Beyond happy that we came across Hosanna and her photography business. After a last minute change of plans due to my boyfriends military work schedule, we were unable to keep our original appointment with another company to have photos done of us and they were unable to schedule us at another time. We're in a long distance relationship and I was in Hawaii visiting only for a few more days. I can not say ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about working with Hosanna. Neither my husband Mike or I are even a little bit photogenic. But Hosanna really made the experience so fun that it didn't feel like we were having photos taken. Also, she does a PHENOMENAL job getting the candid shots - not just the posed looking at the camera shots. Once the shoot was over, she got our images to us in less than a few days! Barbi and Hosanna are a dream team! I found them off of Living Social and booked a photoshoot for a family/ maternity photoshoot in Waikiki. Hosanna was able to recommend a beautiful location (the Hawaiian Hilton Lagoon) which was a short walk from the resort we were staying at. Barbi took our photos and like all the reviews mention-- she is AMAZING with families/ kids! My toddler son was feeling under the weather and is also extremely shy with new people and places. But somehow Barbi was able to capture every little smile and laugh perfectly. When we got our edited photos back literally a week after our shoot day, I was in shock. Not only were they already edited, but the colors were STUNNING and there were so many good pictures to choose from! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but Hosanna's photos are PRICELESS! I still can't get over the beach wedding photos she captured for us - they're a dream come true! They're so good, they don't even look real, seriously. Multiple people who've seen them have commented on how they look like the photos that come inside nice new picture frames when you buy them ;) Not only are the finished products stunning, but the entire process working with Hosanna was simply delightful. Corresponding and negotiating with her was super easy; she's flexible, available and straightforward. She arrived early (to a super remote location she had never been to) without issue and seamlessly wove herself in to capture the most intimate of moments without ever being noticed. She had lots of great pose ideas for everyone and gracefully directed our entire wedding party into a wide variety of shots before and after the ceremony. Hosanna is amazing! My fiancé and I originally just wanted to enjoy our long overdue vacation in Hawaii. We then decided to do our engagement photo shoot there since where is the better place to take our photos than Hawaii. I am so happy we found Hosanna. She was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process - from initial email/phone contact, to the photo shoot day and follow up afterwards, she was always friendly and responsive. She made sure to take multiple shots each poses, and she ended up with over 500 photos for a 2 hour session! How awesome is that? Despite of her busy schedule, she managed to send us some of the preview photos a day after. We promptly received both our retouched and raw photos just a week after, and they turned out beautifully. We were satisfied and amazed with the photos. They really blew my expectations out of the water, which made our trip a very memorable one. I am SO happy we found Hosanna! My husband, 18 month old son, & I took our very first family vacation. My husband & I have been on trips together before, but this was our first time with our toddler. My situation was a little bit unique because we were coming in to the island via a cruise & I told Hosanna during our initial contact that it would be difficult for me to set an exact time to meet her. There were multiple things we wanted to do once we arrived & we pretty much had to play everything by ear that day. On top of that, we only had a certain amount of time on Oahu & had to be back on the ship. With all this being said, my point is that Hosanna was very understanding & gracious. She told me that she would make herself available the entire day & that we will just be in communication the day we arrived...and she did just that! Once our ship arrived, she was so good in making contact with me. I'm very much a planner, so I definitely appreciated her professionalism in making sure to stay in the loop with me. Once we decided on a time & place to meet, it all just went great from there! My husband, son, & I were immediately comfortable with her. She was very friendly & had such a warm personality. We were happy with the specific spots she took our photos at. I was able to tell right away that they would come out beautiful. She has a great eye. My concern was how my 18 month old son was going to be during our photo shoot. She worked very well with him. She was very patient & I appreciated how it was important to her to take perfect shots of us, especially of our son. She works very well with toddlers/kids, & in turn, my son did great! The 3 of us felt very comfortable with her & it was a fun photo shoot! I was amazed by her turn around time. We received all the photos from her in 4 days.
