left. UNREAL. Terrible and I wouldn't pay this guy to come back if the cost was $100. They'll never get my business. Looks like some of the work they do is pretty mediocre anyhow so not sure why he was so uppity about redoing a job that someone ripped me off on. Wow. read more

Update after repeat work: Sir grout did follow through and Trent sent Randy on 10/24/24 to remedy the issue. Randy did some color correction as the previous work had a slightly pink tone. I really appreciated that! No pressure washing is generally done by sir grout but Randy hand cleaned the grout surfaces with a ph neutral solution. Randy double coated the floors and lower parts of the bathroom tiles. Filled in missing areas of grout also. I really appreciate Randy's honesty regarding my concerns (eg scrubbing, using brushes, or pressure washing by grout professionals Will Remove the coating applied). I still have to spot treat with bleach products for mold in the bathroom. Our routine cleaners won't spot clean with bleach as our bathroom is sizable. The floors are holding up well but areas in the bathroom are coming off with gentle cleaning. We thoroughly clean the floors monthly to minimize loss of coating and bathroom 1-2 weeks with the recommended solution. I've minimized products used while showering and we spray down the shower after use. This isn't the "easy cleaning" of a new bathroom/flooring I had hoped for but it's an improvement from where we started. read more

We learned about Sir Grout through their Arlington magazine advertisement in contact with them for an inspection of our shower and proposal. While not cheap (large shower, took 8 hours), they were able to perform a cleaning / restoration - where we were unable to grout discoloration despite several attempts with everything from grout cleaners, soap scum cleaners, bleach, power brushing, and pressure spraying. Back in 2013, we made the mistake of selecting a light color grout for the ceramic tile floors in our new home. Over the last 9 years, mopping, dogs and life in general stained the grout. At our last house, my wife and I used wire brushes to hand scour the grout and the work was exhausting! This time around, we decided to pay to have it done. The quote gave us a little sticker shock, but after what we experienced when we cleaned grout before, we decided to give Sir Grout a try. Carlos was courteous and professional and honored my wish for a start time that would be after my wife had left for work, so she could get ready in complete privacy. They were booked up, so the time from quote to cleaning was less than four weeks. I expected loud equipment but was pleasantly surprised to experience quiet cleaning equipment and was able to get remote work done, during the process. We had the grout cleaned in six rooms and one tile replaced as it had been cracked by something heavy being dropped on it. The work was done in about 7 hours. The grout and tile floor now look like they did when we first bought the house! Although that was the goal, I was shocked at how good it looked. The improvement in appearance was honestly far better than I expected. Some of the other reviews state that their grout was just painted, rather than cleaned. I was at home for the entire project and I saw no evidence of that. Others stated that a few months after the grout cleaning, the grout went back to looking dirty. I asked Carlos about how long the cleaning could be expected to last and Carlos explained they have two products. One of them DOES have to be redone after some time. I think he said 2-3 years. I asked about a PERMANENT solution, since I am a low-maintenance type of guy. That's the service we paid for. You can bet that I'll be extremely disappointed if the permanent fix turns out to be temporary...and I'll update my review. In the meantime, we'll enjoy our like-new floors! read more

My shower was cleaned on September 28th. I called Sir Grout the next day because there were pin hole openings in the caulk. I finally got someone out here over a MONTH later to repair the caulk. We had not been able to use our shower this entire time. We waited three days before we used our shower, and after only four days, the finish is coming off the grout. I have called and texted, and no one will return my call. And now we can't use our shower, AGAIN. I am very dissatisfied with Sir Grout. UPDATE 11/24/21 Michael came back on 11/17 and repaired the coating on the grout. We waited for three days before we used the shower and have had no issues so far. Christine from Sir Grout reached out for follow up which was greatly appreciated. I explained that I understand the company is busy, and I certainly expect to wait my turn, but the lack of communication was what was so unacceptable. The work looked great when they left, however, a couple of weeks later there is one small spot where the grout has pulled away from the tile and water is able to get in. There are also some other small issues with the travertine. Likely an easy fix. I have called them SIX times and have been told each time, by a different person that I will be called within the next 2 days. It's now weeks later and I've heard nothing. Also left messages with our sales person Carlos. Also no response. At this point I will never use them again which is a shame because I have other work that needs to be done. read more

If I could put no stars, I would. Beware when you see the advertisement for "Sir Grout" in the "Home and Design Magazine". DO NOT USE this company for any of their services. Sir Grout made an appointment with me on 6/14/21, knowing that I had 3 weeks to redo grout in 2 bathrooms, and that my home was going for sale on July 15th. I received a confirmation email from them on 6/11/21, that my appointment was set for July 7, 2021 at 6:30 PM. No one showed, called, or texted that they were not coming. I called and left a message at 8:30 PM, to have someone contact me immediately since my house was going on the market that next weekend, and did not have but a few days to do the work. I was frantic. No one called me back, so I called the next morning and spoke to their "receptionist" who informed me that my date had been "switched to August", due to "too many customer requests". She told me my appointment was only for an "estimate", not to have work performed. In my initial phone call, I made it quite clear that I needed the work done, and that I needed it done as soon as possible. There was no apology, no discussion about getting someone out to see me immediately, and nothing offered as to any service she was willing to do to make up for their mistake to solve it on my behalf. Her response that they were just "so busy" was unbelievable. I told her again that I needed to speak to someone in management. She said she would have "someone" contact me. That did not happen. This company does not have any customer serviceat all. No one from their "management staff" ever called or sent an apology letter or text to respond. I had to find someone on the fly to help me redo the grout in time to put the house up for sale that weekend. I would never suggest this company for any work, because of their unprofessional behavior and total lack of caring for their "potential" clients. This business is extremely non-responsive post service. We contracted Sir Grout Dallas June 2021 for a project at our house. At the recommendation of the sales rep, we agreed to the quote/service and also the purchase of their own brand of Natural Hard Surface Cleaner which was supposed to be delivered at the time of service. The sub-contractor came to perform the grout work on June 7, 2021 with no cleaner indicating that there was a back order but promised to drop it off as soon as possible. I called Sir Grout mid-July to follow up on the cleaner and was given a commitment for delivery no later than the following day. During the duration between June and July, I received absolutely no communication nor update from Sir Grout. I subsequently called several more times; each time I received the same lip service. As of Sept 24, 2021, we have not received the cleaner for which we paid for in June nor a refund. I do not recommend Sir Grout as they have failed me and every aspect of basic customer service as a reliable business. read more

Buyer beware. Scheduling estimate and getting work done to clean our master shower grout was very easy (too easy), even offered discount if we were to sign on within certain time period...RED FLAG! Sales person, Tim, did his job in selling services. Technician came in and took down caulking and steam cleaned tile and grout. Problem arose after work was completed... experienced stained water leaking from new caulk that had NOT been a problem BEFORE the work was done. Common sense would dictate perhaps problem was with cleaning and moisture being trapped after recaulking prematurely. We attempted to bring this to the attention of Sir Grout/Tim only to be met with it is a "shower pan problem not draining properly", not even wanting to consider perhaps it was a problem they caused! This was followed by silence as calls were left without replies, even when we only inquired about the specific caulking used so we could recaulk ourselves with same product after allowing area to dry properly so there would be consistency in the finish! We don't care if there was a technical error but please do not pass the buck, there wasn't an iota of an attempt to come and see the problem. Just beware of the sales pitch and that SIr Grout may not stand behind their work as was initially presented in the sales pitch and that once you pay them, this seems to absolve them of any responsibility after. read more
