I saw one of the vehicles and a few days later my right front window regulator broke, rolled down but would not go back up. I am a mechanical break down inspector, in other words if you by an extended warranty on your vehicle and an insurance company questions repairs I go out and verify failure or not so I deal with almost all Dealers and many independent shops through out the valley. I went around and got estimates and all were between $400 and $600 to repair. I went on line and found parts to repair for about $150 to $300 I thought I would just do it myself, figured it would take a few hours and I would save money. Any to make a long story shorter I set up an appointment for the next day and arrived slightly late. They already had a repaired window regulator with steel rollers not plastic and completed repair in about 35 minutes. The window now operates properly and is more quite than before. While I was waiting I peaked into shop and saw two guys that were repairing window regulators and upgrading when possible. If their parents put these folks up for adoption, I am putting in the top bid! OMG, they saved my mind, my money and my car today. A bad detailer damaged my windows. Without even looking at it, a Chevy dealer was telling me it would cost a thousand dollars to fix. I got on Yelp, read the fantastic reviews here & guess what - they sold these folks short! They are way better than a 5-star facility & more honest than our first and 16th presidents. Why, well, they found wear and tear, but nowhere near what Chevy was telling me. They showed me the inferior product that was in place, but when I saw their massive wall of customers, I said - better safe than sorry - let's replace it. Not only did they place high quality metal in there (works like a charm), but I saved over 65% of the Chevy dealer's asking price. First, they answer the phone with a real live person, provide an accurate estimate based on what I could describe as the problem, and I was able to drive down (40 minutes) the same day and have my power window regulator repaired in the 2-hour time frame they told me it should take (had said 2- to 3-hours). I had also checked with the dealership for an estimate, then called back Power window Repair and said the dealership told me it could be a motor, not just the regulator. Derrick said that from what I described, it should just be the regulator and explained what would happen if a motor was the issue. Again, I appreciate that I could get a good idea from a phone call instead having to take the vehicle down to diagnose and estimate. Their lobby is nice, but I opted to get dropped off and picked up by Cynthia to a nearby shopping area. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant - Berkley who handled the transaction, Derrick who answered the phone and Cynthia. I didn't meet the technician, but so far, so good on the repair. Have a 2002 Buick Regal (another rolling example craptastic cheap parts GM infuses into their lineup) which had a faulty driver's side window (wow, can you believe that? Wonder if anyone at GM knows the meaning of durable?) Anyway, Power Window Repair was fantastic. Great price and had window fixed in 15 minutes! Repair guy disassembled door panel in record time...which made me pause and realize this guy has probably taken apart many a GM door panel...stupid GM! Government should have let them rot and denied the bailout. The good news is that Power Window Repair rebuilds their replacement parts themselves with better than original DURABLE parts! Can you imagine going to a dealership to pay 3 times as much to get the same OEM worthless parts that failed to begin with? Power Window Repair is the best deal and value you can get. I did live outside their normal coverage area (Anthem) and had to drive down to the 101 loop to avoid an additional $20 fee for the service. I have a Mercedes CL55 AMG that had a stalled driveraide window. It would not roll down; stuck in the up position. I just had my passenger window repaired on my Chevrolet Silverado today and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I called on a Monday to see if I could have someone come out later in the week or next . . . And to my surprise, they made time for me the following day to fix my car window. Here's the best part - it only cost me $135 for my Silverado! The mechanic was trying to charge at least $300 for this exact service. Paul came out to my job location and provided some of the best customer service I have ever witnessed. Not only did he take care of everything within 10 minutes, but he also scrubbed off all the tape residue I was using to hold my window up on the glass. It was definitely a lot of work, but he went above and beyond to help me out. He also supplied me with an extra can of his own window cleaner so I could take care of anything else in the future. What can I say? This team ROCKS!! Too bad you can't rate more than 5 stars because I sure would. They rate 5+ on all levels: Professionalism, personable, and most importantly-resolving the problem!! My first experience was with my BMW M3 driver's window. They took care of that right quickly. Then next my 03 H2 rear driver side door window. The price for that entire repair was less than just ordering the part online NOT INCLUDING installation! You usually think "OH NO $$$" when a power window fails. Great service and centrally located! The driver side window disappeared into the door of my 2010 Chrysler Town & Country van when I turned a corner one evening. When Advanced Auto Parts attempted to repair the driver's side window of our son's 1991 Nissan Stanza, we were told the parts did not exist for his make and model anywhere in the country! They had called Nissan USA and they used all of their resources but could not find the parts. Imagine my surprise when they billed me $132 for repairs that did not fix the issue!! After nearly two months of driving around with my driver's side window fully open due to a power window issue, I couldn't take it anymore. I had just found this business on internet search. My wife's car driver's side window motor was out for over a year. The Honda dealer wanted outrageous amount like $600. I had a power window repair on my van many years ago at Pep Boys and they charged $300. This business (Power Window Repair) charged $189.92, which included them coming to our house and performing the work right there in our driveway. Used their website and scheduled the visit. All we had to do was answer the door. Easy. The technician performed the install/update and my wife's window is now functioning as if nothing ever failed. Before she couldn't really keep her car locked up since the window was stuck rolled down; and this Arizona desert you need heat in the winter and cool air in the summer. Honestly I was surprised. Usually when it comes to my car and any service work I have to go through the runaround and then when you get the estimate you need a spatula to scrape me off the ceiling the price is so high. But not here. I was welcomed with a smile, I got my free estimate in 10 minutes, (the price was more than half of what the dealer was going to charge me) i said I'd be back in an hour,I was, and they were ready to go to work on my car. Although it did take most of the day(which was not their fault because I had lost a part and they had to fabricate one to replace it no extra charge), my car was ready at the time they said it wo uld be. I found Power Window Repair via eBay and contacted them, they told me what they would do to repair my Window Regulator. and I made the purchase. They gave me shipping instructions and I shipped my Window Regulator to them. When it arrived, I was notified via email. It was repaired within 24 hours and returned back to me with two business days. I reinstalled the window regulator and it worked perfectly. The plastic parts were replaced with metal and properly adjusted so when I installed it, no adjustment was necessary. Since I could not find a window regulator for a 2004 Chevy SSR after visiting over 20 auto supply houses on line, I decided to try this route and I'm very glad I did. I have used PWR to repair 4 of my windows on 2 different vehicles. I had them do both windows on my beetle and then the following year they repaired 2 windows on my SUV. I only gave them 4 stars because they are professional, fast and good at what they do HOWEVER, I'm about to call them again because one of the original windows they repaired just crapped out on me! Its been over the 1 year warranty (of course!) and I have no doubt they will take care of me again, but I don't want to give 5 stars if its the same issue that it was previously. I forgot to follow-up...window was repaired but it was not the same issue so paid full price, but happily it was less than initially quoted.
